Chapter 27: David's Birthday

Liza's POV:
Everything is ready. Everyone is hiding and waiting for David to arrive. I can't wait to see his face when he sees everything. Someone shushes. I turn the lights off.
David: "Hello? Zane? Why'd you tell me to come to this random house?"
Everyone: "SURPRISE!!!!!"
David smiles and I go and put a sash on  him that says "birthday princess".
David: "Thank you everyone!"
Alex: "Don't thank us, thank Liza. She's the one that rented this house and catered chipotle for you and pretty much planned this whole thing."
David kisses me and I kiss back.
David: "Thank you so much baby."
Liza: "You deserve it! I love you."
David: "God I love you so much."
Heath: "LETS PARTY!"
And with that the music starts and people start to dance. Gabbie starts to twerk and Zane copies her. Big Nik and Corena dance by each other and talk and of course Dom is in the corner with a couple of other guys probably smoking weed.
I am startled when I feel a pair of hands grab my hips.
David: "Wanna dance?"
Liza: "Sorry I should go find my boyfriend." (Smirks)
He turns me around and we look into each other's eyes.
David: "I don't think he'll mind."
He runs his hands down my back. From my shoulders down to my butt. He squeezes and I gasp at his actions.
He takes this opportunity to kiss me. I kiss him back.
Liza: "Maybe he won't mind a dance or two."
David: "That's what I was thinking too."
We go to an open area on the dance floor. My arms around his neck and his hands on my hips. I don't want to toot my own horn but I'm a pretty good dancer. David not so much. He always feels awkward dancing. Especially next to me since I'm trained.
Liza: "Just follow my lead."
He nods and glances down at my feet.
I move my hips and he moves his feet in sync with mine.
Liza: "There you go."
Everyone stops dancing to go get some food. All the food better get eaten because that costed a lot. It doesn't matter though. It's all worth it for David.
The party was overall a success. Gabbie twerked, Big Nik snap chatted, Dom sold weed, Alex got to flirt with a bunch of girls, and David got to learn to dance. Tonight was a good night.
