Hey everyone! I've been feeling a lot better so I got on my computer, got some music blaring in my room (Even though I'm supposed to be asleep) so I'm in a writing mood! XD

Thank you for being so patient with me while I was gone on a hiatus, and of course now with me being sick. It really means a lot to have such an AMAZING community following me and sticking with me no matter what. So, enough of my rambling. Lets get to the chapter!

*THIRD PERSON POV*

How 'bout a dance? What do you say? I've got some moves that I'd love to show you.

You raced over to the mirror in your room when you heard the doorbell ring to take on last glance at how you looked.

'Okay Y/N... Take a deep breath. You can do this.' You reassure yourself mentally. 'You got this. Its only prom... With your best friend that you've liked forever-'

"Y/N!" You hear your mothers voice call from downstairs. "He's here!"

You felt yourself tense... Your brain froze for a split second, but was racing still. "Okay I'm coming!" You call back, desperately needing one more minute to make sure you looked perfect. Stunning. And everything that was perfect. But since you didn't have time you improvised. First you looked at your hair, which was a bundle of pristine (Hair color) curls bundled up into an updo intricately held up by what seemed like a million bobby pins and a whole bottle of hairspray. Next, your makeup. Simple, yet elegant lined eyes that was flawlessly paired with a lipstick that made your eyes pop and sparkle a bit more than usual.

And your dress? The deep shade of purple tied everything together seamlessly. Its long, flowing skirt trailed behind with each step you took, making you not only feel, but look absolutely astonishing.

But with no time to waste, you quickly ran out of your room and you heard the front door open and close and you took a deep breath before lightly holding onto the railing of the staircase that led downstairs.

You look so handsome! How 'bout a dance? Let's make a start!

As you started down the steps, you carefully held the long, silky skirt of your dress so you wouldn't trip as you made your descent. And when you looked at the entryway at the bottom of the staircase, you saw your ebony curled date waiting for you with a slightly astonished expression on his face because of how marvelous you looked in your dress.

He cleared his throat quietly and fixed his black tie that was strategically paired with a dark purple shirt that matched your dress perfectly.

He stood up a little straighter before resuming to admire you with those crystal blue irises that you couldn't help but look into until you got to the bottom of the stairs. You smiled lightly when you got to him and he smiled back at you, not able to take his eyes off you.

You felt him gently take your hand and put your corsage around your wrist. "You look beautiful." He said, before gently kissing the top of your hand.

You felt blood rush to your cheeks at that but smiled. "Thank you." You say, honestly flattered because you had never seen this side of your sociopathic pal. "You look nice too Sherl."

Well, before he could respond your parents basically forced you two out of the house so you wouldn't be late. And if you had left a second later, you would've been.

Tonight is the night I've been waiting for. Even the moon looks just right.

After a quick drive to where you both went to school, he came around to your car door before you could get out and opened the door, and held out his hand for you, which you gently took as you got  out and closed the door behind you.

You couldn't help but look up at the sky for a moment, seeing the moon in its perfect full phase with the glimmering stars speckled and dotted all across the black, inky night sky. But your attention was soon ripped away from it when you heard music coming from inside. You laced your arm through your date's and he escorted you inside.

I'm sure the crowd will make room on the floor. When they see you look like you do!

Your ears were immediately filled with blaring music when you stepped foot into the party area where hundreds of people were dancing to the fast paced song playing. You prayed that you didn't have to dance right. Right now at least. Because number one, you hated this song. And number two you weren't a big fan of fast dancing. You dint think you were good at it.

"Its okay if you don't wanna dance right now." Sherl said to you, and you looked at him, not thinking you had an anxious expression on your face but he always could read you like a book. But he was different with you... "I don't like this song either." He told you and you laughed.

"It was that obvious huh?" You question with a smile on your lips.

"A bit." He replied with that trademark, sly smirk he always had when he made a successful deduction.

"Do you trust me?" He asked, kinda out of the blue after the song had ended.

"Yeah..." You reply, letting yourself show that you were suspicious, but also mildly curious.

"Are you sure?" He asked when he spotted your suspicion and he held out his hand so you could follow him to whatever he was planning in that head of his.

So how 'bout a dance? Let's make a start!

You let your curiosity take over and took his hand. "Lead the way." You say and he smiled lightly before taking you outside to yet another place to dance. But this place was on a patio with lights romantically strung overhead. It was like he put all of this together. Every little detail was so intricately put together it had to be just that.

"How 'bout a dance Y/N?" He asked as you both stepped onto the floor.

"I'd love one." You reply as the song conveniently turned to one with a slow tempo.

He gently took your hand and slipped his other hand on your waist, while you held his hand and placed your other on his shoulder. You looked up at him and looked into his eyes while he lead you step by step to the rhythm of the music. He looked back down at you in a way that he never had before, and you felt something you never had before.

Gazing at each other, you danced together for what seemed like an eternity but was only the 3 minutes the song had lasted.

You'll lose those blues and you may lose your heart.

The song came to a slightly sad end and you two stopped, not taking your eyes off of each other for a moment. But you felt your heart start to beat at a faster pace... He slipped his other hand from yours to lightly cup your cheek while he admired you. He leaned in, and so did you until your lips were on his. Softly at first, but passionate after you told him that you wanted  it without pulling away or using words. It felt as if the rest of the world had fallen away and it was just you two. And you two only. And hopefully that's how it would be forever.

You'll Lose the blues and you may lose your heart.

A/N: Sorry if that wasn't good, I'm super tired right now and I just wanted to get something written quickly (Even though that took an hour to write up). But if you did like it, make sure to leave a vote and a comment maybe? ;)

But as always, requests for this are open so leave a quick little request if you have one! Thanks guys! <3
