Another couple weeks had passed, and  we were getting ready to head to the hospital for the ultrasound. Norman had been so excited the night before he had bearly gotten any sleep. I watched him rush around trying to get ready, this morning, as I got dressed. I had beat him up, and tried to get him to take a shower with me, but to no avail. He just rolled over, asking for ten more minutes. I giggled as I sat on the bed and put lotion on. He made a face at me.
"Bet you think you're so funny," he growled playfully, as he pulled a shirt on. I smiled at him as I tried to lotion my feet.
"If you would have went to bed last night, and got up this morning," I growled, fighting to reach my foot. He chuckled at me.
"Want help?" He asked,  I looked up and shook my head.
"You know I hate people touching my feet," I said finnaly getting lotion on it. I wasn't, very big, but my belly was deffenatly in the way of every day tasks. Norman smiled and shook his head.
"Your, so weird," he laughed as he finished putting his belt on and came to kiss me. I scowled at him. "I'll be back, feed EITD, you want a shake or something?" He asked. I shrugged, giving him a quick kiss.
"Do we have bananas left?" I asked. He shrugged.
"Don't know. I'll look," he said. I smiled and with that he was gone. I went to go get shoes out of the closet, when I heard Norman's phone got off. I watched it, it was a text. I waited, he must not have heard it, because he didn't come back. I bit my lip contemplating, if I should look at it. Curiosity got the better of me, again, and I opend the phone and looked at the drop down menu. Sure enough it was her.
'Hey, we are all set, can't wait to sh........' was all I could read. I sighed as I closed the phone. He was still seeing her. I knew he was, but it was when I saw messages from her, it hurt. I wondered what she could wait for. To see him probably, got knows I loved being with him. I fought back the trears, because I didn't want to ruin my make-up, or make Norman start questioning me. I found my shoes and put them on, just as I was getting ready to head out Norman came back in.
"No, bananas," he sighed. I nodded.
"It's fine," I said,  lowly taking the shake from him. I looked at him. I couldn't help but wonder if he did the things for her that he did for me. Kiss her sweetly, tell her she was beautiful, cuddle. He smiled at me.
"You ok?" He asked. I nodded slowly.
"Fine," I shrugged it off. If I thought like that I woud surely cry. Norman pulled me in to a kiss.
"Your so beautiful, I love you so much," he said hugging me. I pulled him tighter.
"I love you too, come on," I said. He kissed my head and we started walking out of the room. Norman stopped half way down the hall.
"Shit, phone," he said as he hurried back. I sighed slowly as I waited for him. He took a moment and as usual when he was texting her, he can back with a big smile on his face. I tried not to notice, I hated trying to ask, becuase he always lied and said it was work, or he was just happy. I knew better though,  I knew it was her, she made him happy. I just hoped I still made him happy.
We headed out, in silance, I wasn't sure what to say. All I could think about was her. Them meeting up at some hotel, him kissing her, and loving her. I started crying with out even realizing it. Norman squeeze my hand.
"What's wrong?" He asked alarned. I looked at him shocked, I wiped my tears away. Trying to think of something to tell him.
"I just don't want to go home, next month," I lied. He shook his head and pulled my hand up to his lips kissing it.
"Believe me, I don't want you to go," he said lowly. I almost couldn't hold back my laughter. I couldn't believe him, not with him messaging her.  I nodded instead, taking a deep breath.
"I can't wait until October," I said lowly. Norman chuckled.
"I can't wait for breakfast," he said, to lighten the mood, I'm sure. I smiled at him. Of couse he couldn't wait to eat, I shook my head.
"Hurry up! I laughed. He smiled as we pulled I'm to "Burger King" he ordered a for himself and then for me, and we were back on the road again. He was driving and inhaling his food. I looked at him.
"Your going to choke. If you would have gotten up we could have stopped for breakfast," I said handing him his drink. He smiled over at me quickly, and then looked back at the road.
"Naw. besides, I'd rather have breakfast on the run, and have been able to spend last night loving you," he chuckled. I smiled, but shook my head.
"You're impossible, just don't choke and die. I need you to help me with this baby," I laughed. He smiled.
"Fine, promise I won't die," he chuckled, but slowed down eating. I sighed as I looking at my breakfast. It wasn't what I wanted, or what the baby wanted. I wrapped it back up and put it in the bag. Norman watched me.
"We don't want it," I said closing my eyes.
"Are you ok?" He asked, I shook my head.
"No, I feel sick," I said, as I felt like I was going to throw up. Norman was quite a few minutes.
"Did you take your pill?" He asked. I sighed, remebering that I hadn't, I was too busy trying to get him up.
"No," I said lowly, feeling the nausea take over. "We have to pull over, like now!" I said covering my mouth.
"Fuck! Shit! Hold on!" Norman growled as the car jerked, and horns started honking at us. We made it to a stop and I got the door open in time to empty the contents of my stomach. I sighed as I laid my head back on the seat, and waited. I knew I wasn't done, but for the moment it had passed. Suddenly a car pulled up beside us. Norman growled and swore under his breath. I looked over to see a police car. The officer got and Norman rolled down his window. The man looked at Norman and the me and my stomach.
"Officer?" Norman asked. The officer looked back at Norman.
"Mornin' sickness?" He asked, nodding tward me. Norman nodded.
"Yeah," he said. The officer smiled.
"We went threw it with my youngest," he said. I couldn't hear any more of what he said, becuase my head went back out the door and I started dry heaving. When I came back up, the officer and Norman were taking a selfie. I looked at them and rolled my eyes. Norman smiled, the officer said goodbye and Norman got back in the car.
"Make a new friend?" I asked lowly, still feeling awful, Norman chuckled
"Yeah, well he said he wouldn't give us a ticket if I gave him a picture. Now I think that's a fair trade," he chuckled. I nodded, closing my eyes.
"I'm glad," I said. I was exhausted, being sick made me that way. All I wanted to do was sleep. Norman reached over to me, and placed his hand on my stomach.
"Now behave in there," he said, athorative. I smiled over to him.
"You think that will work?" I asked, he smiled as we pulled out of the rest area.
"Probably not, but with a shot," he chuckled, I smiled more.
The rest of the ride sucked, I felt nauseous, but with nothing more in my stomach I couldn't throw up again. I spend most of the rest of the time, between being awake and asleep. I opend my eyes when we got there and groaned.
"I don't wanna," I whinned like a child. Norman leaned over and kissed my head.
"Come on, I want to see him!" He said excitedly. I shook my head.
"Do you have any cash?" I asked, Norman looked at me and dug in to his pocket.
"Three.." he counted "seventy dollars," he said holding it out to me. I smiled.
"I just ment like enough to get a water," I smiled. He smiled back.
"Buy you seventy dollars worth if you want," he chuckled. I shook my head as we made it in th hospital and I found the vending machines. I bought a water then Norman bought one, I looked at him.
"You might need another one," he said, as I took a drink trying to get the nasty tast out of my mouth.
"Arn't you sweet," I smiled, Norman smiled bigger.
"Only for you," he said. I rolled my eyes. I knew he was just a sweet person in general. He grabbed my hand and we headed to check in. It wasn't long of a wait before we got in, I was happy about that, becuase I really had to use the bathroom, but my blatter had to be full.
"How are you today?" The technician asked. I smiled weakly.
"Good," I said. Norman smiled, and helped me up on the bed, she smiled at us, as we got situated.
"That's good, now do you want to know the sex of the baby today?" She asked. I smiled at Norman, and he smiled back.
"Yes, if your able to see," I said. She nodded.
"Well let me see what I can do. I just need to take some pictures of the heart and lungs, an things like that, to make sure the baby is growing properly," she said as she squirter the jelly on my stomach. I smiled, as she started, there was a tv monitor infront of us, that let us see the baby. I gasped as I first saw, our baby. Norman sat farward in his chair beside me.
"Well as you can see that's your baby," she smiled. I bit my lip trying not to cry. "Is this your first?" She asked. I nodded.
"Well mine," I clarified, she nodded.
"Wow, look how beautiful he is already," Norman commented, I giggled. Norman held my hand as she took her time, going over the baby from head to toe, making sure everything was perfect. She would point out things too us like the litter foot or heart. Finnaly she smiled.
"Alright, looks like I've gotten everything, now for the sex," she said. As she moved her wond around. I looked up at Norman and smiled, he smiled back.  "Alright, I'm proud to tell you, you exspecting a little girl," she said, pointing out the girl parts. I couldn't help myslef as I started to cry. She smiled.  "Good news I assume?" She kinda laughed. I nodded.
"Truthfully I am just happy she's healthy," I said with a sniffle. Norman smiled.
"Well look at that reverse phycology worked," he laughed. I shook my head. After we had our pictures and I got to use the bathroom. We were on our way out. We were pulling out when Norman stopped for traffic.
"So," he said. I looked up from my pictures.
"Yeah?" I asked still smiling. He smiled as we pulled out.
"Do you want to try and eat something or go look for baby stuff?" He asked with a chuckle. I sighed, I was hungry, but I really didn't want to get sick again. As I was deciding, my phone rang. I thought I was odd as I answered it. I was a recording from the pharmacy telling me I  had a refill ready. I smiled and hung up.
"To the pharmacy!" I exclaimed.
"For?" Norman asked. I giggled.
"My pills are ready, thank god! I knew I was getting low. I'm so glad I took the automatic refill option," I explained. Norman smiled.
"Me to, then do you want to go get some food?" He asked, I nodded.
"Yes please! I'm starving," I said. He chuckled, again.
"And what would you two like?" He asked. I smiled.
"Chicken," I said. He looked over at me quickly.
"Chicken?" He asked, I laughed.
"Yeah, I've been craving Chinese food something awful," I laughed. Norman shook his head.
"Aright," he agreed. then his phone went off.  He looked down at it and back at the road. I took the chance to see if he'd let me look at it.
"You want me to see who it is?" I asked. He was consetrating rubbing at his chin.
"No, its fine, I'll check it when we get there. They can wait, I'm with you," he said. I nodded, but my heart sank, of couse he wasn't going to let me check it.
"Alright," I agreed. We made it to the pharmacy and I got out of couse he would check it as soon as I was out. I tried to put the thought of 'her' out of my head. I got my pills and headed back to Norman. I saw him smiling wide at his phone as he typed away. I wanted to cry, but I got in beside him and decied to take my medican insted. When I was done I looked over to him.
"Good news?" I asked as I saw him still smiling, I wonder if he even knew I came back.
"Ohh, just Andy," he said, setting the phone back down, and starting the car up. "So, Chinese?" He asked, as we headed out. I nodded. Truthfully I had lost my appetite, but I had to eat.
"Ohh shit, I need cigarette's," he said, as we pulled in to a gass station. "Want anything?" He asked. I nodded.
"Mt Dew?" I asked, he smiled and got out of the car. I figured that would give me enough time to look at his phone, if he didn't take it with him. He didn't, as he walked away. I waited for him to get inside, and I quickly picked up the phone, watching for him and looking at the phone. Sure enough it was messages from 'her'.
"Mr. Reedus, your a tough one to please, but I'm sure I've gotten everything you wanted :)' she texted.
'That's amazing! Your amazing!! I can't wait! I'm so excited!' Norman  answered. I closed the messages and put the phone down. I sighed as I looked at my phone. What makes her so amazing?! I wanted to know, as I serched the Internet for anything. If Norman was cheating it would surly be on line. Right? I came up empty though, and Mingus never said anything about it again, so I assumed Norman was being extremely causous about this. I bearly noticed him get back in as he handed me my soda and I jumped.
"You ok?" He asked with a slight chuckle. I looked up at him a second.
"Fine," I said, after a moment. He looked at me confused.
"You sure? If you still don't feel well we can go home," he offered. I shook my head.
"No, I'm fine, just spaced out," I lied, well not really, I was really lost in thoughts about 'them'.
"What's up? Is something bothering you?" He asked, as we pulled out. I took a deep breath, I wanted to ask about her. I just didn't want to lose him. I loved him.
"I love you," came out of my mouth. He grabbed my hand.
"I love you," he answered. I looked up at him.
"I mean it," I said, annoyed that he answered like it was out of habbit.
"Me too," he said.
"Your not getting rid of me. I'm here for the long haul. I know the age difference scares you. Your afraid one day I'll realize your old or something. I'm well aware of it, I  don't care. We are having a baby. I know that doesn't mean that we will be together forever, but it doesn't mean I don't want to try for forever. I don't want your money or anything, if something does happen. I want you forever and for always," I confessed, trying to get him to see, that he was making a mistake. We pulled in to the restaurant,  and Norman looked over at me, quietly.
"Baby, I know all this. Don't you worry your pretty little head about us. We are going to be just fine," he smiled and leaned in to kiss me. I smiled, it also made me wonder why he didn't ask why I was so paranoid. "I understand your hormones are making it hard for you not to go crazy, but believe me nothing is going to happen," he said still smiling. I started to cry, the fact he could lie to my face, made me feel so stupid. He wasn't replacing me just getting some on the side. He pulled me in and kissed my head. I nodded there wasn't much else I could do, unless I wanted to bring her up.
"I'm glad," I choked out, it was all I could do. I was pathetic, I was so in love with this man, I was letting him hurt me again, and I was taking it. He helped me wipe my tears and we headed in the restaurant.
The rest of the day was great, Norman bearly spent any time on his phone, and she didn't message him again. We picked out a crib, bedding, changing table, bassinet, and swing for the baby. I was so excited when we paid, and they said they would deliver tomorrow.  Norman agreed that was alright, and we headed out.
"I'd say that went well," he said as we started to go. I smiled.
"That takes care of all the big things," I agreed, he nodded.
"I'm glad too they were able to make the order for up home too. Now when you get there don't worry about getting the crib and stuff up. I know you will want to, but when I get there I'll put all that stuff together, and don't be moving anything. I know the last few months your going to want to clean. I'll take care of the heavy lifting when I get home," Norman reminded me. I made a face.
"Fine," but I'm sure I can put things together," I argued. He chuckled.
"So stubborn," he said still chuckling. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm pregnant not helpless," I reminded him. He shook his head.
"I know," he said. I remember Mingus saying his mom wanted to be apart of the baby too, if I was ok with it. I didn't see why not. I had nothing against her, and I wouldn't mind getting to know her better.  I figure now was as good as any to bring it up to Norman.
"Helena wants to help," I said. He looked over at me.
"Ohh?" He asked, I didn't know what to make of that.
"Yeah, Mingus said, she wanted to, if I didn't mind. I don't, I have nothing against her, and she is Mingus's mom," I said. I watched Norman as he looked straight ahead.
"That's completely up to you. If you don't mind, I don't, " he said, watching the road. I smiled.
"No, I don't mind. I actually like the idea," I said, hoping one day I'd be as ok with 'her' as Helena was with me.  It was quiet for a while and then Norman looked over to me as we got off the highway.
"She's a good person. We were just young," he said lowly. I looked over to him.
"What?" I asked, he rubbed at his chin.
"Helena," he said lowly. I smiled and shook my head.
"I don't need to know. It really had nothing to do with me," I said brushing it off. It's not that I didn't care, it just happened before I was even old enough to know Norman. He nodded, as he looked ahead.
"Alright," he agreed. I grabbed his hand, he looked over at me with a smile. The rest of the ride to the house was quite, Norman was in his own little world.
I was lost in mine, thinking about us, and "her". Maybe one day I would want to get to know her, like Helena was with me. I also wondered how it would happend. Would he slip up, and call me her name? God, I hoped it wasn't when we were making love, that would kill me. Or would he call to her in his sleep, I could probably just pretend I didn't hear him. I just never wanted it to happen. Norman squeezed my hand and made me jump.
"You alright?" He asked. I nodded.
"Fine, just was thinking...." I trailed off, I needed to come up with something to think about.
"Ohh yeah?" He asked. I nodded.
"Can we paint the baby's room?" I asked the first thing I could think of. He laughed at me.
"Of course we can, if you want to pick up the color when you go to your next doctors appointment or I can have someone come in and do it," he said, smiled.
"Don't you wanna know what color I want to paint it?" Iaughed. Norman smiled, as his phone went off again. My eyes went to it, and I  could feel my heart breaking.
"What color?" He asked without paying attention to it. I took a deep breath, and tried to stay focused.
"Lavender," I said, looking at the phone. I saw him look at me from the corner of my eye.
"You ok?" He asked again. My eyes darted up to look at him.
"Fine," I said with a light shake of my head. He nodded slowly. "Should I see if that's important?" I asked cooly. He looked down.
"Na, one of the most important things in the word to me I right here, and Mingus has your number," he said, still looking ahead. I smiled weakly, as he brought my hand up to his lips and kissed it. I just smiled. I may be one of the most important, but I knew that's not why he didn't want me looking at his phone. My phone started to go off and I looked at it. Norman let go of my had so I could answer it.
"Told you Mingus would call you," he laughed. I smiled to see it was Mingus and I answered it.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey, so I've been looking and I've come up with nothing. I can't find her anywhere, are you sure the name is right?" Mingus asked, in a rush. I waited.
"Positive," I said. He sighed.
"You with dad?" He asked. I smiled.
"Yep," I said, he was such a smart kid.
"Aright, well I see nothing. So what are you two doing?" He asked. I realized he didn't text Norman if he had no idea we were together.
"He didn't tell you?" I asked. There was a short pause.
"No, what?" Mingus asked. I looked over to Norman who was smiling.
"Fiurged you'd like to," he said, still smiling.  I smiked and shook my head at him.
"We went to the ultrasound today," I said.
"Ohh cool," Mingus said. "Is it a boy or girl?" He aksed trying not to sound excited. I giggled.
"What are your thoughts on a baby sister?" I asked. There was another pause.
"Alright, I'm ok with it," he kinda laughed. I smiled and shook my head.
"Cool," I said, really not sure how to counter that.
"Alright, I'm going to tell mom. If that's ok, she wanted to know," Mingus waited, for me to answer.
"Yeah, I don't mind," I said.
"Cool, oh, and we can talk later about that other thing," he said. I nodded slowly, hating the idea.
"Alright, sounds good. Talk to you later," I said, he said good bye and we hung up. Norman looked over at me, as we were pulling on to our road.
"What he have to say?" He asked, I almost didn't hear him. I was looking  down at my phone lost in a picture of Norman and I, when I first found out I was pregnant. He was holding me from behind, his hands on my stomach. We were looking up at each other smiling. It was perfect, or was it? Was she around back then? I wondered.
"Stephanie," he said again, and I snapped back to reality.
"Huh? What sorry," I said looking at him as we pulled in to the drive way. He smiled at me as we parked, and then leaning over to kiss me.
"One of my favorite pictures too," he said, lowly. I smiled, and kissed him again.
"Yeah, your adorable," I said clicking on the power home button and having my screen light up again. He was smiling, but he was also making a face. I wasn't even sure if he knew he did it. Norman looked down at the phone.
"I don't know what picture your looking at. I look awful, I was talking about the beautiful girl. I love her so much, and I hope she knows it," he said, talking down at the phone. I smiled weakly, how could I believe he loved me when we was going around seeing another woman?
"Of course she knows. I just hope he knows she doesn't ever want to have to live with out him," I said, as I started to cry. I couldn't help it. I wanted him to know, I needed him. I knew it might raise questions, but I loved him just that much.
It wasn't for his fame, or his money, or the way her looked. It was becuase in the year I had know him. He was the sweetest most charming and amazing man in the world. Not only was he a great lover, but he was my best friend too. I had spend so much time getting to know him in the beginning,  falling in love with him just happend. Sure I liked him when I ment him, I thought he was handsome and funny. Now knowing him I realized he was way more then that. If I needed a shoulder to cry on, he was there. If I need someone to talk to, he was always willing to listen. No, for me it had never been about the fame or money,  it was about the man.
"He does," Norman answered lowly. "Come on," he said as he got out. He lit a cigarette and I walked to the porch. He fallowed, staying a fare distance behind me. EITD found us and meowed, I smiled as I decied to head in and feed him. I had grabbed the mail on the way in, and was looking threw it. There was two letters from Norman's bank, with both out names on it. I looked at them funny, nothing ever came in my name, unless I had ordered it off line. I brought it out to Norman who was sitting enjoying his cigarette.
"What are these?" I asked showing him the letters. He reached for them.
"I don't know, have to opend 'em," he said handing them back to me. I looked at him funny.
"Why is my name on mail from your bank?" I asked. He shrugged, but smiled. I opend the first envelope and pulled out the paper work inside. I opend it to reveal a bank card with my name on it. I looked up to Norman and showed him the card. He smiled at me.
"Figured it was easier then you havein' to ask me for money all the time," he said leaning in and kissing me on the cheek. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Norman..." I started to protest, but was cut off by another kiss, to the lips this time.
"Now, I don't want to hear any sass missy," he said sternly. I had to smile, when he talked like that it sent shivers down my, and I wanted to play with his Mac side.
"If I do will Mac, make me behave?" I couldn't resist asking. Norman cocked a crooked smile.
"Sorry, baby girl, Mac's on lock down untill after you give birth," he said, I stuck my bottom lip out, making a pouty face. He chuckled.
"Now, las if ya be'ave, maybe ol' Murph will come see ya," he chuckled killing me with his Murphy voice. I cried out excitedly.
"Take me now," I said stepping tward him. He chuckled again.
"Ya like t'at las, ya want me ta, make ya be'ave?" He asked in a low tone. I nodded.
"Yes, baby," I said as sexy as I could. Norman smiled and leaned in to kiss me again. I couldn't help it, I was already turned on, wich didn't take much, and he was taking his time. I tangled my figures in his hair and he grabbed my ass. We parted after a while and he smiled, and looked around.
"Come on, before this ends up on the Internet," he kinda laughed pulling me inside. I knew it was true though. To many times did our outings end up online for the world to know what we were doing, and where we were. I knew Norman loved his fans, and being one of them. I understood the want to meet him, but some didn't know when not to bug the poor man. So may of our dates were interupted by fans, wanting a picture or to just sat hi. I could tell sometimes it annoyed Norman as well. As he would apologize as soon as they were gone. I was use to it though, and I never let him know it bothered me, after all I was the luckiest fan in the world, but sometimes it was hard to just go out and have a meal.
We made it inside, and were heading to the bedroom, talking and kissing. When Norman's phone went off again. I pulled away and walked ahead. He didn't ask me where I was going, as I made it to the bedroom first and laid down. I was tired anyways, so if it happend that he got called in to "work" I was prepared. He came in with that stupid smile on his face, as he was staring at his phone.  I wanted to ask him what was so great on that phone when his girlfriend was in bed waiting for him. Actually why didn't I? Hormones too over and my jelousey got the best of me.
"What's got you all smiley?" I snapped. He looked up, like he had forgotten about me.
"Nothing," he said smiling still, and setting the phone down and crawling in beside me. I looked at him annoyed.
"Oh come on, who ever it is has to be pretty interesting to make you smile like that," I said, just hating this woman I had never met. He looked at me lost.
"Baby, I'm sorry. I know I'm addicted to my phone sometime, but it doesn't make me love you any less. Look here I'll put it on silent," he said turning the sound off. I felt like such a bitch.
"I'm sorry," I said starting to cry. "I didn't mean to act that way," I told him. He smiled, leaning in and kissing me.
"No, it's ok. I started something with you, and I should have ignored the phone," he said, playing with the hem of my dress. I giggled, and bit my lip.
"It's ok, baby," I said melting like puddy in his hands. He smiled, and leaned his head down to my dress and pushed it up exposing my thighs.
"No, no, let me make it up to you," he said seductively, as he tenderly kissed at my flesh.
"Oook," I moaned lowly at his hot wet kisses.
Another week had passed, and Mingus and Helena were coming down to visit. I had told Mingus it would be nice to do some pictures of me pregnant. He agreed and said his mom was really excited about it. I smiled, at least I would have something to hang in the baby's room, considering I couldn't decide on a theme. The room had been painted, the things delivered. Norman had set some of it up when he had the extra time and he wasn't tired.
I was home alone, today, as I waited for Helena and Mingus. I wondered how weird it was actually going to be having Norman's ex stay with us. I really hadn't thought it threw well. I sighed as I turned on the TV looking  for something to watch, to pass the time. I went to the DVR and saw another 'Say Yes to the Dress' had recorded. I thought it was odd, considering I had deleted the timers for it. I figured Norman must have put it back on there. I decided to watch it, but I would delete the timers again and tell him I had done it.
I sighed, as I started the show. It sucked, knowing we may never be more then this. With the girl on the side I wasn't even sure why we were this. I should confront him and leave. I couldn't do that though, as I felt the baby kick, I knew she needed her father. Not that I would keep him away from her, but in reality I needed him too. I shook my head. I was pathetic, the way I put up with this. Why didn't I have the balls to leave? Or to at least confront him about it. I didn't know I just knew I would deal with it, just to he with him.
I heard the front door and thought it was odd. Norman didn't tell me he was coming home early. Mingus hadn't texted me and told me they had landed. I quickly paused the tv and got up. Walking out to see who it was.
"Norman?" I asked. He popped around the corner.
"Yeah?" He asked looking confused. I smiled with a sigh of relief.
"You didn't tell me you were coming home early," I smiled, and we shared a kiss. He smiled and stepped aside.
"I found this kid, and he wanted to come home with me. I told him my girlfriend might like him," Norman laughed reviling Mingus. I smiled and was so excited I hugged him.
"I think she likes me," Mingus said, I smiled more pulling away and wiping away my tears.
"Shut up!" I laughed playfully slapping his arm. He smiled.
"I miss you too Steph," he laughed. I cried more.
"It feels like forever, you look older," I blubbered. He smiled and shook his head. Norman pulled me in to a hug.
"Don't worry, he's here untill we go back to New York, then he'll be around to visit," Norman said as he stroked my hair. I cried more and pulled away, to go back to hug Mingus.
"I'm sorry, I just missed you," I said, feeling him stiffen, unsure of what to do. He laughed as he patted my back.
"There, there," he said lowly. I smiled and pulled away.
"Do you want something to eat?" I asked he smiled and pointed to the take out box of Toco's. I cried more, as I looked at Norman.
"I didn't want you to have to cook," he said, aparently reading my face.
"But who's going to cook for him?" I cried.
"Don't worry Steph, I'll be hungry later," Mingus said. I smiled at him.
"See, he gets it!" I cried. Norman looked  very confused, but smiled at me.
"Come on, let's get you some food," he said as he took the box from Mingus and we walked in to the kichen. Norman set the food down and I got the plates.
"Now what do you want?" I asked Mingus.
"Couple taco's," he said. I got him out three and smiled as I set the plate down infront of him.
"Anything to drink?" I asked, turning to catch him throw a sly grin at Norman.
"What do you have?" He asked.
"Orange juice, Apple juice, Mountain Dew, Coke, Milk, whatever you want," I said with a smile.
"Ohh I'll have some coke," he said. I smiled as I got it for him and took it to him. Norman watched me.
"Do I get waited on like that?" He asked. I looked at him.
"No," I siad getting my food. He made a face.
"Hey! I made that little shit, where's my love?" He asked, I knew he was kidding though. I smiled at him.
"You already got enough look at at me," I said pointing  to my stomach. He smiled, and came over and kissed me.
"Mmhm, is that so little miss sassy pants," he laughed. I smied, and we kissed again.
"Wait, what happend?" Mingus asked, I gigled as I turned away from Norman.
"I can't help it, he's cute," I giggled.  Mingus rolled his eyes.
"If you two keep it up, I'm going to have a lot more brothers and sisters," he laughed. Norman cocked his mischievous half smile at the idea.
"No," I said, with a giggle, he scrunched up his face.
"You did say, if you had one kid as good as Mingus, you'd have ten more," Norman reminded me. I looked at him, confused.
"When did I...." I trailed off, I remebering the conversation. "Ohh, well... Let's just get this one here," I said, trying not to laugh. Norman smiled at me.
"Alright, if you say so," he said taking a mouth full of toco. I smiled back at him, and looked at mingus.
"Hey where's your mom?" I asked, him. Mingus smiled, finishing the toco he was trying to swallow.
"She's going to come tomorrow. She had some stuff to do in New York," he explained,  I nodded.
"Alright, cool," I said, kind of relieved to have another day to think about this. Mingus smiled at me.
"Are you still worried about my mom?" He asked, with a small chuckle. I looked at him a long moment.
"What, no. I'm not stressed out at all about having my boyfriend and his ex super model wife in the same house," I said sarcastically with a small laugh. Mingus chuckled at me.
"No?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. I smiled more making my eye twitch a little. He laughed at me
"No, what makes your think that?" I asked trying to sound serious. He laughed again. Norman pulled me in to a hug.
"Baby girl you have nothing to worry about. We have been separated a long time, and I love you. There's no need to stress yourself out. Besides, Helena likes you," he said with a smile. I sighed, it didn't matter if she liked me. He was already cheating on me. I mean would it be cheating if he decied to with his ex too? I guess it would be.
"Yeah," I agreed lowly. Norman smiled, when his phone went off. I pretend not to notice as I started eating my toco. I saw him look up from it.
"I have to go, make a call," he said, and walking out of the room. I set my food down and pushed my plate away. I saw Mings watching me, I looked up forcing a smile.
"I assume he does that a lot," he said. I looked down, taking a deep breath.
"Yep, when she textes, he usually disappears. He has to go to 'work' or take a phone call," I said lowly, but odviously annoyed. Mingus nodded.
"I've looked all over the web. I can't find anything," he answered lowly. I sighed again, when Norman talked to her it made me physically ill, I was starting to feel nauseous.
"There's no name, just a number. The only way I know her first time is becuase she put it in the message," I said, going to get  some  water, to hopefully help my stomach. He sighed, and was quite. Norman came back in the room, with a small smile. I waited for him to tell me he had to go to work again. He came over and kissed my head, and hugged me.
"I hate to eat and run," he said. I sighed, knowing what was coming.
"But you have to," I said. He looked down at me, sadly.
"Yeah, got called in for something," he said lowly, kissing my cheek. I nodded, I knew he was going to see her, it was odvious. I could smell his cologne, freshly applied.
"Ohh dad, can you help me real quick before you go?" Mingus asked. Norman looked at him, setting his phone down and fallowed him. I quickly grabbed up the phone once they were out of ear shot and opend his messages, screen shot in what I could and sending them to myself. Then deleting it all. I heard Mingus talking loudly, as I set the phone down and picked up my own.
"What was the point of that?" Norman asked annoyed. Mingus shrugged.
"I thought I'd need help," Mingus answered. Norman threw him a look of confusion.
Huh, ok.. Alright baby girl, I love you," he said kissing me before he turned to Mingus. "Behave," he said. Mingus shrugged, and Norman was out the door.
"What was that?" I asked, after the Jeep left the driveway. Mingus smiled at me.
"A diversion, did it work?" He asked. I shook my head and smiled.
"Yeah, I was able to get a screen shot of the conversation and send it to myself," I said picking up my phone. Mingus smiled, as he leaned in to listen.
"She writes 'Norman, things couldn't be going better. I'm excited to see you and show you what we talked about. I have to say I personally think you will be quiet satisfied, by what I've gotten in store for our next meeting,'" I said looking up at Mingus. He made a face. "Your dad says. 'You are too amazing! Don't worry she doesn't suspect a thing! I can't wait to see! I know, I'll be satisfied you haven't failed me yet!'" I read, looking back up at Mingus.
"Wow, Steph... I'm sorry I didn't think my Dad would do something like this," he said. I sighed.
"There's more," I said. He nodded. " she writes. Can you come see me now? Or call me to discuss.' Your Dad says 'Give me a few. I'll her I got called in again. Meet you at the same place,'" I finished setting my phone down. Mingus looked upset.
"I don't get it, he's always been the one who got done wrong in his past relationships. Why is he doing it to you?" He asked angrily. I shook my head.
"I have some ideas, you might not want to hear them," I said. He looked at me.
"Steph, I'm seventeen," he said, acting grown up. I smiled at him.
"Maybe, it's just while I'm pregnant.  There are things, that pregnant women can't do," I said lowly looking away.
"So maybe he should rent a porno!" Mingus yelled angrily. I shrugged.
"I don't think it's the same," I said lowly, looking up at him briefly. He growled in frustration.
"I know, but seriously!" He growled again. I sighed.
"No sence in getting upset. I have been wrestling with what do sence I found out. I sighed, as I wrapped up my uneaten toco and threw my half eaten one away.
"Me getting upset, your the one who's not eating," he said. I looked at him. He was right.  I smiled faintly at him.
"I know, but I just can't stomach food when I know he's gone to see her. It affects me, but I'm the one who's chosen to stay. I mean I love him," I said biting my lip. Mingus sighed and nodded.
"You don't deserve this though," he said lowly. I sighed, just as my phone went off. I looked at it to see it was Norman. I was confused, he never texted me when he was with her. I opend the message, and read it. 'So yeah, it's working good, she does whatever I ask. I have no complaints about this one.' he messaged. I looked at the messgae. I didn't think it was for,  or about me. I sighed, as I closed the message.
"What is it?" Mingus asked, reading me. I sighed, as I took another drink of my water.
"He just texted someone and said it was working well, he had no come complaints with this one. Not sure if it was about me or not," I said with a sigh. Mingus shook his head.
"I'm really sorry," he said lowly. I nodded, at him. It wasn't his fault, I'm the one who stayed. Then his phone went off. "It's Dad, he wants to know if you got a weird message from him," he said. I sighed, as I picked up my phone and delete the message.
"No. Tell him no," I said lowly. Mingus watched me with a pained expression. I tired to fight back tears, god I needed a drink. He texted Norman and looked back at me. "Why?" He asked. I raised an eyebrow at him.  "Why do you stay?" He asked. I shrugged.
"I love him," I said, my voice broke and a few tears slipped down my cheek. He shook his head.
"I don't know if you should still, in this situation. Usually it's my Dad who's getting hurt," he paused.  "I like you Steph, and I'm glad your not like the other girls. I just don't think you should stay, of he's going to do this," Mingus said, looking sad. I smiled weakly and bit my lip.
"I have no money, right now... I'm also hoping that once I have the baby this will all be over," I said my voiced strained. I wanted to believe maybe it would end, but I knew in my heart it wouldn't.  He nodded, slowly and looked down at his phone.
"Dad said of you get a weird message, it was for someone else, about work," he said, I nodded.
"Alright," I said with a sniffle. "I'm going to go sit, you wanna come. I'll let you watch sports. I just need to relax," I said, grabbing my water and going to sit down.
I sat down and Mingus fallowed, he grabed the remote and turned the tv on. I was exhausted, my head was killing me. I closed my eyes for a second. I  opend my eyes, to a farly dark room, a light from down the hall, was the only light I could see. I looked up at Norman who smiled down at me.
"Good evening sleepy head," he chuckled. I smiled up at him. I sat up and reached for my phone. He smiled holding it up to me. "Looking for this?" He asked. I smiled and nodded. He handed it to me. "I tried texting you a few times, I got worried when you didn't answer. So I finally texted Mingus, he said you passed out and he didn't want to bother you," Norman said. I smiled "I came in to see your phone on the kitchen counter," he said sitting beside me. I set the phone down not bothering to even look at it. It was him I wanted, I pulled him in to a tight hug. Norman let out another chuckle as he held me.
"I love you," I told him. He pulled back enough to claim my lips. He tasted like Jack and cigarette's. When we parted all I could do was rest my head on his chest. If I looked at him I might cry.
"I love you like the ocean," he said. I looked up at him, slight suprised. That's what he told Mingus. I smiled, he knew how to make me fall for him every time.
"I love you, like the ocean," I said with a smile, and starting to cry. Norman smiled and pulled me in to another kiss. It was hard and I could tell he was in a mood.
"Really? I walk away for like five minutes and you two are making out on the couch?" Mingus complained. I giggled as I pulled away.
"Your Dad said the sweetest thing," I smiled looking up at him. He chuckled and reached over beside him, he pulled up a small bag. I looked at him, he smiled and kissed me quickly.
"I love you like the ocean," he said again. I smiled and he handed me the bag. I looked at him and then back at the bag. "Open it," he said still smiling. I went to say something, but he kissed me again. "Don't give me any lip," he growled, but smiled. I smiled and shook my head. Opening the bag, there was a velvet box inside. I opend it carefully, and inside was a charm bracelet. I smiled at him and kissed him again.
"What's this for?" I asked, looking at each individual charm. There was two hearts linked together, and infinite sighed, a baby carriage, and a little black cat. I smiled and  cried more. Norman pulled me back in to another hug.
"Because I love you," he said kissing my head. I blinked away tears.
"Do I even want to know how much this cost?" I kinda laughed,  looking up at him. He smiled and shook his head.
"No, but I know I've been running to work all the time, even when I'm supposed to be with you. I'm really sorry. I know you must get loney, and miss me. You never say anything though. You deserve more then I could ever give you, for sticking aroud," he smiled, my heart melted.
"Normy," I said as I hugged him.
"You could just get her a ring," Mingus chirped in. I looked over to him suprised. He shrugged, at me.
"Well arn't you just full of ideas," Norman said, I smiled up at him. I knew it would never happend, but to know Mingus was on my side was a plus. Norman kissed me again. I  smiled at him, I couldn't be mad at him and he knew it. I also wondered if this had anything to do with the text I received earlier.
"I love it baby and I love you. Believe me, I knew what I was getting in to when I decied to go out with you. I just wish I could have stayed at work longer," I smiled Norman did too.
"So you're not mad at me?" He asked. I shook my head and smiled at him.
"Why would I be mad at you?" I asked, Norman looked down at me.
"I'm always so busy. I feel like your always waiting for me. I don't want you to feel like your last on my mind," he said. I looked at him. Truthfully, I never thought I was last, maybe not first, but not last. I shook my head at him.
"No, I know your busy. I've never felt like I was an after thought, though. I will admit I always miss you like crazy when you're gone," I said. He smiled and kissed me again.
"I miss you like crazy when I'm gone too," he said. I heard Mingus scoff,  we both looked at him.
"You two are making me sick," he said walking away. I giggled at him.
"Don't worry we love you too!" I yelled with another giggle. I heard Norman laugh.
"Night!" Norman yelled after him.
"Yeah yeah, Night!" Mingus yelled back before he shut his door. I giggled again.
"Rude, didn't even say I love you back," I laughed. Norman smiled at me.
"Good luck! Sence he's gotten older, he don't say it as much. You really care for him though," he said. I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah he's a good kid," I smiled. Norman was holding my hands still and I felt his thumbs rub circles on them. I looked down at our hands.
"You really are one of a kind," he said. I looked back up at him and he kissed me. It didn't last long, but the hunger was still there. "Come on, I'm not done," he said standing up and helping me up. I smiled at him.
"You never are," I laughed. He smiled back at me as he led me to our room.
"Watch it," he growled lowly, but was still smiling. I giggled at him.
"What are you going to do about it?" I asked, pressing my luck. He smiled, sitting on the bed and pulling me down on his lap. His lips on mine, his hands already finding there prize. At the moment was my breats. I moaned in to out kiss as he started messaging the first one. We parted for air and I looked at him. If he had been at work, like he said he was, he'd want a shower. Besides if he was with her, I didn't want to do anything untill he was clean. He looked down at me.
"What's wrong?" He asked. I looked at him confused. How did he know? He chuckled at me. "I can read your mind," he laughed kissing me again. I giggled.
"Don't you want to shower first?" I asked. He looked at me and growled.
"You gonna come help me?" He asked with a chuckle. I smiled, thinking it would be a nice time to see if anything from Christmas still fit me. I shook my head.
"No, I'm sure you can manage," I said. Norman looked at me and made a pouty face.
"Please," he asked kissing my neck, I giggled.
"You go shower and I'll get... More comfortable," I said slowly. He raised an eyebrow at me.
"Ohh?" He asked. I giggled more, I could feel his length pushing in to my leg. I got up and smiled.
"Come on, go," I said. He made another sad face but when off to the shower. I smiled as I went to the closet and looked threw my things. I found a white outfit. I looked at my growing stomach. "A little late for that," I giggled, to myself, as I placed a hand on my stomach. I found a black one, then a red, finnaly I found the purple one I wanted. I quickly undressed and slipped the sexy little nighty on. I looked again, and found the stay hard stuff I bough for Norman. I wanted him to remember that just because I was pregnant didn't mean I was dead. I smiled as I found some massage lotion and went to the bed.
I set the stuff on the side table, just in time for the water to go off. I smiled, as I jumped in to bed and laid there casually. Norman came out in just a towel.
"There happy? Whoa!" He smiled as he came over to me. "God, you are so sexy," he said lowly, gently running his fingers along my thigh. I smiled at him, as I sat up on my knees and kissed him. We parted and he picked me up and sat on the bed, putting me on his lap.
"You like?" I asked shyly. He smiled bigger.
"No," he said. I looked at him, like he had just stabbed me. He leaned in and kissed me hard, and then pulled away. "I love," he clarified. I let out a sigh of relief, as I pulled him back in to another kiss. I reached over to the side table and grabbed the lotion.
"I know you don't have all night, but I kinda wanted to take some time," I blushed. He smiled and kissed me yet again.
"I'll stay up all night loving you and still go to work. So whatever you have in mind baby girl, you just go ahead," he said. I smiled he really was amazing. I crawled off his lap, and behind him. I squirted some lotion in to my hand and started rubbing his back. He let out a low moan. As I moved up to his neck and sholders.
"Mmhm fuck, baby girl you know how to treat me," he said reaching behind himself and pulling my lips to his. I giggled as we parted.
"I love you," I said, as I continued to rubbed his shoulders. He nodded, odviously enjoying it. I didn't get to spend too long,  pampering him, becuase he finnaly turned me around and helped me out of my nighty. I smiled as we parted from our kiss.
"Can't you just enjoy yourself?" I giggled, Norman smiled at me.
"I am, but I want you to enjoy yourself too," he said innocently as he took lotion in his hand and started rubbing me down. He was rough, and soft at the same time. I moaned lowly.
"God your right, this does feel amazing," I said as I enjoyed myself. I heard Norman chuckle.
"Yeah. I should do this more often for you. I know there's a lot of things I should do more often, but I just never think of it," he said lowly, as he kissed at my shoulder. I turned around.
"Hey, you try, and that's all I ask for. Really I've never been happier," I confessed. He looked at me skeptical.
"What about with what's his name?" He asked. I made a face wondering who he was talking about. Then it hit me he ment Travis. I shook my head at him, looking at him in disbaleaf.
"What? Travis, was a sweet man, but Norman I have always wanted you!" I said trying to get threw to him. He smiled at me and pulled me in for another kiss. As his hands went to my panties and helped  me discard them. I was quick to help him with his towel. He laid me down and left sold wet kisses all over my body. I giggled and blushed at him. He licked his lips.
"So fuckin beautiful!" He growled he kissed me again, and started playing with my brest. I arched my back loving how he made me feel. Then he pulled away, kissing at my neck, I moaned as he found my sweet spot, licking, nipping and sucking at it for a moment. Then he moved down to my brest and flicked the first one with his tongue. Sending chills up my spine and making my back arch, and a small moan escape my lips.
"Love how sensitive to are," he growled playfully, as he started sucking on my breast gently and playing with the other one. I moaned lowly at his treatment. I was also enjoy my Hightend sensitivity. After a bit he moved to the next brest, loving it the same and then down my body. I loved the hot wet kisses he placed on me as he moved down to my awaiting center. He smiled as he reached my waist, kissing at my sensitive flesh long and slow.
"Fuck Norman!" I cried out, he chuckled at me and continued to slowly move his kisses down to my thighs. Licking, sucking, nipping, anything to make me moan and wiggle in want. Finnaly he came back to my lips.
"Are you sure your ready?" He asked kissing me hard. I nodded as we kissed and he pulled away with a smile.
"Yes," I panted lowly.
"I don't know," he growled, gently ghosting his fingers down my body.
"Ooh. God!" I cried as he every so lightly touched my heat. Then he pulled his hand away.
"No, not yet," he smiled, as he pulled me in for another kiss, and started teasing my body again. I tried desperately to find some sort of comfort from his teasing, but he was relentless. Finnaly I didn't know how much more I could take.
"God, Normy, baby, please!" I wimmpered, he looked down at me and smiled. As he danced his hand down my body to my center again. He every so gently rubbed at my outer lips, just above my nub. I cried out, he kissed me as he slowly slid his fingers in to my wet folds and started pumping it. I bucked my hips against his fingers, desprite for my release. He stopped, pulling his finger out of me and slid it in his mouth.
"Mmmh, tast so fuckin good," he growled. I smiled up at him as he moved down between my legs and started loving me, again. I moaned lowly at his treatment and felt my release coming on quickly. I had all I could do not to squeeze his head with my thighs. Finnaly, pleasure riped thew me and I rode out my high. Norman came up and kissed me. I took the chance to push him over and crawled on him. We parted and he smiled up at me.
"Mmhm, this is sexy," he said lowly as his hand squeezed my ass. I smiled as I leaned down and started kissing his neck, then down his chest and down his body to his awaiting length. I smiled up at him as I gently licked his tip, and then started taking him in my mouth.
Quickly finding a rytham, and playing with his balls. Norman growled and moaned, as he let me take my time loving him, but as usual all to soon he was pulling me off and back to kiss him. I quickly reached over to the stand and grabed the stay hard, as I squirted some in my hand and started rubbing him. He broke our kiss and looked at me.
"What's that?" He asked with a slight smile. I smiled back at him and kissed him again. He pulled away. "Stephanie?!" He growled. I giggled at him.
"I said I wanted to play," I smiled as I lined myself up with him and pushed myself down on him. He growled out as I started to move.
"Alright, but you're going to be begging me to stop," he laughed. I smiled. It was true, the first time we used it, I wasn't pregnant and I was exhausted, by the time he finished. I figured now though I was pregnant and I was alway horny.
"I'm pregnant this time, I think it will be quiet enjoyable. Norman smiled as he leaned up for another kiss. After a bit he smiled at me and stopped moving. I looked down at him confused.
"Hold on," he said, as he motioned for me to get up. I did and he got off the bed. I watched as he grabbed a pillow and threw it on the floor and then knelt down on it. "Come here," he said I crawled over to him, he smiled. "Lay down with your ass as close to the edge as possible without falling off," he said. I did as I was told and he slid in to me again and started moving. I liked this new position.  Then after a while we changed potions again. I smiled every time we did something new. I was now on my hands and knees, Norman behind me, I could feel myslef ready to burts. I sat up on my knees and pulled him in for a kiss as we rode out my climax. He smiled as we changed potions ahain.
"I love that you're pregnant, but there are so many other things we could do if you weren't," Norman panted as continued to move. I smiled at him kissing at his chest.
"I know, but this feels amazin," I said as he moved just a bit faster. He smiled at me and kissed my lips.
"Guess we have a life time to try them other ones," he said, as he started moving faster. "Baby girl," he groaned. I smiled as I felt myself building up again, and I knew he was almost there too. I nodded at him.
"Yeah," I panted lowly, as his hand went down to my center and started rubbing at my nub. I sucked in air as I felt myself tighten around his length. Norman pulled me in for a kiss as we rode out our finish together. Panting I laid down on the bed, Norman smiled over to me.
"That was fun," he smiled, as I wiggled my way in to his arms. He smiled at me.
"Very," I agreed kissing him quickly.
"Don't get to comfortable. I need a cigarette," he laughed. I smiled as I burried my face in his neck. I heard him chuckle.
"Stay here with me," I whinned. I felt him pull me closer.
"Fine, I'll lay with you untill you fall asleep," he said. I smiled as I pulled myslef closer, if that was possible, as my eye's grew heavy. Norman kissed me gently, and I smiled fighting sleep, but as usual, Norman's warmth and loving hold, put me out.
Norman woke me up the next morning with a kiss to my lips. I smiled at him as I turned away. I heard him chuckle at me.
"I have to go, just wanted to know of you wanted to shower with me, but I guess not," he said. I growled, he knew how to get me going in the morning.
"Fine, but for the record, I'm exhausted," I smiled and got up. Norman pulled me in to his arms.
"Me too," he said kissing me. "But God it was amazing," he said as his hands ran up my body. I moaned lowly, as I reached behind him and grabbed his ass. I heard him growled, but I flet him harden. He turned me to face him. "Still wanna play?" He asked, I smiled and nodded leaning up on my tippy toes to kiss him. He kissed me back.
"I love you," I said, when we parted.  He smiled  down at me.
"Like the ocean," he whispered. I smiled, and nodded.
"Like the ocean," I repeated. I smiled up at him, he was amazing, how he made me love him so much I would never know. We got in the shower, and quickly washed each other up. Then he backed me against the wall, kissing me hard. He had just started his loving on me when a knock came at the door.
"Dad? Look sorry to interupt, but mom's here," Mingus yelled. I looked at Norman and he kissed me quickly.
"Ok!" He yelled to Mingus. "Sorry baby," he said I smiled and kissed him again.
"Don't worry about it," I said with a smile. We got out and headed to the bedroom to get dressed. I found some sweat pants, and a shirt. I looked at my self in the mirror. I fround, I  didn't want to look lazy. I started to undress, when Norman came behind me.
"What ya doin?" He asked kissing my head. I sighed.
"I don't want to look lazy," I said feeling silly. He chuckled pulling out a sun dress. I smiled and kissed him.
"Thank you hun," I said. He smiled and shook his head.
"She doesn't care how you look," he laughed. I scowled at him. He laughed harder. I walked away and slipped the Dress over my head. He came back over and kissed me.
"I mean she's a super model. I feel like I should try a little," I said, knowing I sounded stupid. She was a super model, she was beautiful. I was a hair dresser, there was no comparison. Norman made a face at me.
"Really? Your just as beautiful as any super model," he said hugging me. I smiled, but rolled my eyes. Just then Mingus knocked again.
"Hello?!" He asked. Norman smiled at me quickly kissing my head.
"Come on," he said, and Mingus came in.
"Are you coming?" He asked. Norman looked at him.
"Do you think Steph could be a model?" He aksed Mingus. He shrugged.
"I mean I guess, why?" He asked.
"She's intimidated by your mom, because she's a super model," Norman explained.
"Ok, it was gross, and I didn't want to bring it up, but ya know my friend that came over once and you never saw again?" Mingus asked me. I nodded.
"Yeah?" I said confused.
"He though you were a model and was checking you out. I told him you weren't, but he insisted he had seen you in a porno," Mingus explained. I looked at him shocked.
"No, I was deffenatly never in a porno!" I said blushing. Mingus nodded.
"I tried to tell him. We don't talk anymore because he couldn't stop checking you out," he said, I bit my lip. Norman looked at him.
"What one was that?" He asked. Mingus smiled.
"Dad he's a seventeen year old boy, of course he was checking every pretty girl he saw out," Mingus laughted. I smiled, he had a point. Norman growled and truned to me.
"See, now come on. I have to go," he said leading me out the door. I took a deep breath and braced myself for whatever was  going to happen next. We walked in to the kitchen to see Helena on her phone, sipping her coffee. She turned to look at us.
"Hey! There you are!" She smiled, walking over to me and looked at my stomach. I smiled at her.
"How was your flight?" Norman asked, as they hugged, and he kissed her head. I didn't know how I felt about that, although I knew he kissed a lot of people, he was an actor. I pushed the twinge of jealousy away and did my best to keep smiling.
"Good, blah. Early, I'm so glad I have a few days rest," she smiled, then made a questioning face at me. "How are you feeling today?" She asked. I smiled, I don't know why, but I was nervous to talk to her.
"Umm, good," I said lowly. Mingus howled out in laughter.
"Steph, she's not going to bite you!" He laughed. I threw him a look. Helena looked at him and then me.
"Do I make you that nervous?" She asked. I but my lip and shrugged. She shook her head. "Hey, the hard part is over, I already like you," she smiled. I smiled back at her.
"Well that's good," I giggled nervously. She smiled.
"So what brings you down here anyways?" Norman asked, getting coffee going. Helena smiled at me.
"Just though maybe Stephanie and I could spend some time getting to know each other better. I mean you two are pretty serious," she said nodding tward my stomach. Norman looked at all of us suspiciously.
"Uh-huh," he said, like he didn't quite believe us. "We were in New York all winter," he reminded her. She smiled at him.
"Yeah, and I was busy. Besides this is like a vacation for me. Ohh and I brought my camera I wanted to see if I could get a few pictures of you two, something for the baby's room," she smiled. Norman raised an eyebrow.
"Ok," he said drinking his coffee. Then he looked at the time. "Alright, I have to go," he said still eyeing us. He came over and hugged Mingus, said goodbye to Helena and took me by the hand and we walked out to the door.
"Have a good day," I said, kissing him quickly. He grabbed hold of me and held me longer. We parted and I smiled up at him.
"God today is going to be killer! Do you think you can sneeker away?" He asked with a chuckle. I eyed him a second, not understanding.
"For what?" I asked, he chuckled again taking my hand and pushed it agaist his hard on. I gasped with a small smile.
"I'm not going to make it. You better be ready when I get home," he growled, kissing me again, hard. I smiled and nodded.
"Ready when ever you want," I smiled. Norman growled again.
"Ohh girl! Don't tempt me!" He said, kissing me again. I giggled and shook my head.
"Go to work!" I laughed as I pushed him out the door. He threw me an evil smile and left. I went back to the kitchen to see Helena and Mingus.
"He's always been like that. Can't get him to leave on time," she kinda laughed. I smiled, it was still akward to know they had been together and now we were together. I pushed the thought away, like I told Norman it was a long time ago. If he still loved her he won't be with me. Well that wasn't entirely ture, I thought. He was seeing that other girl, and he said he loved me. I forced a smile and tried to focus on what she had said.
"Yeah, some days are easier then others," I laughed, feeling my stomach twist. "Excuse me," I said as I rushed down the hall to throw up. I  sighed, as I finished and found my pills, but I had no water to take them. I decided to brush my teeth and head back out. I came back to the kitchen to hear Mingus talkig.
"She hasn't been able to hold anything down the entire pregnancy, dad said," Mingus explained.
"Ohh, not good," Helena answered. I walked out akwardly with a smile. "You alright hun?" She asked conserned. I smiled and nodded.
"Yeah, I just waited too long to take my medican," I said, getting some water and taking my pill. She looked at me and then the bottle.
"What is it?" She asked. I handed her the bottle.
"It's for morning sickness and nausea," I explained. "My doctor prescribed it, it's the only way I have been able to eat this whole pregnancy," I said with a small laugh. She looked up at me.
"Wow, I was sick in the beginning with Mingus, but not for long," she said, I nodded.
"Yeah that's what Norman said," I told her. She nodded.
"You still seem so nervous, is there any way I can show you I'm ok with you two or something?" She asked with a small laugh. I sighed and smiled.
"I don't know. It's not that I'm worried about me and Norman as much as..." I stopped I didn't know how to explain it any other way then the truth.  "I just don't understand how I could campare to you, or any other super model," I said lowly, bitting my lip. She smiled at me, with a small laugh.
"Sweatheart. First off, don't compare yourself to anyone. I have a feeling Norman fell for you becuase you weren't like anyone else. Second, yes, he has dated a lot of models. None of them relationships worked out. So what does that tell you?" She asked. I sighed, but gave a reluctant smile.
"Your right," I agreed, feeling a bit better. She smiled back.
"Alright, now you should eat something," she said with a smile. I smiled at her and turned.
"I think I'll start with a...." I looked at Mingus eating the last banana we had. I sighed, and for some reason I started to cry.
"What?!" He said confused, and conserned. I shook my head.
"Nothing," I said lowly. I heard Helena laugh.
"I assume bananas are one thing you crave?" She asked. I sighed and nodded.
"Sorry," Mingus said, finishing, and looking uneasy. I smiled at him, to show him I wasn't mad.
"No big, I'll just buy extra when I got to the store next time," I smiled, he smiled back.
"I'll remember not to eat the last one," he said, with a nervous laugh. I smiled and shook my head.
"It's alright," I assured him. He just kept smiling.
"So after breakfast do you want to get started on the pictures?" She aked. I smiled looking back at her.
"Sounds great, are you guys hungry? I can make something for ya, or we can go out," I offtered. Mingus smiled at me. I giggled at him. "I know you're always hungry," I laughed, Helena did too.
"Norman must love having you around. He's never been a good cook," Helena said. I smiled and shrugged.
"I mean I guess, he doesn't eat out as much anymore. I do a lot of cooking, when he's home. I mean I'm no expert chief, but I can fallow a resipy pretty well," I smiled. She smiled back. Mingus walked over with a mason jar labeled 'pancake mix'. I smiled at him and shook my head, as I started getting the stuff to make them.
We ate breakfast and cleaned up, then I went to get ready for the day. I did my hair in sloft flowy curls. Then put on my make up, and a different dress  I had bought specially for the pictures. Then we headed out, Helena had serches some places she wanted to check out, to do my pictures at, so off we went. Mingus in the back, talking a mile a minute, about everything.
First we went to a public garden, with beautiful flowers. I was so mesmerized by all the beauty in one place. We did pictures there for a while. It was pretty easy I guess. She told me how to stand and what to do with my hands. Actually she even said at one point I took better direction then some of the models she had worked with. After a while, we decied to move on to our next location.
We went to a local beach. It was beautiful too, and I enjoyed standing in the water, it was hot as usual. Mingus even got in on a few pictures with me. Standing akwardly beside me, I laughed. It was a beautiful day, and perfect for out photo shoot. After about another few hours there we decied it was time for lunch. Helena suggested that after we eat, we could go back to the house and take a few more around there. I smiled thinking it was a good idea.
We made it to a small restaurant and went in. Immediately I felt like everyone was watching us. I took a deep breath to calm myself. We order our drinks and looked over our menus. I looked around still feeling like I was being watched. Mingus looked at me.
"You ok?" He asked. I nodded slowly.
"Fine," I said, trying to push away my paranoia. He eyed me for another minute.
"Yes, people are watching," Helena said, looking at her menu. I looked at her, with a sigh.
"I shoud be used to it by now," I said lowly. She smiled.
"It takes a while," she smiled. The waitress came back with our drinks and asked if we had decided. Mingus was first to order, a burger and fries. I smiled, agreeing that it sounded amazing. Only no tomatoes on mine. Helena ordered a salad and the waitress left. Mingus smiled at me.
"What's it like not to have people watch you all the time?" He asked with a chuckle. I made a face at him.
"Its like being invisible," I said. He looked at me.
"Why would you want to be invisible?" He asked. I looked at him confused.
"Why would you want to be watched?" I asked. He shrugged looking confused.
"I don't no, guess I just don't notice people watching me anymore," he said. I nodded.
"Well it's weird. I don't know, when I'm with your dad I guess I exspect it. I don't like it but I expect it. When I'm alone, it's weird, I don't know," I said at a loss for words on how to explain it. He nodded at me.
"But your with me and my mom. So go back to exspecting it," he said with a smile, like it was that simple. I laughed, at him.
"Its not that simple. It's weird, no matter who I'm with or where I am," I said. He shugged.
"It will get easier," he assured me. I smiled, he was a great kid. I heard my phone start going off. I looked to see it was  Norman of couse, I smiled.
"Hey," I said happily.
"Hey, what you guys doing?" He asked. I smiled, more.
"Having lunch, you?" I asked. I heard him exhale.
"Nothin', bored," he answered. I giggled.
"Not filming?" I asked. He exhaled agaian.
"No, waiting," he said. I nodded, as our food showed up and I thanked the waitress.  "Whatcha eatin?" He asked.
"A burger," I said, munching a fry. I heard him chuckel.
"Though you didn't like burgers," he said. I smiled, he knew me.
"I think your baby does," I laughed, he did too.
"That's my girl," he said proudly. I smiled more.
"Yes, she likes all the things you do," I smiled. He  hummed.
"Mmh, so I don't know when I'm going to be home," he said lowly. I sighed.
"I knew there was a reason you were calling," I said, with a sigh. He sighed too.
"Yeah, well I have to go over to the other set, when I'm done here. I don't know how long that will take," he said. I looked.
"I know," I said, trying not to sound sad.
"I love you," he said, as though that would change the way I felt about not seeing him untill god knows when.
"I love you too," I said trying to sound happy.
"Alright baby, I have to go. Andy's walking over here, now, he's been waving his arms at me for a bit now," he chuckled. I laughed and shook my head.
"Go, get to work before you get in trouble," I laughed. Norman did too. "Love you, I said again.
"Well I love you too!" Andy answered. I laughed.
"Aww Andy your so sweet" I laughed. He laughed again.
"I wanted to congratulate you, on your baby girl, Norman told me," he said. I smiled.
"Well thank you, that's very sweet of you!" I said.
"Your welcome. Norman has to go thought we need him," he said. I laughed.
"We were just saying goodbye," I told him.
"Alright talk to you later," he said.
"Bye," I answered. I heard hushed arguing and the Norman was back.
"Alright, baby I love you," he said. I smiled.
"Love you too," I answered.
"Bye," Norman said.
"Bye," I laughed, as he hung up. Mingus looked at me.
"Dad?" He asked. I  nodded.
"Yeah, he was board," I laughed. Mingus smiled.
"He gets board easily," Helena commented. I laughed.
"Ohh good, so it's not just me that noticed that," I laughed. She smiled.
"No, he's been that way as long as I've known him. That's why we had Mingus, kept him busy," she laughed. I giggled. Mingus made a face.
"I was because of bordam?!" He asked shocked. Helena smiled at him. I giggled, the look on his face was priceless.
"That's not what I said," she clarified. I giggled, and shook my head.
"What does that mean?" He asked, sounding kinda worried. Helena smiled still.
"Kids, are a lot of work, your dad's always had extra energy. You definitely took some of that away. He wasn't bored when you were little," she said with a smile. Mingus seem to ponder this a moment.
"Makes sence," he said. I smiled, I just hoped he still had some energy left for our baby. I knew he was busy a lot, so it was easy to see how he'd be tired a lot of the time, and not have the energy to spend chasing after a baby.
"Steph?" Mingus asked. I came out of my thoughts and smiled at him. "You ok?" He asked watching me. I nodded with a smile.
"Fine, just thinking," I said. I was always thinking. He looked at me longer.
"Anything I can help with?" He asked. I shook my head and smiled at him.
"No. Your fine," I assured him. He nodded slowly, still watching me, but went back to his food.
The rest of lunch went well, we talked and laughed, I was actually happy that I had agreed to Helena visiting. I did like her and was enjoying having another woman to talk with. She was also very reassuring on things Norman did. We headed back to the house and I was exhausted and happy to be in the central air.
"We don't have to rush. I know it's hot outside, and the AC feels nice," Helena said. I smiled, as EITD greeted us. Mingus smiled as he picked up the cat and took him to feed him.
"Norman said he didn't know what time he would be home," I said as we fallowed them to the kitchen and I got a bottle of water, and offered it to her. She shook her head, but smiled.
"That sounds about right," she smiled. "That's fine, like I said, we don't have to rush. I do have some work I need to do anyways. So I if you want to relax for a bit," she said. I nodded and as I'd on que I yawned. Mingus laughed.
"It's time for your afternoon nap," He laughed. I giggled, and nodded.
"Yeah, phew! I'm exhausted," I smiled. He smiled.
"Don't worry, I know just what to do," he said. I looked at him confused.
"Ohh?" I asked. He smiled more.
"Yeah, you sit on the couch and I'll turn on sports, and you'll be asleep in five minutes," he laughed. I giggled.
"Ture," I said. Spots did put me to sleep. "Alright then," I agreed, heading to the living room. Mingus and Helena fallowed. I sat on the couch and she got out her laptop and started working. Mingus tured on the tv. I really don't think it took the whole five minutes, and I was out.
I was woken by quite arguing. I didn't open my eyes as I listend to Migus and his mom go back and forth about waking me up.
"I'm hungry," he said. I heard her scoff.
"Your seventeen," she said lowly.
"Stephanie likes to cook for me," he said. I sighed and streched, opening my eyes.
"Mingus," she growled lowly. I looked at him to see him smiling.
"Sorry," he said lowly. I smiled and shook my head at him.
"You're fine. How long was I asleep?" I asked.  He looked at his phone.
"Few hours," he answered. I nodded.
"Anything from your dad?" I asked. He shook his head.
"No, I haven't heard your phone go off, and he hasn't texted me" he said. I nodded.
"Yeah, he said he didn't know when he'd be here," I answered lowly. Mingus sighed.
"Well we can't watch 'The Walking Dead' if he doesn't work," he said, trying to cheer me up, I'm sure. I smiled.
"Yeah,  how else and I suppose to yell at the tv," I giggled. He smiled and nodded in agreement. Helena laughed. I smiled over at her.  "Yeah, I get really in to it,"in blushed, feeling kinda dumb. She nodded.
"I've watched it. It's definitely intense," she said. I nodded, I noticed her laptop was closed. I yawned again and looked at Mingus.
"Dinner?" I asked. He smiled.
"I thought you'd never ask," he chuckled. I giggled.
"Just like your father, always hungry," I said shaking my head and getting up. I heard Helena laugh as I streched again.
"He can feed himself," she said. I smiled at her.
"I know, but I should probably make something anyways. Norman will be hungry when he gets here," I smiled, heading for the kitchen. I heard them fallow me. I heard the door and I walked out to see Norman with arms full of food bags and boxes. I giggled as I took some of the things from his arms.
"Are we throwing a party?" I asked, with another giggle. He laughed too and shook his head.
"Naw, didn't want ya to have to cook. With the way Mingus eats, I figured I'd get extra," he smiled as we went in and placed the food on the counter.
"Yum!" Mingus exclaimed. I giggled. "Dad, you know I love take out as much as anyone else, but tomorrow can Steph make some Mac and cheese or something?" He asked. I giggled. Norman shrugged looking at me.
"That's up to her," he said. I smiled and nodded.
"Ofcouse," I agreed. Norman hugged me as tight as he could, with out hurting me and kissed me quickly.
"Missed ya," he said. I gigled as I held him looking in to his dark eyes.
"Missed you too," I said with a smile.
"Yes, we all missed each other," Mingus said sarcastically. Norman turned to look at him.
"One day," he threatened, with a small laugh, and a big smile Mingus smiled at him.
"I know. I know," he waved Norman off, as he started opening things. I hurried to get plates for everyone. Helena was quick to help. I smiled as she handed Mingus his plate.
"There's no need for her to wait on you," she said. Mingus sighed, but got his food. I giggled.
"I don't mind," I said. She smiled, but shook her head at me.
"Stephanie, your pregnant,  you need to start thinking about slowing down. I know you can still do a lot of things, but Mingus is a big boy and he can do somethings for himself," she said. I smiled.
"Your right," I agreed, feeling like I shouldn't argue with her. She was after all his mom.  She smiled, as she handed the next plate to Norman.
"You too, you can get your own food as well," she said. Norman smiled and nodded as he started making his plate. I looked at him he smiled at me.
"Do you want me to make your plate?," he asked, still smiling. I shook my head, I didn't mind making his plate. I enjoyed taking care of him. That was my job, to take care of him, I  thought. We sat at the table and started eating. Norman placed his hand on mine giving it a little squeeze.
"You alright?" He asked. I smiled and nodded.
"Fine," I said. I was truthfully fine, just supprised at Helena's boldness. I was also thankful. I did like to take care of Mingus and Norman, but sometimes I did feel I had to. It was nice for her to point out that they could do for themselves. If I had said I didn't want to, there wouldn't have been an issue . Norman would have gladly done it himslef. I just never said anything.
"I didn't mean to over step," Helena said. I smiled at her.
"No, no. It's nothing like that. I just never really thought about it like that," I laughed. She smiled.
"You need to start thinking about you. I know being with someone mean taking care of them, but when your pregnant you also have to take care of yourself first. I don't mean to sound like I'm telling you what to do. I just know you can get lost in the hussle of every day things, and forget that you need to take time out for you," she said. I smiled at her. She was right, taking care of Mingus and  Norman had become second nature to me. I did it without thinking much of it.
"Very true," I agreed. She smiled. The rest of dinner went well, and after we headed to the living room. We talked and watched tv. Mingus shush in us, sometimes, and then others joining in the conversation.
It was late before we heading off to bed. Once Norman and I were safely I our room he turned to me, pulling me in to a kiss that took my breath away. I smiled up at him when we parted.
"I won't ask you for anything, I know your a little uncomfortable with her here. I'll be in the shower," he said kissing me again. I smiled, and was about to protest when he stopped me. "No, I know it's just a habit that we make love every night. Believe me, I love it, and I'm sure you do too. I just know what Helena said is ture. We need to start thinking about you slowing down. The baby will be here soon, I want you to rest. Making love all night isn't resting," Norman said. I sighed. How could I argue with him when he was being so thoughtful? I smiled kissing him agsain.
"I love you," I whispered. He smiled at me.
"Like the ocean," he whispered back. We shared another kiss and then he went to the shower. I decided sence we weren't doing anything that I would steal one of his shirts and wear it to bed. I crawled in after I was changed and waited for him. After a bit her came out, with a smile.
"Nice shirt" he chuckled. I smiled, as I got up to go wash off my make-up and brush my teeth. When I came back out Norman was finishing a cigarette. I waited for him on the bed. He smiled as he came over.
"I ment to ask when you got that dress. It's beautiful on you," he smiled and kissed my head. I giggled as I cuddled close to him.
"Ohh I bought it a while ago," I said. It wasn't a lie. He smiled at me.
"Well it's beautiful," he said again. I smiled more.
"Thanks. I said, just then there was a knock at the door.
"Yeah?" Norman asked.
"I hate to bother you, but is Eye in the Dark, in there?" Mingus aksed. I looked at the end of the bed, and sure enough he was. I giggled.
"You can come in," I laughed. There was silance on the other side of the door, but after a moment it opend. Mingus came in hand over his eyes. I couldn't help but burst out laughing.
"Dude?" Norman asked. Mingus reluctantly too his hand off his eyes, and looked at us.
"I didn't want to see anything," he said. Norman rolled his eyes.
"If anything was going on you wouldn't have been invited in," Norman said sounding like it should be odvious. Mingus shrugged.
"Still, I don't know how you two sleep. I mean I know you sleep naked, but I didn't know and I don't want to, if Steph does," Mingus said scooping up EITD. I giggled at him.
"Only on Wednesdays," I laughed. He made a face at me. I giggled at him.
"Good night," he said unamused, as he walked out.
"Night!" I yelled after him with a giggle. Norman shook his head.
"What a kid," he commented. I laughed.
"He's yours," I giggled. Norman shook his head with a smile. As he reached for the lap. I smiled as I cuddled closed to him.
"I love you," I said as he turned out the light and kissed him. He kissed me back, it was a long kiss, and I enjoyed it.
"Like the ocean," he answered lowly with a slight pant as we parted, and cuddled closer and went to sleep.
