Chapter 44: Perfect Couple

Claire's POV

"Get in the car!" Liam called out.

"Okay," I replied and got inside his car.

"I'm supposed to drive my own way to school," I told him.

"Nonsense! I'll be fetching you, everyday!" he dismissed.

I smiled. "Really?"

"Really."

"Aawww! Thanks!"

Bliss finally got her license and was promised by mom and dad that she'd get her car on her 17th birthday.

He said, "S'okay. I love you."

I blushed. "Love you too," I replied and he sealed it with a kiss.

He smiled. "Fasten your seatbelt."

"Yes, sir."

I fastened my seatbelt and turned on the radio and increased the volume to 7.

Weak. I have been crying and crying for weeks. How'd I survive when I could barely speak, barely on my knees....

"EEEEKKK! I love this song!" I shrieked in excitement.

I looked at Liam and saw him smiling and stealing glances from me.

"What?" I asked, curious.

He shook his head. "Nothing. It's just...your so cute."

I blushed. "Sh-Shut up!"

"What?! I'm just admiring my girlfriend," he said. "....girlfriend," he called.

I rolled my eyes and pretended to be irritated but my smile tells the total opposite. I blushed harded and said, "Whatever," I said then mocked, "boyfriend."

You changed my whole life. Don't know what you're doing to me with your love..

I'm feeling all superhuman you did it to me. A superhuman heart beats in me, nothing can stop with your love....

Finally, we made our way to Welsh high and Liam parked his car. I was about to open the door and leave when a hand I'm familiar with grabbed my arm gently.

Liam's POV

I grabbed Claire's arm gently and she turned her head and looked at me. I looked at her in awe and whispered, "I love you."

She blushed. "I love you too."

I grinned. "I'll take you home, okay?"

She nodded. "But before we go home, I'll take you out on a date. Is that okay?" I asked.

She smiled and answered, "Of course."

I kissed her forehead lovingly and pulled away. "Let's go."

"Let's go."

She turned her head and I said, "Wait!"

She faced me once again and questioned, "What is it?"

I leaned in, our faces and lips close to each other. "Let me open the door for you."

She shook her head. "You don't have to."

"But I want to."

"Okay."

She leaned against the seat and I smiled. I stepped out of the door and closed it. I went over to the door of the passenger seat and opened it.

She got out of the car and chuckled. "Thank you, gentleman."

I smiled. "Your welcome, mi'lady."

She tiptoed and kissed each of my cheek. "As a reward."

I stuck out my tongue and wrapped my arms around her tiny waist. I then said, "A kiss..." I trailed off and then finished, "....on the lips."

She rolled her eyes and shook her head teasingly. "No," she objected.

I pouted. "Please..."

"No."

"Oh, c'mon."

"Nope."

"Please."

"Nope."

"Please. Please. Please. Please. Please. Ple-"

"Fine!"

I leaned in and my grip around her waist tightened. Our lips are finally inches close to each other and finally our lips touched.

I don't know why, but just a kiss on my cheek or a quick kiss from Claire can make me happy and feel tingles all around my body.

Our lips moved in perfect sync with love and passion for each other.

We then pulled away and Claire said, "We have to go. We'll be late for class."

I nodded. "Your right. Let's go. I'll walk you to your classroom, okay?"

"Thanks, Lee."

"Your welcome, baby."

"I like it when you call me 'baby'."

"Well then, I should just call you my pet names I told you."

She giggled. "Alright. S'up to you."

We then headed to the schoo hand in hand, ignoring the stares of others.
