Chapter 3: L.A., Here we come!

Days flew and the weekend came. I woke up early so I can help mom and dad pack.

I'm now sitting on the chair, my family and I eating breakfast. Mom cooked pancakes, eggs, hotdog, toasts, and poured some milk for Bliss and I.

Dad drank his cup of coffee and started reminding us, "Bliss and Claire, please pack your clothes and everything you need so you can help us."

"Okay," Bliss and I answered.

Mom and dad already packed the electronic devices yesterday, so we'll just be packing few stuffs today.

Uncle Billy came here yesterday with his truck so he'll be the one to bring the stove, washing machine, refrigerator, dad's chair with a massage button, 2 boxes of mom's favorite books, and the paintings mom collects, cabinets, some closets, 3 boxes of shoes and 3 boxes for Bliss's shoes. You can say that I love shoes.

Uncle Billy lives in L.A., the same subdivison where we're going to live. I guess we're neigbors. Uncle Billy has been always one of my favorite uncles. When I was kid, he always gives me candy and chocolate & chip ice cream everytime he visits us.

After eating, I headed downstairs to pack. I got the perfect outfit from my closet and placed it on my bed. I got a white, heart-shaped earrings and black with red spots bangles. I prepared my black with gold ribbon doll shoes and placed it under my bed.

I took out my blue suitcase from the storage room and zipped it open. I took out all my t-shirts, blouses, tank tops, sleveless tops pants, shorts, skirts, and jogging pants from my closet and put it inside the suitcase.

Then, I got a smaller maroon suitcase and zipped it open. I got my sleepwear and home clothing and placed it inside the suitcase. I took out all my undergarments and put it inside the suitcase. I got a big transluscent purse and put inside my lotions, creams, deodorant, face powder, perfumes, body sprays, and nail cutter. I went to the bathroom and put my body wash, facial wash, shampoo, conditioner, hair treatment oil, and loofah.

I then reached for my socks and put it inside my suitcase. After putting everything I need, I went to the comfort room for a bath.

After taking a bath, I wore my outfit, accessories, and shoes. I plugged the hair dryer, switched it on, and started drying my hair. I tied my hair with a pony tail since it's now fully dried. I then faced the mirror and started putting on some face powder and mascara. I applied a light pink lipstick and smiled. Perfect. I pulled my 2 suitcases with me.

Fully ready, I went to Bliss's room and saw her putting on make-up in front of the mirror. Bliss and I never applied heavy make-up. We both like natural beauty.

She saw me and smiled. "You look beautiful."

I chuckled. "You look beautiful too."

"You ready?" I asked.

She nodded. "Yup."

We went downstairs, me on her heels, holding our suitcases. We then saw mom and dad looking around the house.

"I never thought that I'd miss this house," mom stated.

Dad sighed. "Yeah, I'd miss this too."

Bliss and I looked at each other with a weak smile.

Bliss said, "We'd miss this house, too."

I sighed. "Yeah."

Dad stated, "Anyway, let's go!"

"Let us!"

We went outside and saw my besties with their parents at our porch.

"Good Morning, guys. So, the kids will go to the other car we rented. And the parents are going to the other car," Robert stated.

"Sounds good to me," Ryan said.

"Yup," mom stated.

Us girls went to the the car along with Jake, Apple's older brother, Keira, Diana's younger sister, and James, Kelly's older brother and put our suit

Finally seated, I sighed and took a last glance at the house that where I grew up, holds my childhood memories, and I'll miss.

L.A., Here we come!
