Raoul wandered around the Opera house for the first time in two weeks. He hadn't seen or spoken to Christine in what felt like forever, he couldn't help but to feel anything but worry in the pit of his stomach. At this point he wasn't even wandering, he was searching every nook and cranny in the place, "Christine." He mumbled softly, remembering how poorly he treated her. Why would she want to come back to me. He thought to himself.Raoul was almost to Box 5 when he heard the most familiar voices, he wasn't sure if it was just his mind playing tricks or if it was the utmost amount of luck. He turned the corner, walking rather quickly now. He stopped right outside and just stood there, eaves dropping as most would call it.
"You left so quickly," Christine frowned she leaned against the wall and slid to the floor, "I didn't know what was wrong."
"Nothing is wrong, darling." Erik quietly spoke, he looked down at her, "Be careful."
"You've been crying though." she looked at him, "Why have you been crying, have I done something to hurt your feelings?"
"I wasn't crying. I'm not weak." Erik huffed and crossed his arms. He looked away.
"I know that you've been crying," Christine frowned, "Look at me, I can prove it."
"No."
Christine struggled at first, but slowly got up, she gently turned his chin towards her, "Your eyes are red, your pale cheeks are the brightest color of pink." she kissed the top of his head.
"It's just allergies." Erik pulled away, he hugged her waist and kissed her stomach, "I can't wait."
Christine looked down at him and smiled, "Me either."
"Christine, you need to find Vicomte, tell him. Tell him the truth." Erik uttered.
"Find Raoul? Why would he want to see me?" Christine frowned.
Raoul peaked into the room, he swallowed and stepped inside, "I do. More than you'd ever know."
Christine's eyes shot up at Raoul, she gripped onto Erik so he wouldn't move, only to reveal her ever so growing stomach.
"Shocked to see me?" Raoul raised an eyebrow, "Christine why haven't you come home. You're my wife, you can't just leave and come back whenever you feel like it. I've been worried."
"I've been busy, living my life." Christine mumbled, she looked down at Erik.
"I see you two found each other again." Raoul rolled his eyes, he crossed his arms, "You're coming home with me, Christine."
Christine looked at Raoul, "Excuse me?" she huffed, "I'm not going anywhere. You need to go home. I'm sure that Annette is patiently waiting for you." she glared at him.
"Is that what this is about?" Raoul frowned, "That was a one-"
"A one time thing, was it?" Christine muttered, "You're a liar." she moved quickly into the darker area of the room, "You've always had a thing for her, if you like her so badly, then why don't you marry her."
Erik stood and turned to face Raoul, he looked at Christine, "I don't see any good time other than now."
Christine looked at Erik, "Is that all you think about?"
"What are you supposed to tell me? Nothing can be worse than this, have you slept with him? Are we even now?" Raoul growled, he stepped closer to Christine, "I want to see my son."
"He's not your son!" Christine shouted, "He's never been! You've never loved him."
"What do you mean? I love Gustave. He is my son." Raoul frowned, "You can't tell me you're taking him too."
"Sure, that's what I meant." Christine huffed and stormed into one of Erik's passages.
Raoul glared at Erik, "What have you done." he asked quietly, trying to calm himself down.
"I haven't done anything that hasn't been done before." Erik smirked and followed Christine.
