7:45 PM

"Aw, man!" Benny said. "Why couldn't we have been at home? Watching So You Think You Can Dance? Eating a Triple Meat Lovers pizza. With extra meat."

"Yeah!" Ethan said. "Instead, our teachers could bust in here at any second and scoop out our brains like chip dip."

"Do you think we can outrun them?" Cole asked.

"I don't have to outrun them," Mckenzie said. "I have to outrun you."

"You know? I think they'd go for your brain first, ms. 'honor role'." Cole said.

Before Mckenzie could produce a snappy comment, a banging on the door drew the four teens attention to the zombies outside trying to get in.

"Where is Sarah?" Ethan asked. "We could really use her help right now?"

"I don't think she was in much of a helping mood today." Benny said, recalling what happened earlier that day.

9:15 AM

"I'm not breaking any arms or smashing anyone into a wall because he called you...what was it?" Sarah asked.

"Teethan." Ethan admitted.

"Benny rabbit." Benny said shamefully.

"Cole slaw." Cole said looking down. "It's not what he says, it's how he says it."

"Let's go, children." A teacher said.

"Will do." Benny said. "If not there in 5 minutes, start boring kids without us."

"We'll be right there, sir." Ethan corrected.

"Forget it, okay?" Sarah said. "Bella and I have a field trip to the art gallery. Lucky us."

"I gotta go, Mr. Delay will take me to attendance if I'm late." Mckenzie said sighing. "Later Teethan, Cole Slaw, Benny Rabbit."

"Sounds cute when she says it." Benny said, grinning from ear to ear.

"Oh, we are so dead!" Benny exclaimed.

"Why couldn't we get some sort of sign this was going to happen?" Cole asked.
