“Hey,” I said sitting down next to Alex. After Zayn introduced me to Lily, Kyler, Arianna, and Alex. Alex had stormed off afterwards, and the boys explained what had happened from Red Rocks to making it to me. Alex was an amazing girl, but seemed a little stubborn. She looked at me for a second with beautiful blue eyes then back out the window. Okay… “Um, so I’m the famous Perrie you guys were looking for!” I said sarcastically, trying to turn it into a joke.

“Yeah, I noticed,” Alex said playing with the strand of hair that had beads on it.

“That’s cool! It looks really good, who made it for you?” I asked. Alex turned to me with a dull look.

“God,” She said flatly, turning back to the window.

“Oh, Ha ha.” I said forcing myself to laugh. We sat in silence for a while and I started noticing things about Alex that I hadn't seen before. Her hands mainly, they looked like they had dry blood under her nails. She had bluest eyes I have ever seen. But they looked… sad. Her hair was a curly mess, and she smelled like blood. I reached my hands out around her and pulled her closer to me. “Thank you for bringing Zayn to me,” I said as she tensed up. “You can relax now you are in a safe house. The last one I was in merged with this one, its completely safe so-”

“Wow, you just can't shut up can you?” Alex said pushing me off of her and standing up. “Look sweetheart lets get something perfectly clear, I HATE One Diary-”

“Direction,” I corrected.

“Whatever, I really dont give a damn. I ‘saved’ them cause they just happened to be with the person I was rescuing. And I really wanted to shoot this one girl. Statue of Liberty over there, I don’t eve know why she is here, I would rather drag around the actual freaking statue!”Alex said beginning to walk away. “Oh, and uh, Never touch me again.” I closed my mouth and walked back to the others.

“She hate hate’s you doesn't she?” Lily asked with a smile.

“Yeah, I don't understand what I did,” I said angrily.

“She just has that effect on people.” Lily said with a smirk.

“No, she’s just a bitch that doesn't respect anybody. I just gonna use her like a thick headed soldier to get me out of this thing then she’s going to be locked up in an insane asylum,” Liberty said kissing Niall.

“I was wrong about you. I saw the way those girls were treating you and I saw me. I thought that you would have had enough respect to realise that Alex is angry at the world because of everything she has been through but all you are thinking about is yourself and the fact that you are dating someone that is famous. You need to grow the fuck up. This isn’t high school anymore. This isn’t even our world anymore. It is run over by zombies and we are having trouble getting by. Just because Alex is here and just because she can protect almost all of us does not mean that she will just look out for one person. Besides if she did do that she would choose Arianna and Kyler and I  because we know what she has gone through, and we endured the same pain,” Lily said angrily at almost a scream as she too stormed off with Kyler right behind her, holding Arianna’s hand and walking with her.

“What’s wrong with her?” I said sadly, my mind coming up with millions of different scenarios for what happened to Alex. The lads watched them turn the corner and Liberty huffed.

“She’s mental too,” Liberty said. Liam stood and crossed over to Liberty,

“How DARE you!?”

“Weakling! No one care’s about trigonometry! Look outside!” Triston cried pushing me up against the window.

“Typical thick headed idiots!” I cried.

“Dam it! Triston, why did we even save this ingrate!?” Violet said. “All we hear is we are stupid this and we are stupid that, and how we were born to protect him!”

“I know!” Triston barked throwing me on the ground. “Good luck killing zombies on your own!” They said walking into a store in the mall safe house we were in.

“Wow they really kicked your ass you must be really annoying nerd boy.” A female voice said. I looked up to see a brown haired girl in black, silver, and purple Osiris. She had on black leggings which in purple letters read ‘Black Veil Brides’. She had a plain black V-neck and a leather jacket topped off with black fingerless gloves and a gold chain around her neck.

“Well judging by how poorly you carry yourself and how badly you talk you seem highly uneducated and stupid too considering your awful garments and the nasty ‘band’ on your leg,” I said standing up and fixing my tie. The girl laughed and played with a beaded strand of hair.

“Whatever you say, nerd boy. You really won't live long. People like you wouldn't even get their hands dirty in mud. I would bet you can’t even kill one zombie. what use is brains if zombies are gonna eat em up if you can't defend your self?” She laughed again, “I would say see you in hell, nerd boy. But as you can see, were already there. So maybe you aren't so smart after all hm?” She smiled and continued on.

“That bitch,” I said out loud. “How dare she mock the great Eugene Fitzgerald!?” I ran into a hardware store and grabbed a heavy looking shovel. People werent aloud down stairs for safety purposes, mostly noise. I ran down the no longer moving escalators. I will show her. Brain’s will save and rule this world. I unlocked one of the doors and opened it with a loud bang as it hit the wall.

“AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!” I cried leaving the door behind me, wide open...
