So, I really liked freyapel's idea about doing a small one-shot on how the league react to Bruce hurting an innocent. So, this is the after-result of the last chapter.
Also, what are the movies/or show that have the other Bat-Siblings in them? Or something that I can watch/do-research on them. I do plan on having them in this only I don't really know what to search.
The news reached everywhere pretty quickly when they found Gabe Ugliano in his cell all broken and bloody with the evidence that Batman was the one that did the damage.
The news took ahold of this information and streamed it everywhere. News spread like a wildfire, "Batman, The Supposed Hero of the Innocent". "Who Does Batman Beat Up Next?".
There was one article that came very close to the truth, "Batman Hurts Convicted Child and Wife Abuser". The article talked about Gabe Ugliano and how he abused stepson, name left out of papers, and his wife, name left out of papers.
The article talks about how Batman was a hero, and that Gabe Ugliano must have done something that he wasn't convicted for. Something that angered Batman to the extent to hurt the already jailed prisoner.
They then thanked Batman later stating, "After a conversation with the prisoner who was all to happy to comply, we learned that Batman mentioned something about the abuser's stepson. There is more to the story that is very brutal and as the writer, I would like to thank Batman for what he has done for that monster of a human."
"Really Bill, a newspaper writer thanking Batman for hurting this abuser. It's unima-" Suddenly the television screen playing at Justice League Headquarters turned off and some of the people voiced their opinion about Wonder Woman turning it off.
She just rolled her eyes, "Don't listen to the news. They tell lies, Batman would never do that." Even as she said it, the rest of the seven that were there (And the ones that knew of Batman's identity) were all concerned for their friend.
That said friend entered the conference room silently and took a seat at the head of the table. He just had to wait, he had gotten the calls all day and it was time to settle the story.
The reason he wasn't in earlier was because he spent the day with Percy (mostly having to convince him that he wasn't in trouble and that he wasn't being punished).
The very thought of what happened made his hands clench under the tables, part of him wanted to pay Mr.Ugliano another visit but he was Batman and Batman doesn't lose control.
It wasn't long, the news that Batman was in the conference room spread and quite fast, the rest of the league that knew his identity were in the room.
Wonder Woman face scrunched in confusion anger as she poked his chest, "What do you think you were doing. You never do that so what happened with whoever this Gabe is?" She asked but made herself loose some of the anger.
Batman raised an unimpressed eyebrow, but this wasn't time for Batman, the reason he'd done it was because he was also Bruce Wayne, uncle of Percy Jackson.
That being said he slowly lowered his hood and watched as some of the surprise shown on the people around him who were slowly doing the same.
"This wasn't Batman, this was Bruce Wayne?" Barry Allan asked, he stopped eating a poptart when the conversation started.
Bruce Wayne clasped his hands and set them on the table and leaned forward, thinking about how to word what he had done.
"The man, Gabe Ugliano, had done something that served the punishment that I gave him I assure you." Bruce said calmly watching the vary of emotions on his teammates face, the most was curiosity.
It wasn't everyday that Bruce Wayne did something Batman and thought that the person deserved having broken bones.
"What did the man do?" John, Green latern, was the first one to ask and they all watched as Bruce leaned back into his chair, now resting his clasped hands in his lap.
"He hurt Percy in unimaginable way." Bruce said calmly though on the inside, he was screaming curses at the man. He was the reason why Percy flinched away from a touch, the reason why he was so scared of messing up that someone would beat him, the man was the reason why Percy was so distant even while living months with no sort of hit.
"Was Percy the unnamed stepson?" Clark Kent asked serious, part of him was also raging. It was unsaid that he was the uncle to any of Batman's kids, and that also extended to Percy. The few times that he went over the boy had this look in his eye, the one that most kids had when meeting their heroes.
Of course it wasn't as bright as when Percy would see Bruce in his Batman costume, but that was okay. The kid was sweet and to think that he was the unnamed stepson....
Suddenly, the whole room changed in temperature. They didn't know details of course, Bruce would never say them out of respect to his nephew, but they knew enough that Gabe probably abused Percy in some way that help land him in prison.
"Was it ever in any reports?" Barry asked, the analyst to the police department asked concerned if it was one of the reasons why Gabe went to jail (and to see if he could figure out what he might've done to receive that many broken bones.
"From what Percy has said, no." Bruce said staring at Barry like he knew his train of thought, he wasn't saying anything which was good. However, there was a threat in the air.
Bruce looked a bit satisfied as he was leaning against his chair, "There is another matter to attend to in tomorrow's meeting." he said as he stood up and fit his cowl back onto his face.
"Another meeting? What's with this week Batsy? You hate meetings?" Oliver Queen, Green Arrow, asked with a small frown.
"It has regard to a former hero, Green Sea. That and the sidekicks." Batman said staring at each of them making them promise to themselves to go to the meeting.
Woman Woman quickly followed Batman out of the room intent to hang with Percy for a bit before she is called away for other matters.
That left a roomful of superheroes all intent of threatening one Gabe Ugliano.
"It's crazy Bill! Justice League have all paid Gabe Ugliano a visit. Everyone is stumped but don't feel sorry for the bastard as Superman said, 'he hurt someone very close to us, we're not justifying our actions but he hurt family, it's something we take seriously.' I don't know about you Bill, but I think it's a bit inspiring."
