The week dragged on, but I didn't see Norman. I was kinda avoiding him though. I knew I shouldn't be mad or feel the way I did, but it was hard. I felt like I was the other woman. The one he wouldn't leave his girlfriend for. I just hoped he would.
I was currently at work and doing my best so far to avoid him. I just felt akward. One minute he's with her the next he's hiding at my house. Then we are cuddling on the couch and almost in bed. What could I say to him? Tell him it was ok he left, that night? I wasn't looking frward to sleeping in the same bed as him. I wasn't hoping he would kiss me. I was though, I wanted all of them things.
I was heading to my car, I was going to slip away for lunch. Not that I thought Norman would come looking for me. He hadn't texted or called in the past few days. I was about at my car when someone yelled to me.
"Hey," I turned to see one of the guys, I wasn't sure what role he was playing. I had told Norman, when we started hanging out, I didn't want anything ruined. I wanted to watch it when it came out and be suprised like the rest of the world. He laughed and told me he wouldn't tell me anyways. I smiled at the an. He was tall with brown hair and blue eyes. I think his name was Josh, but I wasn't sure.
"Hi," I said with a smile. He was kinda cute.
"Hi," he kinda laughed. I smiled.
"How are you?" I asked. Not sure what exactly was going on. He smiled.
"I'm good, I'm sorry I didn't mean to come off weird. I just, kinda wanted to always talk to you, but your always busy," he laughed nervously. I smiled.
"Oh, umm, " I smiled.
"I'm Travis, by the way. I don't think we've really ever talked. He laughed again, a bit more nervous, it sounded.
"Stephanie" I smile. He smiled.
"Yeah, your usually hanging out with Norman. I was suprised to see you two separated," he gave a small chuckel. I smlied, it was weird for me too though.
"Yeah well ya know, " I said lowly, not sure what to say. He smiled, but I don't think he had ever stoped.
"So, what are you done for the day? Just leaving for lunch" he asked. I looked at him a moment.
"Going to get lunch," I said, with a small shrugg. He smiled.
"Umm, I'm awful with this. Would you like company?" He asked shyly. I smiled, I think he was trying to flirt with me, or just ask me out. I wasn't sure. As I watched him I noticed his face drop it's smile, he quickly recovered though. I thought it was odd until I felt a slight jab to my back. I went to turn around.
"Stay put missy," a low gravely voice said in my ear. I couldn't help it I smile, and turned around anyways.
"I don't remeber asking for a visit from Daryl. I believe it was Mac or Murphy," I said with a sly smile. Norman smiled.
"Girl ya never listen ta a word I say. Now I said stay put," he said still using his Daryl voice. I smiled.
"You gonna make me?" I laughed. Norman smiled.
"I could be persuaded," he said, opening his arms. I didn't hesitate to hug him. I think I squeezed him harder then I planned. He squeezed me back. "Ya miss me that my much?" He chucled. I smiled, I had.
"Meh," I said shrugging brushing it off. Norman smiled, looking up to Travis.
"Claimed," he said. Grabbing my hand. I looked at him.
"Did you seriously just 'Claim' me?" I asked, fallowing him. He didn't answer me, untill we reached his trailor.
"Yes I did," he said plainly, and we went inside. I sighed, well if I was going to be climed by anyone might as well be Norman.
"Well, I guess, who better right?" I laughed. Norman smiled at me.
"I did it!" He said, with a big smile. I made a face at him. Didn't we just cover that? Norman saw my face so he went on. "I broke up with Kate. I went home the other night, she just started laying down rules, I couldn't take it. She did just what you said she would. She told me I wasn't allowed to hang out with you anymore. I just couldn't do it. Listening to her go on an on any more. So I ended it. I fell better," Norman was smiling. I smiled, I did wonder though what took him so long to come find me.
"I'm glad your happy," I said. Norman smiled.
"Yeah, I didn't think I would be but I am," he said, we were sitting on the couch. I was confused by that last part. I thought he wasn't happy with her
"Why," I asked. He sighed.
"I don't know, thought I'd feel like an awful person. I don't though, I fell better, more free," he smiled. I gave a small smile.
"So not gonna rush in to another relationship?" I asked with a chuckle. He looked at me.
"Hell no! They are a lot of work, I'm gonna be single a while, maybe fine a pretty girl to hang out with," he smiled. I looked at him forcing a smile.
"Whatever makes you happy," I said. I was crushed again. He may have been single now, but I was no closer to the top of his list. He smiled at me giving me a little nudge.
"I think your pretty," he smiled. I bushed, it was hard not to when Noman Reedus says your pretty.
"Thanks," I said lowly, still smiling. He leaned in to me.
"Very pretty," he said moving my hair out of my face. My breath cought in my throat again. I was torn I wanted him to kiss me, but then again he just said he wanted to be single. Our little moment was interrupted, by a knock at the door so I have no idea what was going to happen. Norman settled back on the couch and I breathe again.
"Norman, I found someone who was looking for you," Andy said as he came in. I almost screamed. I didn't want another Kate incedent.
"Ohh?" Norman asked. As he got up.
"What the fuck Reedus ya can't answer your phone?" A man said. I sat up I wanted to see who had come.
"Oh well ya know, I was kinda busy, but you fuckers interrupted," Norman laughed moving aside to let Sean see me. I smile, Sean Patrick Flannery.
"Oh," Sean smiled he walked over to me. "Hello," he said offering me his hand. I smiled up at him.
"Hi" I said smiling. Norman walked over to us.
"You don't smile at me like that," he said. I looked at him.
"Reedus, I've known you for two months, why do I need to smile at you like an idiot?" I asked, forgetting Sean was there. I heard him laugh. Norman made a sad face.
"Don't know," he shrugged, but he looked so damn adorable doing it I felt bad. I sighed and hugged him, he smiled.
"Happy?" I asked Norman had a smug smile plastered on his face as he nodded. I sighed. "Honestly Reedus," I said. I heard Sean laugh again.
"Damn Reedusrine! I came to bring ya out, because of your break up, but I see ya moved on fast. No night of drinking and hooker required," Sean laughed. I looked at him. Then I looked at Norman who just smile.
"We aren't together," I said lowly. Sean looked at me.
"Darlin', what you and Reedus do isn't any of my business," he said with a smile. I thought that was great, if we did something. I looked at Norman, who just kept smiling.
"Norman," I said after a minute. He looked at me, wrapping his arm around me and pulling me close.
"Steph," he said pulling me close.
"Just let it go," he said lowly. I looked at him. Why did he want people to think I was his girlfriend or something? I sighed.
"Your impossible sometimes,"I said, Norman smiled. Sean was looking at us.
"So are you a model?" He asked. I looked at him like he was crazy.
"No," I laughed it off, "But thank you," I said, thinking he was just being nice. He made a face.
"Actress? " He asked. I smiled shaking my head.
"No, I work here, I'm hair and make up," I said. Sean looked at Norman then me he shrugged.
"Huh, well, as long as it's working for ya buddy," I said, Norman smiled, more.
"She's the best," he said after a minute. I gave him a look. I wanted to know what the hell I was doing for him, becuase we hadn't done a dam thing.
"At what?" I asked. Sean looked at Norman and then me. Norman looked at me making a face, I'm not even sure what it was.
"Um, you should know what your good at," Sean said. I looked at him.
"We haven't done anything, and last I knew we were just friends," I said. I didn't like the game of pretending to be his girlfriend. I wanted him to either man up and asked me out, or just drop it. Sean looked at Norman, who was looking at me.
"You didn't ask her out?" Reedustine what the hell?" Sean asked him. Norman looked at me, then Sean. I wasn't sure what had come over me. I should have just went along with his plan, but then again I wanted it to be real, and not pretend.
"I just," Norman shugged and I felt like an asshole. I sighed and shook my head.
"I'm sorry," I said as I decied it was time to leave. Norman grabbed my arm and turned me back to fsce him. Hugging me tightly, I hugged him back.
"Don't be, it's not fair to you if I lie to people," he said lowly to me. We let go and he looked at Sean.
"Ok, no she's not my girlfriend, but she is my best friend," he said proudly. I smiled. Sean smiled.
"Well, it's very nice to meet you," Sean smiled. I smiled.
"Very nice to meet you to," I smiled back. I looked at Norman, after a second. "Alright, well I'm going to get food, becuase if I don't I won't get to eat for the rest of the day," I said. Norman smiled.
"I'm starving, legs go!" He smiled. I laughed.
"Norman, your always hungry," I laughed, and we headed out to lunch
The rest of the day went well. By the time it was time to go though, I was exhausted. I had over heard Norman and Sean make plans for after work. I sighed, I was getting lownly. I hated going home after work. I guessed all good things must come to an end, and hanging out with Norman twenty four seven, was one of them. I went to my car, as I was unlocking it I heard someone yell to me.
"Hey!" I knew it was Noman's voice instantly. I turned to see him only a few steps from me.
"Hey," I said casually, he smiled.
"So I've been thinking. I don't think you should bring your car with you anymore when you come over. I know you said it isn't running well. So I figured you were comming to my place anyways. You can just ride with me, " he said smiling. I looked at him a minute.
"Umm ok, but I thought you had plans with Sean tonight," I said. Norman gave me a weird look.
"Yeah, he's comming over to hag out, but we haven't hung out in forever! I already told him you'd be there, he's fine with it," he assured me, I looked at him.
"That sounds like a guys nigh, do I belong at guys night?" I asked. He smiled.
"Yes, I'll always let you come," he said with a smile. I couldn't help but smile, and his words of me being pretty played over in my head.
"Alright," I agreed. "Let me grab my stuff," I said turning back to my car. I got out my purse, and phone. Then locked the car back up and turned back to Norman.
"Ready?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. We got in to his Jeep and started to go. I kinda was happy that I was leaving with Norman. "Scared?" He asked breaking threw my thoughts. I looked at him.
"Of what?" I aksed, confused. He laughed.
"Being kidnapped," he said, I smiled.
"Norman, I know you would never hurt me," I said with confidence. He smiled.
"Your right," he agreed. I smiled. When I was with him he made me feel safe, at home. I had never felt like that before. I was lost in my own thoughts most of the way to Norman's. I don't think he seemed to mind though, because he never asked me what I was thinking about, or if I was still with him. He just let me think. Hell maybe, he was thinking too. We made it to his house and I looked around, Sean wasn't there yet. I smiled, I liked spending alone time with Norman. All though nothing good ever happend, or when it seemed like something good was about to happend we always got interrupted. I felt a tap on my arm and I looked over to Norman.
"You ok?" He asked with a smile. I smiled back.
"Yeah, fine," I said. He smiled. We got out of the Jeep and went inside. We were quickly greeted by EITD.
"Hey Fatso, ya hungry?" Norman asked the cat that purred around my legs. I smiled and pet him. "He likes you," Norman smiled. I smiled up at Norman.
"I like him too" I said petting the cat. We then walked to the kitchen. Norman fed EITD. Then looked up at me.
"Thirsty? He asked. I smiled and nodded.
"Sure, I agreed. He looked in the refrigerator.
"I got beer," he said with a smile. I made a face.
"Have fun," I said. "I don't drink beer," I added making a face. He looked at me.
"Really?" He asked, looking at me like he had never heard of it before.
"Yeah, really," I laughed. He made a face.
"Well I got Jack," he smiled. I gave a small laugh.
"I'm good," I said shaking my head. He looked at me.
"Your not gonna drink?" He asked. I shook my head.
"I gotta work tomorrow, "I said. He looked at me confused.
"So your not drinking tonight?" He asked. I shook my head.
"No, I'm one of them if I drink I'm gonna get drunk, and if I get drunk... Well I'm not going to work the next day," I said shrugging. He smiled.
"Bet your fun when you're drunk," he said stepping tward me. I giggled.
"I might be, but I usually end up sick, so probably not," I said making a face. He chuckled.
"We that last part probably isn't, but I bet before that happends you are," he laughed. I smiled, with a shrugg.
"You may never know," I laughed. He arched an eyebrow at me, moving closer.
"Never say never," he said lowly. I loved when he moved close to me. I wanted something to happen this time. His hands went to my hips and his thumbs made soft circles on them. I almost moaned it felt nice to be touched like that. I couldn't take my eyes off Norman as he smiled at me.
"My baby girl likes that?" He asked lowly. I nodded slowly. "Say it," he said in his gravely voice.
"Yes," I breathed. He smiled.
"What else does my baby girl like?" He asked. My head was too clouded to think. He smiled kissing the side of my head. God I was starting to love that too.
"Norman," a breathy moan escaped. I wanted more.
"Say it baby girl, tell me what you want," he said waiting. I closed my eyes. I wanted so may things. I opend my eyes to see him still smiling. He hadn't moved. He was waiting for me to to tell him. Tell him what? I wanted to date him. I wasn't just in to one night stands? His rubbing at my hips was making it hard to think. Making it hard to remeber I didn't do one night stands. Just then Norman growled and pulled out his phone.
"Hold that thought baby girl," he said as he answered the phone.
I didn't hear who it was or what they were sayng, because I was so busy trying to figure out what was going on. Was he trying to sleep with me? Was he flirting with me? No! I pushed them thoughts out of my head. Norman Reedus didn't date girls like me, he didn't sleep with girls like me. He slept with super models, he dated super models. Not small town girls with no hope of anything.
I went out side to smoke a ciggarette and clear my head. It was never going to happen. Norman and I. I needed to stop lying to myself. Stop getting my hopes up. He was an actor. I wasn't anything. He could never find me pretty. Sure he called me pretty, but he was just being nice. He was rebounding, that's it! He had just broken up with his girlfriend. He was looking for a rebound. I sighed, that made me feel good. Not! I turned to see Norman smiling at me from the back door.
"Mingus says hey," he smiled. I smiled, although I was crushed that I was the rebound choice.
"Well when you talk to him again you'll have to tell him I said hey back," I smiled. Norman came over and pulled me in to a hug.
"You sure your ok? You been distant," he said lowly. I looked up at him.
"Distant?" I asked. He nodded.
"Yeah, avoiding me for the past few days. I get it Kate was here, but how do u think that made me feel?" He asked, I looked at him.
"I'm not sure, because I thought you'd of wanted to spend time with her. I'm sure she didn't want me around," I said stating what I really though. He made a face.
"No, not really. I know she didnt, but I do," he said. I sighed looking up at him.
"She's gone now, so I guess I'm your's," I said with a slight laugh. He smiled.
"Been waiting to hear that," he smiled. I laughed. He pulled me close again for another hug. I loved his huggs. I loved his sent. I loved being near him. He kissed the side of my head.
"Come one, let's figure out dinner," he said with smile. I laughed as we walked inside. Norman holding my hand. I didn't question him. "What do you want?" He asked. I shrugged.
"I don't care what ever you want," I said standing by the counter. He smiled.
"I want Mac and cheese, but I don't know any place that delivers that, " he said. I smiled at him.
"I don't know if your picky about how its done, but I can make it home made," I said. Norman smiled bigger at me.
"Really?" He asked. I giggled.
"Really," I answered.
"I think we have to go to the store," he smiled, gabbing my had again, and leading me out to the Jeep. I laughed at him the whole way there.
"What about Sean?" I asked as I got in. Norman smiled.
"He texted and said he'd be a bit, but I told him we are getting dinner," he said with a smile. I smiled back at him.
"Ok," I agreed. We drove to the store, and Norman did most of the talking. I loved listeing to him, when he was excited about something, he talked fast. Right now he was excited about the photo shoot he wanted to do on Saturday with me. I smiled, I didn't see what all the fuss was about me, but it was Norman. We made it to the store and I waited for him to finish talking. When he did I looked at him.
"Did you want me to go in? Or do you wanna go?" I asked. He looked at me.
"Why can't we go in together?" He asked. I looked at him.
"Umm what about people talking?" I asked. He looked at me with a smile.
"Come on," he said as he got out of the Jeep. I sighed, in two months he hadn't changed. He till would avoid my questions. I got our side the Jeep and Norman was waiting for me at the back of it. I made my way to him and he was quick to take my hand. I looked at him, and he smiled, but didn't say a word. We walked in to the store and he grabbed a bssket.
"What do we need?" He asked. I smiled.
"Cheese," I laughed. He gave me a look.
"Ok smart ass," he said as we walked to the aisle with the cheese. I smiled at him.
"What kind do you like? " I asked. He looked at me.
"Cheese," he said plainly. I rolled my eyes,
"Fine be a smart ass," I said as I grabbed a large brick of cheese and some shredded cheese. He smiled.
"Ok, now what?" he asked. I smiled. We went threw the rest of the store and got what we needed. Then we made it to the register. I placed the things up on the conveyor belt, as Norman flirted with the cashier. God did it bug me when he did that. Why? Why did I feel so jealous when he flirted with other girls? He wasn't mine, he was never going to be mine. I walked around him to grab the groceries. When the bag boy smiled at me.
"Would you like some help out to your car miss?" He asked. I smiled at him. He was cute, and way more in my league. I was just about to answer him when I felt a hand on my lower back.
"She's fine, " Norman kinda growled. I looked up at him and smiled. Then smiked at the bag boy.
"Thank you, thought, " I said politely. He gave me a small smlied. We went out to the Jeep and put the groceries in, then got in ourselfs.
"Do guys always act like that?" Norman asked. I looked at him.
"Friendly?" I asked. He made a face.
"You call it friendly, I call it despite. That guy was practically throwing himself at you," Norman made a face. I smiled, if I didn't know any better it sounded like he was a jealous boyfriend.
"Well thank you, for saving me from that attractive man throwing him self at me," I giggled. Norman made a noise.
"You thought he was attractive?" He asked sounding annoyed. I giggled.
"He was, I mean I am single right?" I asked. Norman looed at me.
"I guess, unless your not telling me something," he said. I laughed.
"Sweetheart, I'm with you practically from the time I wake up till I go to bed. When do I have time for a boyfriend and what guy is ever going to be ok with that?" I asked. He looked at me.
"I'm fine with it," he said. I laughed.
"Ok then I guess I'm dating you," I joked. Norman looked at me again. I wasn't sure what that look was all about. I couldn't make it out. "I'm kidding, and no I don't have a secret boyfriend," I said kinda annoyed. We had pulled in to his drive way by this point and Noman turned to look at me
"You act like you don't want me to be you full time boyfriend," he said. I looked at him this time. Oh, I did, believe me, I did!
"If I didn't why do I spend so much time with you?" I aksed as I got out. Norman didn't ever answer me as me walked inside and to work on dinner. I started to noodles as Norman helped me cut up the cheese. We talked untill Norman was bored of helping and he started playing on his phone, but the conversation never died. Norman had gotten in to the beer and was on his third one. As I fished putting the mac and cheese in to a pan to go in the oven. Norman came up behind me and held me.
"You know your beautiful right?" He asked in to my hair. I giggled at him.
"You know your drunk right," he kissed the side of my head.
"No deffenatly not, just wanted to tell you that," he said burring his head in to my neck. I giggled and squirmed.
"Norman," I laughed. He laughed. By this point I was turned around facing him.
"Humm?" He asked with a smile. I smiled up at him still in his arms.
"What are you doing?" I asked. He smiled at me more.
"What do you think?" He asked. I giggled.
"I don't know that's why I asked," I giggled again. He smiled down at me.
"Telling you you're beautiful," he said plainly. I looked up at him, still smiling.
"Why?" I asked. He smiled down at me.
"To make sure you know," he said. I smiled.
"Thank you," I replied. It happened again. Norman leaned in close to me and I watched him. He looked like he wanted to say something, his lips were slightly parted. All I wanted to tell him was to kiss me. I waited, nothing. Then it looked like Norman moved his head closer to mine. I started closing my eyes.
"Reedustine! We're the fuck are ya?" Sean yelled though out the house. I opened my eyes annoyed. As Norman looked down at me. He leaned in and kissed my head.
"Kitchen!" He called out. I tried to move out of his arms. He hesitate a second and then let me go. I moved to the other side of the kitchen, checking on my mac and cheese.
"The fuck took you so long to answer?" Sean yelled as he walked in. I didn't turn around. I heard him say "oh" though, so I figured he saw me. Norman was quick behind me arms around me again.
"Is it cooking?" He asked I looked up at him.
"No, we put it in the oven, but its not cooking," I said making a face at him. He made another one at me.
"Such a mouth," he said lowly. "I bet you've never had a good spanking," he added with a more evil smil. I looked up at him
"Ohh you gonna do that?" I asked. Norman stepped back. "Reedus!" I squeeked. He smiled pulling back in to a hug.
"Ya know I'd never do that," he said kissing the side of my head. I smiled.
"Mmmh," I hummed at him, still smiling.
"Are you two sure there's nothing going on?" I heard Sean ask. I looked over to him. I had forgotten he was there. I blushed, I guessed to anyone else this looked funny, but I was completely normal for us. Norman pulled me closer.
"This one's mine, go find your own!" Norman barked. I giggled, Sean smiled.
"Ohh, I wouldn't fight ya for her," Sean said putting his hands up. Norman still held me untill Sean backed up a but. I looked up at Norman who smiled down at me.
"So beautiful," he said and walked to the refrigerator to get another beer. I looked over at him, with a smile. "Here," he offered me a water. "I don't know what else you drink, your welcome to anything in there, it's not much though," he said looking in the refrigerator and handing Sean a beer.
"Thanks," I said.
Dinner was done and we all gathered around the table and ate. Norman insisted it was the best food he had ever eated. Sean agreed it was good. I thanked them both. I wasn't sure how much beer was in that refrigerator, but it wasn't too much longer and I'm pretty sure Norman was drunk. I was loading the dish washer when he came behind me.
"Your so beautiful," he said in my ear. I smiled.
"Your so drunk," I said with a giggle. He turned me around a bit rough pushing me against the counter.
"I mean it," he said. "Your beautiful," he looked me dead in the eyes. I couldn't look away, his eyes were on fire.
"Thank you," I said lowly, blushung. He leaned in and kissed the side of my head.
"Your gonna stay right?" He asked after a minute. I looked at him.
"Where?" I asked. He smiled.
"Here, tonight, with me," he smiled. I looked up at him.
"Reedus you are drunk, because you know I'm not sleeping here," I said laughed. He smiled bigger, leaning in close to me.
"But I kidnapped you," he laughed. I smiled shaking my head at him.
"Go sit your drunk ass down before you fall over," I smiled. He leaned in closer, his face inches from mine.
"Mmmh, can't wait to get you in my bed," he said lowly. I looked at him. He then looked like he was going to kiss me.
"Reedus! Stop scaring the shit outta that poor girl!" Sean barked. Norman looked up, I saw him make a face at Sean. He then walked over to him. I let out a sigh and finished filling the dish washer. I had just started it when someone came behind me. I turned, but I didn't see Norman as I exspected.
"He's on the couch. He says he needs you to go to bed," Sean shrugged, I shook my head.
"Like a little kid sometimes I swear!" I said with a laugh. Sean laughed too.
"He does seem to have a thing for you," Sean said. I looked at him.
"I ment he's spoiled," I siad lowly. Sean smiled
"Who keeps giving in to him though?" Sean asked. I sighed. We made it to the living room and Norman was half asleep on the couch. I smiled at him shaking my head.
"Ready for bed?" I asked with a small laugh. His face lit up, and he nodded sheepishly. I giggled. "Come on," I said. Norman stood up and together we walked to his room.
"Your pretty, are you gonna sleep in here with me?" Norman asked. I laughed
"Good try, but no, I'm going home," I said as he sat down on the bed. Norman took off his shirt and kicked off his shoes, then stood up and started undoing his belt. "Norman! Can't you wait till I leave?" I asked, turning away in time for him to drop his pants.
"Why?" He asked I didn't look.
"Ok well I'll see you tomorrow, I said turning tward the door. I was suddenly pulled back. Letting out a squeek. I was in bed with him as he held me.
"Stay," he said in to my hear. I felt his hand on my hip, and it slid up to the hem of my shirt.
"Norman!" I wiggled to get away from him. He let me go laying on the bed looking up at me. "Go to sleep," I said lowly. Hes eye's had become heavy again.
"Just stay," he said lowly. I smiled, he was adorable sometimes.
"I'll see you in the moring," I promised. He smiled.
"Alight," he agreed his eyes slipping shut. I smiled. I turned to look at Sean in the door way smiling. I put my fingure to my lips and we walked out.
"You are deffenatly different, Reedus can talk any girl in to bed. I mean the man was naked and pulled you in with him," Sean laughed. I looked at him shocked.
"He was naked!" I really hadn't been paying attention. Sean laughed.
"Yeah Reedus just seems to manage to get naked when he drinks," Sean laughed more. I shook my head.
"Well, I guess I'll just call a cab," I said not really sure what to say to that. Sean looked at me.
"How'd you get here?" He asked.
"Reedus," I said lowly. Googlin a cab.
"Oh I can bring you home, or to your car," Sean off, ered. I smiled.
"That's sweet of you," I said. " let me grab my stuff and make sure everythings all set to leave. I checked the stove, it was off the dish washer was going, and EITD was curled up on the couch. I smiled as I shut the lights off as we walked threw the house to the door.
"You do all this for him and you two are just friends?" Sean asked as I made sure the door was locked. I looked up at him in the dark on the porch.
"Yeah, why not?" I aksed. I'm pretty sure he was smiling.
"Nothing, come on," he said. The ride was short and we made it to my car. I thanked him as I got out. Sean said he'd wait till I got in. I thanked him again, and got out. I opend my car door and got in. I went to start it, but nothing. I waited and tried again. Click click click. I sighed. A tap came at my window and I looked up. It was Sean.
"Everthing ok?" He asked. I sighed.
" It's not starting again," I said with a sigh. He looked at me.
" I know a little about cars, want me to look?" He offered. I smiled.
"Please, thank you!" I smiled as I poped the hood and I got out holding my phone up for a flash light. Sean looked at a few things and I really gave no idea what he did but after a but he shut the hood.
"Come on, I'll take you home," he said, I made a face.
"Is it Dead for good?" I aksed. He nodded. I grabbed him a paper towel to wipe his hands with and we headed out.
"Sorry about that, how longs it been giving you trouble?" He asked. I sighed.
"Awhile, I was just hopping it would last a little bit longer untill I could afford another one," I sighed.
We made it to my apartment and I thanked Sean again for everything. He smiled and told me it was no problem and he was glad to have met me. He hadn't seen Norman this happy in a while. I smiled and went inside. I sighed when I got in. My car was dead and Norman was confusing me.
Then I realized it was that cinfusing. He was drunk I was a girl. He was horny and I was there. That was it. End of story, and again I felt like a dumb ass. I sighed as I crawled in to bed. Why did I keep letting myself think Norman was intressed in me? I pushed the thought away as I tried to get comfortable and sleep, maybe I should have taken that drink, I thought. It was going to be a long night.
