S o you let the poison fall from your lips,
E xuding toxic streams of breath.
C lear them away, or their hearts you'll rip.
L ips leaking red pain, not colourless death,
U nderstanding it's worse that way,
D ead men cannot hear what you have to say.
E xhale after exhale and barbed words to drip,
D rive them away, titanic relationship.
A nd as for the regret? (Is there regret?)
N eeds that you bury? (Concrete not yet set?)
D erived of emotion? (Or just trying to forget?)
A lone is safe, no fear for another's trap.
F ear can be stifled and hidden away.
R eally though, there's a factor you didn't cap,
A rmour shrouding you from day to day.
I t doesn't protect your from your own blade,
D oes, however, stop you from receiving aid.
