Chapter 9: Azura Mall

Claire's POV

AZURA MALL

I gotta say, this mall is FANTASTIC AND AMAZING!

I'm here in Barnely Mall with my besties and Bliss and Keira. Jake have already made a few friends here in our town and so he's hanging out with new friends.

"Oh my gosh! I just spotted Forever 21!" Keira squealed.

Our heads snapped to where Keira's finger is pointing to, and found it!

"New destination: Forever 21!!" I announced.

"Yay!" us girls cheered and ran to our desired store.

I looked around the racks and spotted a high-waisted black pants. I'm getting this. I told myself.

I looked around and saw a baby pink vintage blouse. I smiled and went to the shoes' section.

As I look around, a pair of shoes caught my attention. White flats, just the way I like it.

I went over to the lingerie and saw Kelly and Apple buying some undergarments, hmm....might as well buy some.

I glanced over the undergarments hanged by a hanger. One set of undergarment caught my attention, white with baby pink polka dots. I took it and went towards Kelly and Apple.

"So, got everything you need?" I asked them.

"Yup."

We went to the counter and saw our besties holding clothes. We fell in line and when it's our turn, we paid for our clothes.

"Next top: TopShop!" Diana exclaimed.

We looked everywhere and saw TopShop besides Hollister.

"Hey....Eleanor Calder's favorite stores, right? Hollister and TopShop," Keira said.

I cocked an eyebrow, trying to remember. "Yeah, I think so."

Bliss nodded. "Yes, it is Eleanor Calder's favorite stores."

We went inside TopShop and dissipated to different ways. I reached the section for my age and saw different clothes.

I reach for a red turtle neck top and thought, perfect for christmas. I smiled to myself and saw black 3 inches boots. Perfect. Since I'm 5'6, 3 inches would make me a bit taller.

I saw a black fedora hat and took it. I then heard a little girl squeal loudly.

"Mom, can I buy this?" the little girl squealed.

"No, Lea. Will go to H&M, I promise, you can buy anything you want," a lady voice, who I think is the girl's mom said.

The little girl's voice toned down in dissapointment. "Okay."

The voices stopped and I think they went to H&M.

I then saw the rest of the girls and we went to the counter to pay for our clothes. 

"Next stop: H&M!" Diana squealed.

We went to H&M and dissipated.

I saw a floral dress. I smiled as my eyes dart over the soft cloth and flowery designs on the bottom part. I took the hanger of my desk and went to the ladies' shoes section.

My eyes lit up when I spotted a old rose ballet flats. I checked the price, $ 53. Hmm....not bad. I took the shoes and suddenly remembered something...

Old rose ballet flats and floral dress would look great with my gold heart-shaped pendant.

My mom gave that to me on my 14th birthday.

I smiled and went to the fitting room. I stripped down and wore the floral dress. It looks amazing for me, although I'm not sure what will the others say.

I wore the ballet flats and glanced at the full-length mirror that shows the reflexion of my whole body.

Great pair, I chanted.

I stripped down and wore my clothes. My phone started ringing from my handbag. Caller ID: Diana

I tapped on the green 'telephone figure' and answered the phone call. I was about to open my mouth to speak but was interrupted by Diana on the other line.

"Claire! Let's freaking go to the food court, I'm starving!" She yelled. I winced in pain because of her loud voice, destroying my eardrums.

I sighed. "Okay, okay."

"Humph, good. Go to cashier #5. Got it?"

I rolled my eyes. "Yes, ma'am."

I took my handbag and the clothes I'm about to buy. I rushed to the counters and looked for #5. Hmm...found it!

I paid for the clothes and saw my friends, specifically Diana, clutching her stomach in hunger. I giggled and went towards them.

"Let's go," I said.

They nodded. We went to the fod court and I heard my stomach grumble, I'm hungry. We fell in line of McDonalds and ordered our food we totally desire.

Holding our tray of foods and shopping paper bags, we sat on the chair and dropped the shopping bags beside our seats. I took a bite from my Big Mac and chewed it. I looked around and saw guys talking to each other with frowned face. My eyes met with a guy by accident, his frown immediately turned into smirk.

I quickly looked away and sipped a drink of Cola. I swallowed and just then, felt a tap on my shoulder. I stood up and turned around, my eyes widening in surprise.

It was the guy I accidentally met my eyes with. He smirked and took out his hand.

"Hi, my name's Ken," 'Ken' said.

I took his hand and shook his hands with him. I said in a strained voice, "Claire."

He looked taken a back because of my tone but recovered quickly. Someone looks like a playboy.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" He asked. Wow, straightforward much?

I shook my head. "No. But not available."

He's smirk turned to a frown. It's true, I'm not available...for him.

"Anyway, I gotta go," I said as I saw my friends finish eating their food.

We left the mall and wet home.

AN: Such a long filler, sorry. Next chapter would be Liam's and I want to tell you that.....there first day of school would be on maybe Chapter 14 or 15.

There'll be many things to go on, first.
