Chapter XXII
Aiden took a deep breath before continuing,"I want you to move to Ireland with me. So I can be close to you and the baby. I know, I know it's a huge thing, but Tara take this from my perspective. You were my first, my first everything really, but I leave, not hearing a thing from you ever again, only to come back and find out your pregnant? It's life changing really! Now I'm not trying to pressure you in to it, take some time to think about it. I just want you to know that I want to be here for this baby. I don't want you to have to work, and you won't I have more than enough money. I mean Corie and Daniel are talking about it as well.. Maybe we can do the same?"
This was way to much to take in. I started to regret ever not telling him. This could have been a lot easier. Oh gosh and where did Asher go! He must be so angry with me!
"Aiden this is a lot to take in right now-" I ran a hand through my hair as he stared at me.
"I understand, I won't rush you."
"And gosh what did Daniel mean by mate? I wouldn't consider us friends." I say with wide eyes as I shook my head in disbelief.
Aiden chuckled lightly before he pursed his lips and raised a hand to hide it, "I don't think that's what he meant love, but that's something I would explain if you moved with me. No pressure."
I only looked at him curiously,"I'm so sorry."
He shrugged, looking back at my stomach.
"I mean yeah I missed seven and half months, but I'm here now, that's what matters, right?"
I nodded staring at him as he stared at my swollen stomach, "Do you want to fe-"
"Yes!" He yells hurriedly before blush and starting, "Yes please."
I gently take ahold of his hand, guiding towards my belly and placing it on the center between my ribs. The baby wasn't kicking at first, but as I pressed his hand harder on it, the baby did kick. His reaction was priceless.
Aiden jumped from his seat, "It kicked my hand!"
"He. You mean He kicked your hand." I say to him with a giggle.
"He? It's a boy? It's really a boy?"
I use a nod as my response.
"Wow. Wow that's so amazing." He looked at my stomach, awestruck,"Tara that's amazing. We're having a baby." He whispers the last part as he kneels on the bed, leaning in towards my stomach.
"Do you think he can hear me?"
"Yeah I think he can hear you, Aiden." I was smiling really big, I couldn't help it though, it was so cute his reaction.
"Hey little guy, I'm your dad!" The baby kicked him again,"Woah! You really can hear me. You're my next little Alpha." Aiden whispers the last part before kissing my stomach.
I ignored what he said about alpha something, as the same sparks I had the first night we met, spread throughout me.
"Shit!" I really needed to pee.
"Are you okay? Did I hurt him? Let me get a nurse real quick!" Aiden was up really quickly and almost out the door, before I grabbed his hand.
"No I'm fine I just really, REALLY, need to pee. I'm sorry to ruin the moment. It happens when it happens."
Aiden blushes but begins to help me out of the bed,"It's fine I got a whole other month and half to bond with him."
We make it to the restroom, and I close the door behind me. I did my business and washed my hands, before opening it up. On the other side was Aiden... And Asher, in a very heated stare down.
Asher broke it by looking at me, and he finally looked relieved," Tara, you're okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine. Aiden can I talk to Asher alone?"
"What?" He yelled disbelieving.
"Please Aiden.."
Aiden looked pissed,"Whatever you have my number when you decide you need me." And with that he stormed out of the door.
We were quiet, not really meeting each other's eyes.
"Hey." I say rubbing my left arm.
"Hey." Asher says back.
"So."
"Tara look, I'm not gonna be that guy that keeps you from doing what you feel is right and knowing you, you are going to want to let the baby be mine it's his father, and that's great. That's what you need to do, what you think is right. Forget about me, I'm gonna be gone soon anyway, I can't do anything for you. You need to leave me behind. I need to let you go. That's what I'm doing." He said with a nod, as if he was confirming it.
"A-"
"No don't say anything, you don't have to. I just want you to know that it was amazing, my time with you was amazing. It was everything I've ever dreamed of having with someone. So I wanted to thank you for that. Just forget about me though alright? You got your whole life ahead of you, Your's and this baby's."
Asher stepped forward, grabbing me by the arms, and placed a kiss to my forehead.
"I wish you the best Tara."
Then he walked out of the door, and out of my life, without looking back.
What the hell is happening to my life?

So like, I'm going thinking about just deleting this book, cause this is not how I wanted it to turn out.. It sucks, it's cliche, and I really don't like it...
