"So, how'd it go?" Rory asked. "Can I use my Mii as my yearbook photo?"

"No." Ethan said. "They shot us down. Maybe next year."

"You want me to eat their families?" Rory asked.

"No!" Mckenzie exclaimed.

Rory burst into hysterics. "I was just kidding! You looked all 'Oh no, Rory's a maniac!'."

"Don't joke about that." Ethan said. "Sometimes I wonder what you do at night."

"It's pretty wild." Rory lied. "The less you know, the better." He thought about his many nights spent eating marshmallows and watching TV. "Anyway, what do the yearbook nerds wanna do?"

"Use some lame old camera." Ethan said, not realizing Hannah Price, head of yearbook staff, had walked up behind him. "She probably doesn't even know you have to develop the film. She's probably staring at the screen, wondering why the picture isn't showing up. She's standing right behind me, isn't she." Rory and Mckenzie shared an awkward laugh and left the two alone.

"Hi Ethan!" Hannah said. "I-I like your shirt!"

"Thanks." Ethan said. "It's a small."

"Listen, I'm super sorry about not liking your idea this morning. It was a really good one, maybe we can find a way to use it." Hannah said.

"What about your camera?" Ethan asked.

"About that..." Hannah trailed off. "Can I trust you?"

"Well, I don't know." Ethan said. "Um, I'm gonna go find out." He walked away leaving a dumbfounded Hannah standing alone wondering if she really could trust this boy.

"I'm getting my hair done after school." Erica informed Sarah, Bella, and Mckenzie. "You wanna come?"

"Why are you getting a makeover for the yearbook photo?" Sarah asked. "Vampires don't even show up on camera."

"This would've been my first hot yearbook picture." Erica whined. "The others were..."

"Not the best photos of you." Mckenzie laid Erica down lightly, knowing that if she struck a nerve, she could easily be Erica's lunch.

"I don't care if nobody else can see it." Erica said. "I'll know how good I looked."

"What about you?" Bella asked Sarah. "Does it bother you?"

"I'm just hoping to forget most of this year." Sarah said sighing.

"As a friend you met this year." Mckenzie retorted. "I'm gonna try not to take that personally."

Sarah just playfully rolled her eyes at the girl. She loved Mckenzie, but her constant sarcasm got on her nerves ever so slightly to be annoying but lovable at the same time. "Go find your boyfriend."
