The Picture

We all packed into the minivan and Alex was sitting on my lap since we didn't have enough seats. And Alex was NOT happy. If looks could kill the lads and I would be long gone.

"Sooooo..." Lily said, "How did it go finding food for you guys?"

"It really sucked, we were going to all these stores and eventually ended up going to a house where I almost got my face ripped off by a zombie," Niall said. Alex crossed her arms and snorted and stared at Niall with a smirk on her face. "It's not funny," Niall cried. I looked down at Alex who looked pretty proud of herself and turned towards the window and just stared outside, and I could have sworn I saw a hint of sadness in her face when we passed another exit.

"Who wants to listen to music?" Lily asked looking in the glove box and taking a CD case out, "Well that's ironic."

"What?" Alex asked.

"Well... It's kinda..." Lily said.

"It's kinda what?" Alex asked.

"It's kind of a one direction CD," Lily said timidly.

"You said what now," Alex said.

"One direction cd," Lily whispered.

"You play that and somebody's dying," Alex said slowly turning her head to look at me, "And since you are the closest you better be praying... not that it is going to do you any good." I gulped. God, she is scary.

"But it is the only CD they have in here and the silence is making me crazy," Lily said as she put the CD in.

"Ha," Kyler said, "someone's gunna die," he sing songed.

"Please don't hurt me," I whimpered. Lily started singing along with our joyful voces.

"You have a lovely voice love," Liam said. I awkwardly started playing with Arianna's hands and I proped her on her feet making her dance to the music. Then Harry started singing and looking at Alex out of the corner of his eye... If he is trying to impress her he is doing it WAY wrong. I giggled as he slowly stopped singing when Alex glared at him.

"Oh... This is it," Kyler said, "Welcome to Rocky Ford people."

"Yes! Home at last!" Alex and I yelled simultaneously.

"Home?" Zayn asked.

"Yeah, this is where our grandparents live," Kyler said, "We come here every summer, it's is like our home." Kyler directed Liam to my grandfathers house and when we arived and came to a stop I emediatly un bucled and turned to fce the boys and Alex.

"I will be right back can one of you come with me?" I asked, "I need to get something." Alex gave me her baseball bat in exchange for Arianna.

"I will come with you," Liam said. I got out of the car and right before I closed the door Alex told me to be safe. We slowly stalked up to the house and Liam took a shaky breath. I gave him a sympathetic look as we walked into the house. We quietly listened for inhumanly moans. Hearing none we droped our guard and I set off for my picture.

"Thank god. It is still in tact," I said under my breath after frantically searching every drawer in the house.

"What was it that you were looking for?" Liam asked.

"My brothers photo," I said walking out of the house. Right before I got in the car he grabbed my arm and turned me to face him.

"Wait... Your brother. Shouldn't we go look for him?" He asked.
