Chapter 22
Carly
Tyler is taking me to a party. A popular party. My first party. His first party. I'm excited. You're supposed to dress up. I choose a hot pink cocktail dress, with fishnet leggings, and ankle boots. I put on some lip gloss and mascara. My hair is pulled into a messy yet still elegant bun. When I come out of my room, Tyler is inside talking to Aunt Ginger. They both look speechless as I walk down the stairs. I smile at him. We walk to his car together, "You look beautiful."
I smile in response. When we arrive at the party the music is loud enough to hear from the outside. Tyler and I walk in holding hands.

I'm at the party with Jill, Jake's sister. I flew in to apologize and surprise Carly. I'm waiting on the sofa. Jill says she's gonna be here. I see her enter the house, and I stand up. She's wearing a hot pink dress, and looks beautiful, as always. There's something different about her. She's smiling, really happy. My heart sinks, she walks in holding a boy's hand. I sit back down. I left, and she fell in love. Simple as that.
