I looked up towards the pool windows and saw a very muddy Oscar frantically waving towards us. They must have just been at the assault course.
"Hey Rachel!" He shouted. I couldn't help but smile, and maybe drool a little.
"What a freakin' melt." Rachel groaned with a sigh and then jumped into the pool to avoid him.
"I don't see why she gets annoyed by him so much! Just look how gorgeous he is!"
"Are you forgetting that he is her twin brother, I don't blame her." Laura pointed out. "You are so ditsy sometimes Katie." She chuckled. I had to agree with her."HEY BOYS... SHOO!" Jenny shouted out of the bi-fold doors towards the boys who quickly scurried away. All of the girls just laughed and carried on swimming after they left.
"Come on Laura, please come in the pool." I begged her as I slid myself into the water.
"Fine, my knee still hurts though." Laura replied in defeat and followed me in.
"Your knee will be fine, it was just an accident."
"No it wasn't, she did it on purpose. You don't understand!" And with that, she got out of the pool in a huff and stormed off towards the changing rooms. I was a bit shocked by how much she had just snapped at me. Maybe I pushed her too far this time and maybe I should just tell her what's really going on.I didn't like keeping secrets from my best friend, but this time, I'd been trying to help her out. I suppose it had done more harm than good and I was jeopardizing my friendship with her.
I still planned on staying out tonight. I needed to see if I could dig up some information from Jane and her friends and after that I would tell Laura what I've been up to. She's getting too worried now.

I was so pissed with Katie. Before camp she hated Jane's guts but now she's sticking up for her and won't believe a word I say about her.
Rachel and I decided to spend the evening in our cabin, while Katie was out with Jane and her friends, she's being such a traitor.
"I can't believe she is being like this with you, it's not like her at all!"
"Mhmm." I agreed with her. "I just don't want to fall out with her, not when we have to spend six weeks together." I sighed.
"Just let her do what she's doing, she will eventually see that it's a mistake. From what you've told me and what I've seen, Jane doesn't seem like a very nice person." Rachel commented. We had told her all about Jane and how she had been over the years."I suppose you are right, I'm going to ignore it from now on and see what happens."
"That's my girl!" Rachel hugged me before running over to her bag. "Mean Girls or High School Musical?" She held up two DVD's in front of me.
"As much as I love Zac Efron, I'm going to go with Mean Girls on this occasion." I said pointing towards the DVD In her left hand.
"I was thinking the same if I'm honest, he looks so young in High School Musical, I prefer the Zac from Bad Neighbours." She continued as she fiddled with the DVD player and put in the disc, pressing the play button on the remote.
"Have you got Bad Neighbours with you too?" I asked excitedly. If you hadn't already noticed me and Rachel had a bit of a thing for Mr Efron. The trailers on the DVD had now started.
"I wouldn't forget something as important as that." She replied and waved the DVD in my face.
"We are watching that after Mean Girls." I squealed a bit too excitedly.Rachel had fallen asleep half way through Bad Neighbours but I continued to watch it. It was now half ten and Katie wasn't back yet. I got up and opened the window to let some cool air into the cabin, just as I was about to turn away I saw a light on in the cabin opposite and through the curtains there were three male shadows. Anyone could hear their banter and laughs from a mile away. I was so tempted to go and investigate but I had no idea who Oscar's friends were with him so that would be a tad awkward, and it's not like I was the most confident person in the world.
