"Ellie called you a plant," Gemma told Michelle when she got back from her vacation and meet up with Ellie.
"A plant?" she asked incredulously. "As in I need to be watered and left out in the sun..." she continued, a bit confused look.
"I think it's the self-reproducing part," Gemma clarified.
"Huh... So she thinks I'm asexual...?" she looks really really confused now, and it's quite adorable. "LGBTQI... A," she said. "I thought I have a pansexual all-encompassing love for everyone, but apparently she thinks that I'm not capable of loving anyone."
"I think it's because she thinks that you don't need to be with anyone."
She considered this and agreed, "That is true."
"Don't think about it too much, she just said that since you're not talking to her anymore," Cosmo defended.
"I see her point though," I sided with Ellie's assumption. Yes, Mich, despite what you say about your him, at the end of the day, I actually think that you are not capable of actually loving anyone.
"Nate!" Tia scolded me.
"That's okay, I sort of get it. I mean, I don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend, and I don't think I need one," she said.
"Also Ellie has a new girlfriend and she's hot," Gemma said while showing us a picture of a pretty hot girl (sorry, Tia) on her phone.
Michelle looked at it and said, "Oh gosh, she's so pretty. I have a crush on her, just seeing that."
"So, what about you?" Gemma asked Mich. "Sorry about the crush of your life."
"I decided to be happy that he's happy. And I'm obviously happy about this new couple," she said gesturing to Tia and I.
"You two do make a cute couple," Gemma complimented.
"They are sickeningly sweet," Cosmo commented. "I'm tempted to unfollow Tia's Instagram."
"Oh, come on," Tia complained.
"Gemma doesn't post couple pics," Cosmo reasoned.
"That's because I'm so used to hiding my relationship. Posting pictures just feels so unnatural," Gemma replied.
"I'm glad that Ellie has moved on," Michelle said.
"Like how you were relieved that I did?" I said with an eyebrow raised.
"Yes," she replied tightly.
"Well, I'm happy that he did," Tia said.
"Oh, you don't have to worry about me. I'm a plant," she deadpanned.

But just because I don't think I need to be with anyone. Doesn't mean that I don't want to be.
Should I have accepted their offers? Even if I know that I could never reciprocate their feelings? Just so I wouldn't end up alone?
I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned. I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye. – Savage Garden, Affirmation
But nah, I'll just go to the pool and water myself, like the plant that I am.
