What on earth is Lenny doing here?

"What-" I stammer.

"Shh..." He says.

My mind flashes back to what he did to me and I want to punch him, but seeing Jo and Perri is more heartbreaking.

"I do apologise for before.." He says, caressing my face.

"What's in for you?" I whisper.

He circles me. Why am I listening to him? I feel trapped.

"Nothing." He says. "I want to make it up to you."

"Why are you here in the first place?" I say.

"I come here every summer. My Mum has relatives here." He says. "When I found out Diversity were performing here, it didn't take me long to realise you'd be here with Perri."

I have to say he's a smart thinker. And he's charming. I'm itching to separate her from my boyfriend.

"What's your plan?" I say, quickly.

Perri is laughing with her now. The envy is eating me away.

"I'll charm her. She won't be able to resist me." He says.

He's like an evil fox. You can't say no to him.

"All you have to do.." He whispers, in my ear, putting his arm on my shoudler. "Is update me on everywhere she goes. Everything she does."

My heart starts to beat.

"And what are you going to do when you succeed?" I say.

"Break her heart." He says, firmly making my heart leap.

Am I willing to take this risk?

Let Jo fall in love with someone then be dumped? No!

Yes.

"Okay.." I say. "I'll call you later."

"Nice doing business with you, baby."

He sweeps off like a ghost. Now I feel horrible. But more than half of me is willing to make sure Perri is mine.

They are sitting together now at a table.

"May I join you two?" I say, smiling before sitting down.

"We were just talking about tomorrow." Perri says. "All three of us could go to the cinema tomorrow night. We can't do it earlier- Diversity have a photoshoot."

I nod before looking at Jo. I can't believe I'm about to destroy this innocent girl's love life.

"Great." I say.

Perri kisses me on the cheek.

"We need to spend every moment possible together.." He says, holding my hand.

"You two are so sweet." Jo says.

Oritse walks up to us.

"Jo, we should get going." He says. "I'm sure your aunt is lonely.."

Jo nods and gets up.

"Thanks for the, talk Perri." She says.

When she turns around Oritse makes a kissy face to Perri and he just puts an arm around me.

"See you guys later." Oritse says, before waving goodbye.

"They're both so nice." Perri sighs.

I nod. He definitely likes her.

Perri sighs again.

"Sorry, I know I talk about her a lot..." He says.

"No, not really," I say.
