The next morning I force myself out of bed. I don't even know what time the fitness class it, but I have to be there thirty minutes before it starts. It's going to be filmed and put on TV apparently.

Lord.

The fact that Perri and I made up reassures me. It's so nice to feel welcome again, things aren't awkward between us. And it's so nice that everyone doesn't hate me.

Well...some people still do.

I get up, get showered and changed. Another day, more drama. I think last week was probably the most dramatic week of my life.

I'm quite hungry, so I make my way to the kitchen.

I see Perri, making breakfast.

"Hi Pel," I say.

"Hey Ambs..." He says. "Sleep well?"

"Yeah, where's your Mum?"

"Still asleep, she gets annoyed if I wake her up. I figured you were hungry so I made you breakfast."

He hands me a plate with a full breakfast on it.

"Thanks Perri, this looks good."

I sit down on the kitchen table.

"So what are you doing today?" I say.

"Studio..." He says. "I think it's only me, Mitch and Ike today."

"Why?"

"Everyone else is like, properly jetlagged."

"Aren't you tired?"

"I just don't feel like sleeping at the moment."

I nod. Perri is always up doing something.

Suddenly, I feel like I have to tell him everything that has been going on.

"Do you know...about Veronica?" I say.

"Well...I think something's wrong...what happened?"

I sigh.

"Yeah...she's pregnant."

Perri almost chokes on his drink.

"What?" He says.

I want to laugh at the orange juice spilt in the sink.

"She's staying with her boyfriend. Somewhere not very far from here. I was so angry when I found out."

Perri shakes his head.

"I'm sorry, but she...is very stupid," he says.

"Well...it's like she's very happy about it and all."

"I'm really sorry, Amber. I wish I didn't ignore you as much."

"Don't say sorry. It's fine..."

Perri sighs.

"Then..." I continue. "Fel's mum wanted to imprison me in her house, but we went to see Veronica anyway. The day after was absolutely horrible. We went to this party in Zara's house."

"Amber..."

"I know, I know. It was...let's just say it ended up with me having to threaten a boy with a gun..."

"Amber, are you serious?"

"I mean...well you know me."

I can't also tell him that I kept hearing his voice...

"You saved me from absoloutely going mental." I blurt out.

"How?"

"Let's just say...I'm grateful for you." I say.
