Okay so I'm officially back on the one-shot train and I got this idea this morning and I HAD to write it today. Even though its late and I've been up since 5:30 and I've been running around and working out like crazy, I just had to write it because this was probably one of the best thing I've ever written I think. But it could be just really bad and I could be totally wrong. XD
But I'll let you guys judge that!

You sighed as you looked down at the city below you as you stood on the roof of the penthouse you now lived in. It was beautiful out tonight... The streets were brightly illuminated and buildings were lit up through the windows, giving off a warming gold light on your skin, even from the rooftop. Even the sky was lit up, as stars were sprinkled around the black skies as they shone with the moon. It hadn't been so pretty out in a while because of the harshly cold London nights, you never seemed to go outside. But tonight was different. It was perfectly cool and everything seemed to be in balance and completely flawless. Like everything was in its perfection just for you.
And it was so calm...
You weren't used to the calm because you were always running around Europe on a mission for the infamous Consulting Criminal James Moriarty. Also known as your secret lover. Yes, you were dating him... Well really, you loved him. And you had for long time, before you he did really. As cliché as it sounded, you've had feelings for him from the moment you first met him. And you really didn't know why... Something just felt right when you were around him. And that was something that no one else could do for you. And that's why you loved him.
But tonight you were alone... Your boyfriend was out working, which was happening a lot really. You never really got to see him anymore because of him always working and because of the wonder detective Sherlock Holmes always getting in his way.
The mere thought of that scoundrel made you roll your eyes. He was taking your love from you and it made you want to just get rid of him yourself. You definitely had the ability. You had been a trained assassin for a few years and that's how you met James... It all seemed like a distant memory now, but it came to you like it happened only last week.
"And who are you doll?"
"(Y/N). (Y/N) (L/N)." You said proudly as you took his gentle hand when he held it out for you. But, instead of a handshake, you got a kiss on the top of your hand...
Gosh you were so flustered. You felt your cheeks burn at this guy. His dark mysterious eyes, perfectly slicked back ebony hair... Gosh he was gorgeous...
And your feelings from that day had only grown and honestly, for the better. Sure, you two argued sometimes, but every couple did right? Well yeah, but he would always show that he was sorry.
And depending on what the fight was about and how bad it got, there would be different ways he would prove that he was sorry. (*Wink wink*)
People didn't see him the way you did. People saw him as a psychopath, but he wasn't! He really wasn't! He was kind and sweet and loving and silly and just plain sexy sometimes. And he could just drive you crazy...
You felt yourself smile a little bit with a small sigh. You wish that he could be there with you, but you knew that he had to work. He always said he worked so much so he could 'take care of you.' But he already did take care of you. He always made sure that you were safe. He had to make sure of it. And he always did, whether it was keeping you wrapped up in his strong arms when you were with him, or constantly checking on you over text like an over protective and worried mother...
