Toy soldiers with plastic guns

Hunt you down as you try to run.

Did you think war would be a game?

Where allies and enemies are nearly same?

Did you imagine wearing green?

When the gunk is more your sheen?

The old men will send the young to die,

And block their ears of all the silent cries.

Army propaganda really did it,

Made so many young folk see fit,

To die bloody and drowning in fear,

To not the others side's begging hear.

Toy soldiers with plastic guns,

Once thought war'd be kinda fun,

The old men told the young to go die,

And they did it, cheerfully waving goodbye.
