Chapter 21: You Asked For It

Note: So, little confusion last chapter. I accidentally out Sea Bat instead of Sea Bird, and after talking to my friend we chose Sea Bird because it just sounds like Percy in a way. So Percy's SuperName is Sea Bird.

Also note, I forgot Wally's last name is West so in some instances you may see Allen when I refer to Wally. Please point them out to me so I can fix them. Thank you.

"What exactly are you doing here Birdy?" West asked walking in sync with me.

"Agent A is not available so I had to come here." I said tensed feeling like West would probably make fun of the fact that I needed a so-called babysitter.

"Ah, well it's nice that you came. Rob's been talking about you to the team." West said making me falter in a step.

Dick's been talking about me? Part of me wanted to not prank them but they hadn't really said anything that they knew about me, what had Dick been saying?

"Oh." I asked trying to feign uninterested but could feel both West and Dick's gaze on me as we followed Canary toward a circle area and I perked in glee.

It was the system I designed!

"I didn't think you installed one in here!" I asked gleefully as I swiped my hand and instantly the challenger signs showed up on each end, they seemed to be working correctly.

"What do you mean?" Artemis asked before Canary could respond.

"Well, I built one for the league. I didn't think Bats installed one in here." I said gleefully checking the systems to make sure that they were running smoothly.

I heard someone falter and saw that Artemis was in shock, "You. Built this." She said shocked as she gestured toward the holograms for the training area.

"Yup." I said deciding to act like it was a no big deal and heard Dick come behind me to rest his arm around my shoulders.

"Bird is amazing with tech, more amazing than I am." He declared making my cheeks redden in embarrassment.

"I-I don't know about that." I said ducking my head feeling heat coming from my cheeks.

I heard a squeal and no sooner was Mrs.Martian hugging me and, dare I might say, coddling me.

I looked helplessly at Dick wondering what the hell was I supposed to do. I don't like being touched, let alone hugged. By a girl no less.

Sure I was at that age where girls were like a seesaw, some days I liked them, some days I felt they had cooties and would drag me down to their pits of hell.

Most days it was the latter.

I saw Wally snickering behind Rob and failing to hid it, oh it is so on Speedster.

"I challenge Wally to a match." I said confidently, both Rob and I knew, I could take him. Let's just see if Wally will play into my hands.

"Nuh uh, not going to challenge you." Wally said acting being smart for a moment, time to edge him on.

"What are you, scared." I dared as I scooted away from a still slightly cooing Megan.

"Nope. Not gonna fight." Wally said and I narrowed my eyes.

"Oh, so you admit you're scared. Of little old me." I asked feigning hurt as I placed my hands where my heart was.

"Oh come on Baywatch, you can probably take the Mini Rob." Artemis said rolling her eyes and I ignored the glee that I felt being referred to as Mini Rob.

What? We are technically brothers and it's just nice to pass off as being brothers too, just a bonus really.

Wally still looked hesitant and I rolled my eyes, "Clearly I have to tell all of the Justice League that Kid Flash was scared to take on a non-superhero. Whatever shall they say." I said a bit dramatically and saw Dick roll his eyes at my antics and then narrowed when Wally puffed his chest.

"I'm not scared of you." Wally said annoyed at me and I saw Black Canary watched on in total amusement while Dick narrowed his eyes suspiciously.

"Bird..." Dick warned telling me to knock it off.

"What?" I asked innocently, "Wally has accepted my challenge."

Wally looked hesitant as we both went into respectable corners. Feeling calm, I got into a ready position and saw Wally look hesitant.

"I don't want to hurt you kid." Wally said as the countdown from five started.

"Too bad I can't say the same thing." I said with a grin and as soon as 'start' was on the screen I took off toward Wally and saw him make a hesitant stab with his hand that I quickly jumped over.

Both using Batman's and Robin's Technic to just flip around the speedster who has yet to use his speed and instead try not to hurt me.

I was just messing though, feeling comfortable with the flips that Dick has been teaching me, I was practically untouchable.

I let him play around for a few more seconds before rolling my eyes starting to feel bored. Using the advantage that he wasn't using his powers, I quickly flipped over another jab and quickly swept his feet away, grabbed his hand and twisted it behind his back.

All in barely a blink of an eye (except Rob's who has been trained) and I heard Wally yelp loudly. I rolled my eyes as the score said that I had won.

"Way too easy West." I rolled my eyes, releasing his arm so he could stand up and glare at me.

"Who can tell me what Wally did wrong." Black Canary said as she started the lesson.

"Ooo! He totally shouldn't have laughed at my brother and get manipulated by him!" Dick said smiling excitedly at Wally's expense especially when Wally pouted.

"Dude. You're suppose to be on my side." Wally whined as he clutched his arm acting like it hurt when I knew I didn't do it that hard.

"Along with?" Canary asked raising an eyebrow.

"He underestimated an opponent and decided that because he was younger, he didn't need to use to speed." Artemis said calmly as I beamed at her, oh I liked her.

"Correct. Now, shall we pair up and get started. Bird and Robin will help me show some moves to you guys." Canary said as she had Rob and I pair up before showing the YJ league some moves to be used in the field.

But Operation Scorpion was a go.
