Liam's POV

An empty hallway. I then saw a tiny waist and back that probably belongs to a girl. She started walking down tha hallway and I immediately followed her.

She suddenly stopped dead in her tracks as I get closer. Her back in front of me, I wrapped my arms around her waist and begged,

"Please, forgive me," I begged.

Even in my dreams, I'm still asking Ms. Beautiful for forgiveness. Weird and very distracting. It's very weird that my dream changes from a meadow to an empty hallway.

What's next, a comfort room?!

Nah, I don't think so. Seeing myself in a comfort room with Claire is stupid. It felt like we're doing...something.

Stop it, Liam, I deadpanned inside my mind.

I'm being a pervet! Something I wasn't for a long time. I mean, I am kinda perverted but when Lea came, I did my very best to control my a little bit green mind.

I sighed, feeling amused with myself and went to Claire's house.

I am more than ever determined to earn her trust again.

I pressed the doorbell and waited for a few minutes.  While waiting, I looked around and suddenly heard the door open. I turned back to see a mid-30s man in front of me.

I cleared my throat and said, "Um, may I speak to Claire - who I believe - is your daughter?"

He then looked at me with a questioning look before replying, "Sure, I will. Only if you tell me who you are."

He sounds strict.

"Well, I'm a friend and a schoolmate of Claire's and her sister, Bliss's."

He nodded curtly. "Wait here."

Few minutes and Claire appeared right in front of me.

Then, Mr. Williams said, "I'll leave you two here."

I smiled. "Thank you, Mr. Williams."

After speaking, I turned my attention to Claire who haven't said any word since I wished to speak with her.

"Claire, may I speak with you?" I asked.

She first looked at me for some time before aggreeing, "Sure. Let's sit at the bench. I nodded.

"So," I then trailed off, "...Claire, about what I said, I'm so sorry. Believe me, I didn't mean it. It wad just an...emotional outburst."

She cocked an eyebrow. "Emotional outburst? Wow, big word."

I sighed, "Claire. Yes, it's true. Emotional outburst. Listen, whatever I told doesn't mean anything."

She inhaled and exhaled. "Liam. You judged me. You undestimated me without no proof. I just want to talk to Ethan, nothing more. Apparently, you thought really wrong. That's so stupid," she said in a stern, yet kinda unsteady voice.

"I know, and I'm really sorry. Please, give me a chance."

"I don't think so. You are the first - hopefully the last - person that told me I sleep with others."

Even though she looks down at her lap, I still managed to look at her with a hard glare. Feeling my stare, she looked at me and our eyes met.

Our eyes meeting seem to happen very often. One of us would look him/her, not knowing that he/she would look at him/her coincidentally.

"Claire," I huffed, "Ethan isn't the type of guy you think he is. He has done lots of mistakes and has never learned a lesson or even a single moral."

She sighed. "I know. But I have a feeling that he could change." She then added, "...by someone."

She might be the only one to say that about Ethan and I'm quite shocked and surprised. Yep.

"To be honest with you, I don't know why you feel that way. It's something rare for someone to believe in Ethan with all what he did," I admitted.

I then added, "That's why I thought you wanted his...body."

Her heads snapped to look at me and she looked at me with an honest look. "I didn't know your that judgemental."

I sighed. "And I'm sorry."

"Please give me a chance," I begged.

"We'll see."

"Right."

"Liam, forgiving you is not that easy. But sure, I'll try to."

"Thanks. I'm flattered."

"You should be. Forging you was amazing. What you did was stupid."

"I know."

"Good."

"Now, go home."

"R-Right."

"You know, I dreamed of you Claire - I think - being wrapped around my arms from behind. Then, I said: 'please, forgive me," I claimed.

"I-I did t-too," I stuttered.

I sighed. "I'll see you at school."

I got up from the bench and walked away from their porch before saying, "Bye, Claire."

She flashed me a smile. "Bye, Liam."

Claire's POV

Call me crazy, but I'm just expressing what I'm saying. I know, I believe, that Ethan James Valden is truly a good guy. And that he just went to the wrong path. Most girls at school are head over heels for him, especially the head cheerleader. Ashley Mallet, head over heels with Ethan and I heard that she desires Liam.

Why do I feel bothered and...jealous?

I sighed in disgust and looked down as I walk towards my room. My feet went several directions. Left. Right. Straight. BAM!

"Ow!" I yelped in pain. I just bumped my forehead against the wall.

Ugh, what is going on with me?!

Your distracted, a little voice in the back of my mind butted in.

By whom? I certainly don't know.

Liam, 'it' answered.

I truly am crazy.

Ethan and Liam were never seen talking before. I've always thought that there enemies. Boy, I was correct. It feels like they hate each other's guts.

When I saw them bump into each other once at school, they froze dead in their tracks and looked at each other's eyes with hatred and disgust. Then, the hallway got quiet  as students stop whatever they're doing to see the two 'hot guys' - as what the cheerleaders of Welsh High School say.

I seriously don't know what's up with their gap or distance.

I mean, everytime I imagine, they can be great friends. If only I knew why are they so distant to each other.

They have so much hatred for each other.

True. I mean, Liam got mad because I was just talking to Ethan. Nothing wrong with, right?

Right, I convinced myself.

Whatever it is, I am so determined for Liam and Ethan to reconcile - whatever that makes them hate each other.

Rule #1: A determined girl is capable of doing things she really wants. So watch out!
