My eyes were blinded by white light and my nostrils were overwhelmed by a sterile smell. Beeps came from beside from a machine. Everything felt soms familiar but so foreign. My only guess: a hospital. As my eye lids fluttered open like butterfly's wings, my mind started to flood with anxiety. From there, I remembered what had happened-- what brought me here.

I started to yell, "Chris! Chris!"

    His voice calmed me, "Relax."

Chris took my hand in his.

"What happened after the I blacked out?" I asked after taking a few deep breaths. It's funny how deep, intentional belly breathing can do wonders for your system, even your soul.

He sighed, "I immediately called for an ambulance. I attempted CPR, but you didn't wake up...Erin you gave me quite a scare."

Then I remembered something else. I wasn't only one to be worried. I found the strength to ask softly, "What about the baby?"

For second I thought he'd tell me some news I didn't wish to hear.

Chris looked to the ground.

"Please tell me," tears were coming.

"We were lucky," he replied.

My heart ovetflowed a hundred times more with love and relief, "We were  lucky. I was crazy."

He chuckled, "Yes, you're crazy. I fucking hate you for it."

I laughed, "You hate your hormonal, crazy baby momma."

He shook his head, "No, you're more than that, Erin."

"What do you mean?"

"Ask me the way you did a couple nights ago."

"Hold up! I've been out for two days?"

"Yes. Just look at the bright side," he went into peace-making mode again. "Don't freak out."

I gasped, "Me freak out? Never!"

"Ha-ha! Now ask me."

I asked, "Chris, do you love me?"

Instead of saying anything, he kissed me. I knew without question. I knew without a single doubt.

"Yes, Erin Andrews," he told me with the biggest grin I'd ever seen. "I love you. I love all the crazy, beautiful parts of you."

I cried happy tears, "Damn hormones!"

He caressed my cheek and used his fingers to gently put a strand of hair by my ear, "The question is now is if you still love me."

I knew it was sarcasm, "Yeah. Damn it! I love you! I hate you! I love you! Some days I can't decide, but most of the the time I'm in love with you."

"You're crazy, Erin, you know that right?"

"You bet I do!"

I went in for another sloppy kiss and Chris ran his hands down my entire body.

"But I'm not the only one who's crazy," I smirked when we broke apart.

"Who's the other insane one?"

"You."

Chris chuckled, "I guess I'm pretty insane to love you. But romance can be insanity."

"But it's the best kind," I said.

I had to stay at the hospital for more monitoring. I was beyond relieved and content when I arrived back home. Chris came by more often and we'd discussed the idea of either moving in with each other or buying a new house.
