Niall

If they didn’t think that I was watching they are dead wrong. I saw Liam lock lips with Lily. Don't get me wrong I think they are really cute. I couldn’t hear what they were saying but I knew that they liked each other since we escaped from the concert.

Honestly, I was angry at Harry. He was totally hitting on Alex. She is really hardheaded and badass and all, but I love the way she looks at her brother, niece, and Lily its like you can see her love and care for them. I want her to look at me like that. I know that I can't impress her by being a singer, but I had a plan. I would be her night in shining armor and sweep her of her feet. And on top of it all she was hot! I started drifting of to sleep so I pulled over to the side of the road.

"Niall, why did we stop," Liam asked coming up to me, and tapping me on the shoulder.

"I'm really tired and I think we all need to rest and figure out where we are going."

Liam nodded and I put the chair back and drifted off into sleep.

I was awakened by the noise of something banging on the door of the RV, and I immediately shoot up. I had fallen asleep with Lily after I asked her to be my girl friend. She accepted and I was so exited, but in this moment all I wanted to do was run, we had no idea what was on the other side of that door, and it was scaring me. Lily got up from next to me and stared at the door with absolute horror. I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her to me and held her staring in anticipation at the door.

"What’s that nose?" Alex asked exiting from the back of the RV. 

"Zombie maybe," Lily said in a shaky voce. Alex was angry at the fact that we stopped moving so she grabbed Niall by his ear, not even noticing how close Lily and I were. Harry sat up from the pull out bed and gave me a questing look and I nodded completely forgetting about what was on the other side of the door. Alex propped Niall up as Lily gave me a peek on the cheek and ran to the back room with the bed for little Arianna. 

"Okay stupid drive, it cant get in we will be safe if we just-"

"Bloody hell!" Niall yapped as a man in a ripped up bloody suit ran in front of the RV as the banging stopped. 

"Is that a zombie?" Louis yapped from the pull out bed. 

"No I don’t think so..." Alex said. 

"I'm opening the door, we need to stick together as survivors," Harry said as he opened the door the man in front of the RV ran around it. When he came inside we all introduced our selves and he introduced himself as Keith Jr. the third, but we can call him Keith. As Niall was driving Alex served everyone spaghettios and baby food for Arianna. 

"So, Keith where you heading?"  Alex asked sliding him a can of spaghettios.

"I am heading towards a safe house in Garden City, Kansas," Keith said grabbing a spoonful of spaghettios and stuffing them in his mouth.

"What is a safe house?" Louis asked.

"Why you stupid little band boy!!! Haven't you EVER seen a zombie movie?!" Alex yelled.

"What did I do?!" Louis asked.

"Safe houses are normally big buildings such as a museum airport or mall... Sometimes even hotels. They are a place that people go to so that they are protected from the outside world during a tragedy," Lily said.

"So why didn't we go there in the beginning?" Harry asked.

"Again... Have you not seen any zombie movies!? Every single time some idiot lets a zombie in and then everybody dies!" Lily exclaimed.

"That escalated quickly," I said as I took another forkful of spaghettios and moved my right hand underneath the table and going into Lily's lap and grabbing her hand. Harry, who was sitting on the other side of Lily, gave me another questioning look. I blushed a little and Kyler raised an eyebrow at me. I looked down at my spaghettios and took another forkful. Alex who noticed how her brother looked at me barked,

"Liam?" 

"Yes?" I asked.

"What are you hiding?" She asked. I let go of Lily's hand and put my hand in my lap as she looked under the table. "Are you two dating?"

Lily started to stand up and she said, "Don't hurt-" 

"Did you get her pregnant?" Alex asked. Lily passed out and fell on me.

"Oh god no... We haven’t even gone that far!" I yelled.

"So you confess to dating Lily?" Alex said.

"Yes," I said in a shaky voice as Lily started to get up.

"Prepare to die!" Alex yelled. Lily sat on my lap and yelled,

"No don't hurt him!" 

"So wait. You two are really dating?" Harry asked. Lily turned a bright red and I said,

"Yeah." And to prove it I grabbed Lily's chin and turned her to face me and kissed her. Louis and Zayn clapped while Niall yayed from the drivers seat. After that moment Alex gave up her plans to kill me... for that moment, and we all aside from Alex and Keith threw out our spaghettio cans. Leaving Keith and Alex alone at the table.

Alex

I sat in silence with Keith as the rest of the boys and Lily went to the back room to watch the news. I took another spoonful of spaghettios. When I felt something on my leg. I looked down to see Keith’s hand on my thigh keeping his fingers under my shorts. I grabbed his hand and threw it on the table, I stared him straight in the eye and he gave me a perverted smile. I stood up and sat in the passengers seat next to Niall completely disgusted. I let out a shaky sigh.

"What's wrong?" Niall asked.

"Don't worry... It's nothing just keep on driving," I said.

"You can tell me you know?" Niall said, "I am on your side... I know you don't think so, but I am."

"It's okay, Keith is just a creepy pervert," I said. Keith, who just finished his spaghettios just stood up to through the can away. Niall noticing that I didn't have a seatbelt on put his arm in front of me like a mother and jerked the wheel to the right sending Keith crashing back into the table. 

"What was that?" Zayn asked.

"Sorry my bad, there was something on the road," Niall said as Zayn went back to the back room. I looked down to see that Niall's arm was still protectively across my chest. And without thinking I grabbed his hand and just held onto it and stared out the windshield. he looked at me out of the corner of his eye with one hand on the steering weal and the other in my lap holding my hand.

"Thanks," I whispered as I intertwined my fingers with his.
