To those who were wondering, yes Percy will have powers but I'm still coming up with an idea for how Bruce, Dick, and Alfred find out. Suggestions would be helpful.

It was one of those days when you just wake up on the wrong side of the bed and the day just feels like crapping all over you and your life.

Like literally, a bird pooped on me on my way to school. Like, what the hell fate why did I need to get shit on?!

As if having burnt toast for breakfast or running late for the bus wasn't enough (Stupid Bruce with his early meetings and Alfred out of the country) but nooo, I had to get shit on.

Thank god Dick reminded me to bring extra clothes to school (The other pair ironically got destroyed...)

So, after changing in one of the bathrooms before the period started, I now had a brand new shirt and tie on (because the bird had to take a rather large shit on my life)

But the fate just couldn't leave it there could they? No, I had to have a pop quiz in Science (which wouldn't be too hard expect I was absent when we reviewed the items).

Taking a deep breath after class I made my way back to what I like to think of hell, aka English. That's right, hell as in the thing that is below the earth with all the lava and where all the bad people go.

The reason why it's hell, well the teacher is one because Mrs.Snotty-Old-Sot-Who-Should-Be-In-Jail and then there's the student Derek Miller who just wants to make my life as miserable as possible.

Taking a deep breath and trying to ignore the foot that keeps hitting my chair from behind me exactly where Derek is sitting.

And of course Mrs.Snotty isn't doing anything, just acting like the bright, innocent, devil she is as she scratches the board with her danky little markers.

As if the bird shit wasn't enough, fate just had to give me this torture. It wasn't just the chair pushing or whatever you wanted to call it from Derek, it was the fact Ms.Old-Sot always, and I literally mean always, calls on me to pronounce and explain a prompt that we have read.

Which ironically was a subject we went over when I was sick...I hate fate.

Taking a deep breath and looking down at my clenched hands, nails biting into my palms, I knew that my anger was rising very dangerously.

If I didn't get out soon, I might just actually get expelled, getting a detention for skipping school would be better than getting expelled for doing something I would regret.

Either physically or something that involves my father's side of the 'special' family. The side that I have yet to mention to Bruce or anyone for the matter.

I closed my eyes trying to calm myself ignoring the droning of the teacher and the push of my chair.

"Why can't I tell anyone mom?" A three year old me asked as I messed with some of the water in my bathtub.

"You would endanger the family, your father had to keep it a secret and now it is your turn. I love you." Mom was washing my hair as she told me softly about adventures what my father once did as the superhero Green Sea.

I felt my anger slowly drain out of me as I remembered the day that the police officers came to our house at 3 AM and told us the news that my father was in an accident and he wouldn't be returning home ever.

While my anger was still there, it just felt drained out of me, as I felt older than I truly was. Remembering the day my mom broke down and cried, I was just on the stairs that day and the news just never really processed until a week later.

Sighing I looked at my textbook sadly and slowly started out the sentences that were on the page ignoring Ms.Jailer and Kid Jackass and decided that maybe I should head up to the boxing area I've been thinking about.

Do some of the training I did when I was young, something I took when I was younger for self defense and balance.

Let's just hope another bird (or the same one) doesn't shit on my crappy day again.

We have some backstory YAY!
