I went to bed that night late. Somehow I spend all day and most of the night hanging out with Norman. He was awesome. We had a lot of the same intresses. He was more then just a handsome guy. He was funny, but deep, I could have a comversation with. We talked about everything from music to relationships. Movies to clothes. Our tastes in all were different, but we could find one thing we could agree on. He made me laugh, and he was quick to counter my sarcasm. I didn't want to leave at two thirty when I realized the time, and Norman offered me to stay. I declined though, telling him I would still have to get up early to go home and change. He seemed to be bummed out by my response, but I just assumed he was having just as great a time as I was. I really had made a friend already.
When my alarm wentry off, I felt like I had just fallen asleep. Only when I reached over to shut I off it wouldn't go off. I looked up to see it was only 5:40 am. I grumbled as I looked over to my cell phone that was lit up. I didn't bother to read the name as I answered it.
"Hello.." I answered annoyed.
"Hey, you up?" Norman asked happily. We had exchanged numbers yesterday, and I was regretting it already.
"No! Why are you?" I snapped. He chuckled.
"Not a morning person. I'll make note of that. What time are you going in?" He asked. I growled lowdy in to the phone bring my face back in the pillow and barring it, I wanted sleep.
"I don't know, why?" I was too tired to think.
"Well I was wondering if you'd come in a little early, I'll bring coffee!" Norman said excitedly.
"Why," I whined, lack of sleep made me cranky and whiny.
"Please!" He said. He was still way to excited for me at this hour of the morning. I huffed.
"What time is early?" I asked knowing I'd be dragging all day, but I couldn't tell him no, and I think he knew it.
"It's what almost six?" He asked.
"Yeah," I huffed again.
"In like an hour?" He asked. I wanted to cry. I wanted to yell at him and tell him no! Tell him to go back to sleep!
"The biggest coffee you can get, Reedus!" I growled.
"Awesome! Anything special?" He asked. I was sitting up now trying to process why I agreed to this.
"Sleep for a week?" I asked not sure what he ment by 'special'. Norman laughed.
"No for coffee, but I'll remeber not to call you this early anymore," he said.
"French Vanilla, coffee, creamer. It doesn't matter, but if it's creamer, no sugar, extra creamer. If it's coffee, extra cream extra sugar," I hopped I was making sence. I was so exhausted.
"As you wish!" Norman said
"Thank you!" I said, he really was a sweet heart.
"Anytime, see you soon," Norman replied, and hung up. I grummbled again streching and yawned. I really didn't know how I was going to make it on such little sleep. I liked my sleep, but then again, Norman Reedus had woke me up to go hang out with him. Sleep could wait.
I got up and took a shower. Heading back to my room to pick some clothes out. I looked at my weather on my phone. It was going to be a hot one. I found a cute 'Rebel Saints' tank and more black skinny jeans. Pairing with black and red heels. I headed back to the bathroom to curl the ends of my hsir, in solft beach curls and doing my make up. I went back to my room and looked myself over in my full length mirror. I hopped I didn't look too goth, I did like the color black. I pushed the thought outta my head as I grabbed a jacket, knowing it was going to be cool at this hour.
I arrived at the set, bearly anyone was there. I parked my shitty little car beside Normans perfect white Jeep, with the mud dotting it. Even covered I mud it looked better then my car. I sighed as I lit a ciggarette and started to text Noman. Then a tap came on my window making me jump a bit, as I turned. Norman smiled holding coffee up for me. I smiled at him as I opend the door.
"Fucker! You scared me," I said as I took the coffee. He laughed.
"Did I? Oh my bad" he laughed. I smiled.
"Fuck you!" I said as I slapped his arm.
"Owe!" He cried out. I looked at him as he started laughing again.
"Big baby," I said with a laugh. He smiled.
"I'm sensitive," he said rubbing at his arm.
"Yeah yeah, what the fuck you need me up at this hour Reedus?!" I asked getting to the point. He smiled.
"Come on, we can talk in my trailor," he said grabbing his coffe off the roof of his Jeep. I wondered what we couldn't talk about out side, but I didn't question him. We made it to his trailor and went in. I went to the couch and laid down.
"Wake me in an hour," I said, closing my eyes. Norman laughed, as he moved my legs and sat down placing my legs over him.
"Alright, wanna foot rub?" He asked. I sat up quickly.
"No, I have a foot phobia. I don't like feet, and I don't like people touching my feet," I told him moving a bit further away. He looked at me.
"Really? Even wearing them heels all day, you don't ever just want someone to rub your feet?" He asked clearly suprised. I shook my head.
"Never!" I said. He smiled.
"You are deffenatly one of a kind. I like it," he smiled.
"Uhh yeah, ok why am I not just now getting out of bed?" I aksed, taking a drink of my coffee. Wich by the way was perfect. Norman smiled.
"Well I was thinking, do you have any plans this weekend?" He asked. I looked at him. No, I wasn't big on socialzing I liked my space and some time alone. So I didn't really any plans, and being new to the area I hadn't made many friend.
"No," I said lowly. He smiled big.
"Cool! I don't either, which isn't normal, but I was thinking, because I have a free weekend. I usually like to take the bike out. I know you said you would like to go for a ride. I think you'll love it! So we could make a day of it and hang out," the more Noeman talked the lowder he got, wich I assume ment he was excited. I smiled.
"I'd love to," I said see his enthusiasm. He smiled bigger.
"Awesome! I know you're gonna love it! Hell maybe I can teach ya sometime to drive one. I mean ya did say when you were younger you wanted to learn. Did that ever really go away?" He asked his eyes sparkling. I smiled, no it really hadn't I just grew older and became more afraid of the machine.
"No, I guessed I just chickened out on ever trying it," I confessed, kinda laughing. Norman smiled.
"It's not as scary as I looks, don't worry, I'll help ya. Besides ya already look like a sexy biker chuck with the way you dress. Of course no heels on the bike. they look good in pictures and in magazines, but in real life, ya need some boots," Norman still sounds really excited about this. I laughed.
"Ok I am a girl, I have boots, I have sneakers, I have flats. I have a lot of shoes," I confessed. He smiled. I stood and took off my jack. I sat down and Norman grabbed ahold of my arm. He examined my tattoo.
"Nice," he said I smiled, showing him my other arm. "How many do you have?" He asked. I smiled
"Nine," I said. He smiled.
"Really where?" He asked.
"I have these two on my arms, I have one on each leg. My back, neck, foot, and hips," I said naming all my tattoo places. He smiled.
"What are they?" He asked. I showed him the Japanese Lilly on my foot, the paw print on my neck, and the one for each for my grandparents on my legs. Norman commented liking them all. Then he looked at me again a little more excited.
"What's on your hips? He asked. I laughed.
"Don't you wish you knew," I said with a smile. He smiked bugger.
"That's why I asked, and what's on your back?" He said leaning a bit closer like I was going to tell him a secret. I laughed.
"My back is Angle wings I got when I was eighteen, way before I saw 'The Walking Dead'," clarifying that my wings had no relation to the 'Daryl wings' eveyone else was getting. He nodded.
"Can I see?" He asked. I smiled shaking my head.
"No, because I just told you, and my hips are a gun on each hip with roses around them," I smiled. Norman smiled bigger.
"Why can't I see them?" He asked. I shook my head, with a laugh.
"Because that's a little weird for me to just show you," I blushed. That and the fact that on the guns said 'Veritas' and 'Aequitas'. My own little tribute to the Saint's tattoo. Norman looked at me a long moment.
"There's a reason you don't want me seeing them!" He accused. I looked at him shocked.
"What do you mean?" I asked unsure of what tattoo he was talking about.
"The on on your hips, there is a reason you don't want me to see them. I don't know what it is, but it's written on your face, there's something about them," he could see my embarrassment.
"Yeah because if any one were to come in there and see me with my paints undone, it would look funny!" I said going for an odvous reason. Norman smiled.
"I don't care what they think, why should you?" He asked lowly. I made a face at him.
"Because I don't want to be thought of as easy!" I yelled kinda upset that Norman didn't care if people thought that. He looked at me a second.
"No, that's no what I ment! Shit! I'm sorry I didn't even think about it like that," he seemed upset he had missed that. I looked at him.
"I'm not showing you my tattoo's ok?" I made it very clear he was not getting my pants undone anytime soon. He made a face.
"Maybe I'll have a pool party this summer," he said smiling agian. I looked at him funny. How did we go from tatoo's to pool party?
"What?" I asked. He laughed.
"You wear a bikini and can't hide them," he smiled, more evily then normal. I looked at him and laughed.
"I don't wear a bikini. I don't do pool partys, becaue I don't wear bathing suits," I laughed. I had been bigger when I was younger and still wasn't happy with the way I looked. Even though anyone who had know me before, said I looked amazing now. Norman looked me up and down.
"Why? I bet you'd look really good in a little string bikini. Tight little body like yours," he said not bothering to hide another look up and down. I looked at him shocked again.
"Norman!" I exclaimed. He smiled.
"Steph, your not ugly and your skinny, what are you so scared of?" He asked standing up and pulling me up with him to look me over, again. I looked at him and shrugged.
"I'm just not that type of girl," I said lowly. Norman eyed me.
"No, because soemone lied to you, and soemone was awful to you. They made you think your not good enough. It's going to take a fuck of a lot of time to make you see you are," Norman said hugging me. I sighed. I knew I wasn't worth Norman's time for all that, but I liked his hugs.
"Thanks," I said not sure what else to say. He smiled.
"Don't look at me like that, I'm going to put in the time, becuase I really like you," he told me. I looked at him.
"Norman..." I was cut off.
"Don't Norman me! You don't get a choice, I'm gonna make you feel like your wroth something, to yourself at least," he said I smiled. He rubbed his chin and smiled at me. " I have an idea!" He exclaimed after a few minutes. I looked at him scared.
"I love art. I like painting and photography, everthing. I want you to be my muse! I wanna paint you, and take pictures of ya. Seriously there's somthing. About you that inspires me," He smiled. I looked at him like he was nuts.
"Norman," I said. He smiled, that amazing smile, that made me want to agree with his crazy ideas.
"Please!! Come on, you can wear one of my masks so no one can see your face," he smiled solving it all. I looked at him horrified.
"No.. One your showing it to people!? And two I'm afraid of masks," I said, he smiled at me slightly.
"The point of art is to show it, and what's wrong with masks?" He asked.
"Ok, I know that, but your not showing me to anyone! An' killers wear masks!" I said, thinking of Mac in 'Red Canyon' "sex crazed, druggy, murders!" I threw in, with a laugh. Norman looked at me a long moment.
"'Sex crazed, druggy, murderes?'" He asked repeating my words with a laugh.
"Yes," I said seriously. He shook his head and laughed again.
"Mac?" He asked smiling.
"Who?" I asked innocently, he clearly cought on to my reference. I was a little embarrassed.
"Red Canyon?" He asked. I tried to fight a smile.
"Never been there," I said, not doing a good job at not smiling. He smiled bigger.
"That movie made you scared of masks?" He asked. I looked at him.
"No I've never seen it," I said, that was the truth. He looked at me.
"But you know he wore a mask, was a drug attic and killed people?" He asked. I smiled.
"No, to be clear I said, killers wear masks, I never said Mac wore a mask," I clarifed. Norman laughed.
"Your a fan, just admit it," he laughed. I looked at him.
"Of Mac? I think that'd be sick, but I won't deny I wouldn't mind being kidnapped by him," I laughed. Norman laughed too.
"Not of Mac, and Ohh really? I might be able to arrange that," he said stepping closer smiling. I blushed, but I couldn't resist my next comment.
"Can he bring rope, ya never know what your gonna need it for ya just always end up using it," I smiled, and started to bush. Norma laughed.
"Alright get yer stupid fuckin rope," he said in an Irish accent. I almost died. I couldn't help the squeek that came out of me. Norman raised an eyebrow. "Ya like that lassy?" He asked still uing his accent. I blushed. That accent alone could make things happend.
"Norman," I breathed out. He smiled.
"Aye, las," he continued, like he could read my mind, that it was a turn on for him to talk like that.
"Stop," I giggled. He smiled.
"Why las? W'at's t'is do to ta ya?" He asked still smiling. I could have fallen to my knees and been his slave.
"When did Mac become Murphy?" I asked. Norman smiled.
"Be whoever ya want me to be baby girl," he said in a low gravely voice that made me weaker in the knees then I already was.
"Ok! You win, I am a fan, but please! I'm not a weird stalker, this was the chance of a life time. I never exspected to become friends with you," I spilled my guts. Norman laughed.
"I didn't think you were. You haven't acted weird, just nervous," he smiled. I did too.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door and it brought the attention off me. Which I was great full for. I sat down and Norman went to answer the door. Andy walked in and said good moring to Norman. Norman said it back and Andy started to say something untill Norman moved and Andy saw me. He smiled, bigger looking at Norman then back to me.
"Good morning Stephanie, how are you today?" He asked, still throwing a sideways look at Norman. I smiled.
"Tired, soemone thought it was a good idea to wake me up at the ungodly hour of 5:40 am. Aparently he was lonley. I looked at Norman who smiled at me. Andy laughed.
"Yeah, ya learn to sleep with your phone on slilent, when you become friends with Noman. He's an early bird," Andy laughed. I rolled my eyes as I looked at my phone to see it was time for me the go to work.
"Yeah, well I guess it's about that time, I said as I got up from the couch and grabbed my coffee," Norman looked at me a long moment, then aparently realized I was leaving.
"Wait I'll walk with you!" He said as he grabbed his own coffee and lit a ciggarette. I smiled stealing it from him with a gigle. He looked at me with a cocky smile. I took a drag.
"That's for all the hours of sleep I've lost. I said as I opend the door. Andy looked at Norman who looked like he wasn't paying attention. I shook my head as I started walking.
The rest of the day was long, and any moment Norman wasn't shooting he was sure to find me. I like hanging out with him, he was always so funny, and sweet. He made me feel special that he wanted to spend so much time with me as he could. I went home extreamly late that night, because of the rain the day before we worked later. Then Norman asked if I wanted to come over hand hang out, I told him truthfully I wanted to go to bed, but somehow I ended up over at his place. We ate dinner and he showed me one of his favorite movies. Again I left his house late and he called me early the next moring. The rest of the week seemed to go like that.
Today was no exception, being Saturday, I figured I could sleep in, but being I got home later becuae it was Friday nigh. I didn't get anymore sleep the usual. Norman called and I answed.
"It's Saturday!" I answered the phone. I heard Norman laugh.
"If you'd have just stayed here," he started I cut him off.
"I feel like I'd get less sleep, if we were in the same house," I grumbled. He laughed again.
"Mmmh, your probably right, so many other things to do," he said lowly.
"Fuck you!" I yelled at him.
"You keep saying it!" He threw back. I shoked, my brain was not awake enough to have a come back.
"Dirty minded little fucker!" Was all I could think to say. He laughed again.
"Well your up get that cute little ass in gear," I said. I growled.
"One, Stop checking out my ass you dirty fucker! Two it's Saturday!!!!" I whined. He laughed.
"So, you can take a nap later, in my bed," he said lowly. I rolled my eyes.
"I'm not sleeping in your bed, Norman," I told him. In a week he was more farward and more perverted.
Your no fun! Hurry up though. Where do you live I'll be over to get ya," Norman said in a rush. I grummbled again.
"No. I'm taking my time it's Saturday! Comming to get me why?" I asked.
"I said you could take a nap, please hurry!! Because I wanna come get you," Norman was still way to hyper for me. I finnaly got out of bed and went to the kitchen to start coffee.
"I'll be there when I get there, you can wait," I told him with a laugh. I heard a noise from the other end of the phone and I'm not sure what it was.
"But I don't wanna wait," Norman said after a minute.
"It won't kill you," I said, still listening.
"Come on, you know where I live," he said. I rolled my eyes.
"So?" I asked. Norman chuckled.
"I'm the celebrity, remeber?" He asked, I heard him exhale. I picture him smiling. In his bed, sheet draped over his waist, shirtless, maybe pantsless, smoking a ciggarette. I shook my head. What the hell?!
"So I'm usualy trying to leave your house. Your the one trying to get me to stay all the time. I feel if I let you come get me you have a reason, not to bring me home later. So you can wake up up even earlier tomorrow," I said. I could hear him laugh, and exhale at the sametime.
"Yeah, I probably would try to keep you, but I'm tellin ya. I can wake you up in much better ways if your here," Norman said in that suductive tone.
"Dirty fucker! I'm not sleeping with you!" I laughed. I had come to believe this was a on going joke. Norman didn't want to sleep with me he just like to joke round. I was ok with that, it was nice he considered me worthy of the joke, I guessed.
"You keep saying that, one day I'm gonna do things to that sweet body and your gonna wonder what took you so long to let me," he said like it was a fact. I laughed.
"Ok, whatever you say," I told him. Not convinced that he really though of me like that, and where was the girl from the first day of work? The one he had been kissing. Maybe he did break up with her.
"Mmhm, you know it's ture, baby girl why ya fighting it?" He asked. I had gotten up and gotten my coffee by this point.
"Norm, sometimes it's creepy how much you talk about having sex with me," I laughed akwardly. Norman chuckled.
"You know I'd never do anything with out your say so. We just joke," he said with a small laugh. I smiled.
"I know but any other girl might have taken you seriously by now and tried to get into bed with you," I reminded him. I heard him exhale again. I knew he was smoking.
"Your not like other girls. I know I can joke with you like this. I know you're not gonna get offended and I know your deffenatly not easy," he said, I smiled. The sleeping together might have all been just a back and forth between us, but it was nice to know that he knew me well enough that we could joke.
"I'll be over in an hour, just got my coffee," I said. Still a little peice of me broke when I knew Norman didn't see me like that, ever.
"Mmhmm, think of me in the shower," Norman said with a small laugh I laughed.
"Oh you know I always do," I joked. I heard Norman make a noise, one I hadn't heard before.
"Do ya now? Wanna tell me what that's like? Is it when your all soapy? Or do you wait till your clean to get dirty again?" He asked lowly. I laughed. I didn't know if I could do this, even just joking but I took a breath.
"I like to think about you when I'm all soapy," I said lowly, but laughed nervously. I heard Norman chuckle.
"Don't be embarrassed girl, tell me what you do," he said lowly like he really wanted to hear something dirty. My breath cought in my throat.
"I guess you'll just have to imagine something," I finnaly said with a laugh. I chickened out. I heard a small growle like sound come from Norman.
"Oh, don't worry girl, I've got a pretty good idea," he laughed. I kinda chucked akwardly.
"Ok see you in an hour," I finnaly said, not sure what else to say.
"Alright. See you then baby girl," Norman said and we hung up. In an hour my shower, hair and make up were done, as I picked out clothes and remebered that Noman said no heels. I sighed and put on a cute pair of boots with a bit of a heel. I left the houes texting Noman telling him I was on my way. He replied back with a smiley face and I drove to his house. I made it to his house and walked up on the poch and knocked. I waited, there was no answer. I waited a little bit longer. Nothing, I thought it was odd so I called him.
"Hey," Norman said, I could hear water rinning in therror backgroung.
"I'm at your front door," I said with a small laugh. I heard the water go off.
"Give me a sec," Norman said.
"Alright," I said and I waited. He didn't hang up. When the door open to a very naked Norman, well except for the towel. I looked I couldn't help it. He smiled.
"Yeah, I didn't jump in the shower right away," he said as he motioned me in. I smiled at him.
" I see," I blushed, dam! Was he hot!
"Yeah, you can make yourself at home," he said as we made it to the living room. I smiled more. God it was hard not to look again. He smiled noticing.
"Unless you wanna come join me?" He said with a smile. I smiled.
"Go finish you damn shower," I said as I went to sit on the couch. Norman smiled as he walked away. I have no idea how long I took him to finish, becuae EITD, and I fell asleep. I had a dream of a naked Norman, god was it nice to look at him. All tan and tone. The way he kissed me, it was perfect, until a real Norman woke me up. I scowled at him as I saw he was fully dressed and we were not in his room. He chucled at me.
"I was apparently better in the dream," he laughed. I looked at him. Had I said something?
"What makes you think I was dreaming about you?" I asked sitting up. He smiled.
"You dream about me all the time, don't act innocent, " he smiled. I smiled, realizing it was just one of his jokes.
"Ohh yeah, in this dream you were letting me sleep!" I said with a smile. Norman gave me a sideways glance.
"No, that dream wasn't about me then, must be your other boyfriend!" He laughed. I giggled.
"Coffee, or we are over," I said seriously gEttinger up. Norman smiled as he went to make coffee. He made it, then looked at me. He walked over and measured me to him.
"Fuck your short!" He said looking down that me.
"Watch it! I'm closer to punching you in the balls if you piss me off," I reminded him. Norman smiled.
"Closer to do other things too," he said happily. I looked at him.
"Mmh, probably not, " I said grinning and walked away.
"Really? You don't? " he asked I went to check the coffee.
"Depends on of I like you," I said opening cupboards looking g for a cup. Noman smiled getting me and him a cup. Then going through the fridge and getting it French Vanilla creamer.
"You like me now?" he asked. I smiled.
"I could," I said taking it from him.
"Well I'll tell you something, I like you," he smiled his half grin and poured the coffee. I hummed.
"Good to know, guess I like you too then. Only fair to repay what you receive," I said taking a drink. Norman smiled.
"Mmhm, bet you tast like sweet sweet sugar," he said lowly. I looked at him shocked.
"NORMAN!" I exclaimed as I slapped him. He smiled.
"Just saying," he said innocently. I couldn't help but walk away. I didn't know what to think. I set my coffee down on the bar, when two hands held my hips. I froze. "You know I'm right why don't ya let me have a tast," Norman's voice was gravely in my ear has his hands slid along to my button of my pants. My breath cought in my throat, I didn't know what to do. I couldn't tell if he was joking anymore not.
"Norman," I finnaly said, a bit lowder the I had planned to. He stopped and chuckled.
"We're ya scared?" He moved around. To the other side of the counter. I looked up at him, I wasn't sure. I mean, was I?
"No," I finnaly said. He chuckled.
"Mac wouldn't have stopped," he said giving me a cocky smile. I looked at him a log moment.
"Mac's a completely different person then you," I said knowing what I had read of Mac, he wouldn't joke about sex, he'd just say it out right.
"Mmhm your right," he agreed. "I wish I had his confidence sometimes, with the ladies," Norman said. I looked at him.
"What do you mean, I know you've dated super models, what arn't you doing right,?" I kinda laughed. Noman smiled but then looked serious.
"I have this thing. If I really like a girl, I mess it up. Your right, I have dated super models, but the girls I really like. The ones I'm really interested in, I just kinda look like a big dork around. I joke and can't really tell them how I feel. So I date the ones that are pretty, but I have no real intressed in," he confessed. I looked at him. No wonder his relationships didn't last.
"Well if it helps, I think your dorky side is adorable," I smiled. I would date him in an instant, but I knew that would never happen. Norman smiled bigger.
"Really?" He asked still smiling I nodded. "Umm so I was thiking, I know ya said you didn't want to be my model, but I had some ideas I wanted to tell you about. I hope you will chage your mind," Norman said sounding nervous. I smiled at him. He was to cute to say no to.
"Figure out a way to hide my face, and I keep clothes on, no nudes!" I broke. Norman smiled again.
"I'm telling you I need you in a bikini. I want to paint you and I mean paint you, as in paint you body," Norman was running with an idea, I could tell.
"No, bikinis, I'm not... Just no," I said. I knew I couldn't say anything negative about myself or Norman would have something to say.
"Come on! Just put it on and let me be the judge," he pleaded. Like he had one waiting.
"Why do it sound like you have one?" I asked. Norman smiled.
"I just hopped you'd say yes! I got it just incase," he said as he walked away. I fallow him.
"Reedus!" I yelled. I fallowed him to his room without even realizing it. He smiled as he turned around.
"If I know it be this easy to get you in here I'd have already done it," he laughed as he held out a Victoria Secret bag to me. I looked at him the the bag.
"How do you know it will fit?" I asked. He chuckled.
"Your skinny, and boobs I'm pretty good judge," he smiled. "Your a C cup," he said. I looked at him.
"Stop stating at my boobs ya pervert! How long did you stare at them to come to the conclusion?" I asked while covering my chest with my arms. He laghed
"The day we spent together, I knew eh, an hour in," Norman said with a sly smile. I pulled my arms tighter around me.
"Pervert!" I yelled. He laughed again.
"Just go put it on," he pushed me to the bathroom. I sighed as I shut the door and locked it. I took the small string bikini out of the bag. It was plain white and I shuddered at the though of putting I on. I slowly undressed and folded my clothes, taking my time. I put the bathing suit on and cringed at myself in the mirror. Norman knocked on the door, I jumped.
"Hiding in there isn't gonna help, just let me see," Noman said threw the door. I shook my head there was no way I was letting him see me like this. I was pale and looked awful.
"No, I look horrible! I couldn't ever look at you again't if you saw me like this," I confessed. Norman made a noise.
"Is it on?" He asked. I though a second. Well duh, that was the whole, I can't let you see me like ths, comment.
"Yes!" I yelled, " But, I'm..." I didn't get to finish what I was saying because the door came opend. I yelled out and grabbed a towel from the shower rod. "Get the fuck out!" I yelled at him Norman shook his head.
"Just let me see that was the deal. I made sure you were dressed before I broke in," he said as he stood in the door way.
"Get the fuck out!" I yelled again. He looked sad and hurt as he looked at me.
"Fine, just thought maybe I could make you feel beautiful," he said lowly. I was crushed. Norman had bought me a my first Victoria Secret bikini and I wasn't even going to let him see it. I cringed as I though about letting him see me.
"Just, make it a convincing performance," I said lowly as I slowly let the towel fall. Norman's eye's widden as he looked me up and down. I was red I could feel it, but I was so embarrassed.
"Fuck," I heard him breath. "Baby girl, I don't know what you were hiding from," he stopped " God damn! Your fuckin hot!" He said with a smile looking me up and down again and again. I rolled my eyes. Grabbing the towel off the floor.
"Ok you win an Oscar! Now go so I can put my clothes on!" I said as I turned away from him. I felt Norman come behind me.
"I'm not just joking this time, you look amazing," he said lowly in my ear kissing the side of my head. Then he left, shutting the door. I stood there a moment longer looking at my self in the mirror. I didn't see it. As I huffed and quickly got dresed. I opend the door looking in Norman's room to see he was gone. I set the bag down on his bed and walked out. He was drinking coffee and playing on his phone. I didn't say anything as I took my cup and drank it down. Norman looked up and smiled.
"Don't say a word," I warned him, or I didn't know if I could stay in the same room as him. He smiled.
"Read to go?" He asked. I nodded anything to get the focus off on me almost naked.
We went out to the garage where all his bikes were. I smiled as I looked them over. I still got a chill when I saw a nice shinny bike. I looked up at Norman who was watching me with a smug smile.
"What one are we taking?" I asked smiling at him. He smiled bigger.
"Well I was hopping you'd leave that swim suit on and I could see wich one you looked the best beside. Then I'd just say that one, but then again. I have this feeling that you'd look good beside them all. Then I wouldn't be able to chose," Norman said with a laugh. I akwardly bit at my lip and blushed, becuase I had no idea how to take such a complement from him. Norman walked over to me gently nudging my arm. I gave him a small smile and we walked over to one of the bikes and he handed me a helmet.
"Now I'm gonna have helmet hair," I said making a face. Norman smiled at me.
"Such a girl," he said. I stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed.
"No shit! I am a girl," I reminded him. He laughed.
"Oh good, because with the way I check you out, it was going to be akward if you said you were a man," said being a smart ass. I rolled my eyes.
"Stop checking me out, pervert, " I laughed. Norman smiled and put his helmet on. I did the same and he motioned me to get on the bike. My heart raced, this was the closest I was going to have ever been to him. I was literally going to be holding him, and it was ok with him. I akwardly got on the back, Norman turned around pulling up the little window on his helmet.
"Arms around me," he said reaching for my arms and placing them around his stomach. I smiled, I liked this. I menally slapped myself for being a creep too. "Ready?" He asked.
"Yeah," I said horsely. He turned his head again.
"Keep your feet up, and kinda fallow what I do," he said.
"Ok," I agreed. I was so excited and to have my first ride ever be with him was amazing! Norman started the engine and we started moving. My nerves kicked in and I hugged Norman a little tighter.
As we sped out of the drive way and on to the road, in the bright moring sun. I felt so free and at ease, it was impossible to hear anything, except the roar of the engine. It was weird how something so lowd could put me in such a peaceful mood. We drove for ever along back roads and ended up I have no idea where. When Norman finnaly found a diner to stop at. We parked the bike and I just sat there. Trying to figure out how to dtand. I was a little stiff. Norman took off his helmet.
"How was it?" He asked looking back at me as best he could.
"I can't figure out how to move," I admitted.he chuckled.
"Yeah, it makes ya a little stuff if your not use to it. I guess it's kinda like riding a horse," he said. I finnaly made my way off the bike. He smiled up at me. "Your gonna walk funny," Norman laughed.
"Fuck you Reedus!" I laughed. He stood and we went inside. We were greater by a young waitress, who was way to bowncy. She seemed to either know Norman or just like flirting with him. I slapped myself again. Norman and I were friends, why did I have to keep telling myself that? Why couldn't I just get it threw my stupid head?
"Like these little diners, there usualy quite and I don't get bothered," Norman said sipping coffee. I smiled they were cute, and the bowncy girl wasn't that annoying... Yet..
"Yeah, it's nice," I smiled, he eyed me.
"But?" He asked. I looked at him.
"Nothin'" I shook my head, trying to look innocent. Norman made a face.
"Steph," he said. I wasn't sure when he had started calling me Steph, I wasn't fond of the nickname, but when he did it. Well it was like anything else he did, it was ok.
"Norm," I threw back at him. He made a face.
"I only know you a short time, but I know there's something your dying to say, but your not," Norman said. I looked at him, a little annoyed. When did he take the time to learn these thigs?
"Like you know shit," I said. Norman smiled.
"I do, and it bothers you, " he laughed. The waitress came back and I flashed him the bird while she flirted with him. This just made him smile more. I'm sure miss perky thought it was for her as she practically jumped up and down for him. I'm sure he boobs were giving him a good show right about now. I rolled my eyes at her, she made me sick. Then I realized she was also making me jealous of a man that wasn't even interested in me. She bounced away after a few moments and Norman smiled at me.
"You look like your going to kill her," he finnaly said, when she was out of ear shot. I looked up at him, was it that odvous?
"The fuck is she a wined up toy? Bouncy ball? Bet your enjoying her boobs just a goin," I laughed trying not to sound a bitter as I was about it. Norman smiled.
"Too much coffee, I'm not sure. Help if she had boobs to look at, I like a nice C cup," he laughed tilting his head at me. I shook my head.
"Well I'm not going to just start bowncy so your outta luck on that show," I told him. He made a face at me and I laughed.
"Never any fun, the most fun I got outta you so far is getting to look at you in the bikini. Damn was that a good look," Norman said smiling like he was picturing it.
"Shut up!" I told him, or I would leave. He smiled more.
"You don't know what you got, baby girl," Norman said. I didn't know what that ment, what did I have? I was about to ask when the bowncy waitrest came back.
"So, um, I just have to day I absolutely love you! I hate to fan girl like this, but you are just amazing!" She went on. Norman smiled. I wanted to vomit.
"Thank you!" Norman was so polite to her.
"I have to say, I thought you and Kate we really perfect together, I'm sad to see things didn't work out," she said handing us our food. I looked up hearing the strange name, Norman looked at me. I cought his gaze for a split second, but then he looked away. "I know she's young, but I was really hopping she was the one for you. Well anyways I wish you luck. Enjoy your meal," she said as she bowncy off. I looked after her. Kate, she must have been the girl Norman was kissing the first day. She must have been the one he was trying to break up with. Was she still around? He did talk to someone the other morning, he wasn't happy when he had. Then the other night he had gotten a call and said it would be a full weekend. Was this Kate?
"Shes," Norman broke the silance and my train of thought. I looked over to him.
"She's not important to me. Norman we are just friends, you don't have to explain anyone to me," I said even though my heart was kinda breaking. Norman looked at me a long time, before saying anything.
"Alright," he finnaly said. I didn't know what that ment, but I gave him a weak smile, he seemed to return a just as weak one.
After breakfast we went back it to the bike and smoked a cigarette. Norman smiled over at me. I was still lost thinking about this Kate, she was the girl haunting my dreams and the one no one, but this diner girl seemed to like.
"Helmet hair looks good on you by the way," Norman said as he reached up and mused my hair. I pushed his hand away with a laugh.
"Looks way better on you," I said as I reached up to fix his hair that was everywhere. He smiled and let me.
"I look any better?" He aksed. I smiled. Gourgous! I couldn't say that though.
"Mmmh don't think you ever look bad," I finnaly settled on. He smiled.
"Come on, got a little bit longer till we get there," he said as he threw down his cigarette and put his helmet on. I fallowed suit and we were back on the road.
It was a long ride of not a lot to look at and at one point I put my head against Norman's back and closed my eyes just listeing to the sound of the bike and relazing I was strangely relaxed on a death machine with him. My life was literally in his hands and I was ok with it. More time passed and I felt like my button was going to fall off and my hips were going to snap. I tapped Norman on the shoulder and he found a place to pull off.
"Ya sore?" He asked as he cut the moter. I got off the bike and started to walk around.
"Oh my god, I felt like I was going to die, my hips hurt. I don't think I've ever sat like that for that long" I said as I streched out more. Norman smiled.
"You never had your legs spread for so log you thought you'd die?" He asked. I looked up at him.
"I feel like your being prverted, and no I haven't," I said eyeing him. He smiled raising an eyebrow.
"Aparently you don't know what your missing. Never leave a woman alone untill her legs are shaking," he smiled, bigger, and still cocky.
"Well your girlfriend must really enjoy you then," I said. Not realizing it untill it was out of my mouth. I was biter about Kate. Norman looked at me, aparently he could read me. So I assume he understood that.
"Never had any complaints. I'd be happy to show ya and see what ya think," he said turning it back on to me. I looked at him. Maybe him and Kate were really over. Maybe he just did t want me to know about Kate, it didn't matter were weren't seeing each other. I smiled.
"Mmhm tempting," I said. It really was, I mean when Norman reedus offers to make your legs shake. It's not something you turn down lightly, I didn't think. Norman looked around.
"Bet we could find a place," he said still looking. I laughed.
"No way buddy, if you think you can go be hind a tree with me like a cheap whore you got another thing commin. I want romance and an evening of it!" I said. I knew he'd never go for it, so might as well make my fantasy as big as I wanted it. Norman smiled.
"Dinner, flowers, chocolate?" Norman asked with a smile. I looked at him making a face.
"Dinner for two at home. Flowers if you think it's gonna help you win brownie points. Chocolate yes, that will definitely work. A movie, cuddleing. Maybe a drink, more cuddleing," I smiled telling him my dream night with him. Norman smiled too.
"Definitely not like other girls. That's an awesome idea. Most girls want go out and spend money. I love how you wanna stay in and cuddle. How are you still single?" Norman asked then looked like he wasn't supose to say that out lowd. I smiled.
"Guys don't want that, they want a blow job behind a tree. No dinner and cuddleing they a want dinner and a blow job," I said still walking back and forth. Norman made a face. I cought on my way back around.
"What guys do you date, becaue I know plenty of guys who are looking for a girl like you. Hell I would love a girl like you!" He said. I looked up wondering what he ment. If he really ment that. I wanted to say I'm right here, but I didn't dear to. Norman looked down then around . "Feeling better yet?" He asked lowly. I sighed and got back on the bike. "Be there in about another hour," Norman said as the bike roared to life. I didn't answer, I was too lost thinking a bit what he had said.
On the long drive I finnaly convinced myself that what Norman ment was just was he said, a girl like me. Only tall and beautiful, and whatever else his specifications were for a girlfriend. Not me, I was just the friend someone to hang out with. Like one of the guys maybe, I pushed the blow aside. Of course I wasn't what he wanted I wasn't a modle I was just a hairdresser. I wasn't tall, I could always lose more weight. My hair could be better, my eyes. I saw a million things wrong with me and I'm sure Noman saw them too. He was a sweet amazing guy, with a heart of gold. He just was being nice to me and I was taking it as flirting. It wasn't it was just kindness, and I didn't want to lose his friendship over something stupid.
After a long ride of me thinking and over thinking. Norman stopped the bike and I finally looked up. We were at what looked like a little store. I got off and streched again. Feeling like the ride asck would kill me. Norman didn't really look at me as he lit a ciggarette and handed me the pack. I took one and did the same.
"Stop here and get something to take with us," Norman said lowly. I looked at him was he still worried about that comment earlier? I was fine, I know what he ment. I wanted to say something but I didn't now how or what. 'Oh, by the way I knew what you ment. You didn't Iike me you like the way I think.. No big I get it.' Sounded shitty in my head too. Norman threw his cigarette and I noticed mine had burned down to the filter as I dropped mine. He pulled out his phone and I realized I hadn't looked at mine all day. I looked at it, knowing I'd have no missed calls or messages, but I did see it was almost three in the afternoon. I sighed and heard Norman grumble as he stood.
"Ready?" He asked. I nodded and we headed inside. The store was cute, had a nice little country vibe. We each got a homemade sandwich and drinks. I realize I needed a bathroom. So that was done too. Norman was looking at chips when I came out I smiled. I wanted to see what he would pick. He smiled.
"So what ones?" He asked. I looked at him.
"You pick first," I said. Norman looked at me.
"Ok, I think plane," he said reaching for the bag. I looked at him as he wore a big smile.
"What one of us is plane?" I asked he smiled at me and shrugged. I rolled my eyes at him. "For real," I said. He reached for some barbecue and I smiled. We paid for out stuff and headed back out.
"About ten more minutes and we will be there. Sorry I didn't tell you sooner it was going to be this long of a ride. Should have told ya to pack clothes and we could have just got a place out here for the night and got a early start out in the moring," Norman said as he put the food in a bag on the side of the bike. I shrugged.
"I'm having fun," I told him. It was the truth. I was. I loved riding with him and although I thought I was going to break in half, I loved the ride.
We got on the bike and we road again. It was only a short time this time and Norman stopped, it was the most beautiful scenery I had ever seen. I smiled at him. Just nothing but beautiful all around us. He smiled back at me as he grabbed the bag off the bike and we headed up a hill. He took a blanket out of the bag and then our food. We sat down, well i took off my shoes and laid down. Norman chucked.
"You could live in Japan, I notice you always take your shoes off at the front door, and now with the blanket," Norman pointed out. I looked up at him.
"I hate dirt and if I'm going to walk around a house in just socks or even bear foot, it better be clean. Ok that's a lie I don't walk around bear foot. I wear slipper," I said Norman laughed.
"Don't tell me you have a phobia of your feet being dirty too?" Norman laughed as he laid down beside me. I rolled on to my stomach.
"Don't laugh," I said he looked at me.
"Seriously? Never met a girl like you," he said, I smiled.
"And you never will again," I promised him. He smied.
The rest of the afternoon was spent on that blanket, talking and laughing. It was the best afternoon of my life. I never wanted it to end, but I know as the sun got low we would have to head back. As we got ready to get on the bike I dreaded sitting that long, but I also loved the idea of being that close to Norman.
We didn't make as may stops on the way home so it didn't take us as long to get back. I was never more happy to see Noman house then I was after the long ride. He parked the bike back in the garage and we got off.
"So?" He asked happy as he took my helmet from me. I smiled.
"It was really long ride, I mean for my first time, but other then that I loved it! I would absolutely love to do it again!" I said happily and tired all at the same time.
"Awesome! Don't worry I'll take you out again, maybe we can make a weekend of it," Norman said with a shy smile. I smiled back.
"Sounds awesome," I smiled back. Norman looked around a second.
"So you wanna come in and watch a movie or soemthing. I sighed. I was exhausted.
"Norm, I loved hanging out with you, but we both know your going to call me at some ungodly hour tomorrow morning," I said, Norman smiled.
"Just stay," he said lowly. I looked at him.
"I'm not sleeping here," I told him. He looked at me a log time.
"Why?" He asked. "Not like I'm gonna hurt you," he threw in. I shook my head.
"What would people think?" I asked. He gave me a weird look.
"Who?" He asked. I looked around nervously.
"I don't know, someone would find out, and then people would think something was going on," I said. Norman looked at me.
"Is that a bad thing?" He asked. I was kinda confused.
"Norman, it would take longer then a week for me to date someone and it deffenatly would take me longer then a week for me to sleep with soemone, " I told him. Knowing nothing would ever happen it was just a general statement.
"Yeah, just figured you were tired, don't want you getting in to a wreck," he said lowly. I smiled.
"I'll be fine hun, that's for being conserned. We walked to my car and I hugged Norman thanking him again for such a wonderful day. He promised he'd let me sleep in tomorrow. I laughed, knowing it wouldn't happen. I drove home that night the happiest amd most saf I had been in a while. I loved spending time with Norman, but spending time with him was making me fall more in love with him. I knew I needed to leave that alone. My friendship with him was way more important. I just had to keep remindin my self that.
