Lily

“Russia?” I asked.

“Yes, Northern Russia is a frozen wasteland. Nobody lived there, and still dont. It’s just harsh and cold… and well, miserable. But there are no people there, and where there is no people there are no zombies.” Alex explained.

“You really think that we can survive up there?” Harry asked.

“And not to mention the power! Living in a frozen wasteland with no power. I don’t know, Alex.” Niall added.

“Just trust me, I have an idea of how were going to live. Observe,” Alex said pointing to a point on the map in the north quadrant of Russia. “Somewhere here is a stop called Pechora. From research there looks to be nothing there, but there is. It’s an old trading post by a river. If we find it and fix it up we have ourselves a house!” Harry’s face light up, and the others matched the expression.

“But Alex are you sure? I mean with Lily and Liam’s baby, I don’t know if we-”

“Wow! Back up!” Alex started interrupting Perrie. “Lily and Liam’s- Oh my god…”

“What!?” I exclaimed out of shock. Perrie thought Arianna was my… “I am NOT a mom!” Liam’s face was tomato red and the bus was silent for a few minutes until Alex and Harry practically died of laughter.

“She’s my niece!” Alex exclaimed through laughs. “She’s not related to Lily at all.”

“And I’m NOT a mom!!!” I cried. That set Alex off again. Despite the situation I didn't mind. It was good to hear Alex’s laugh.

“Come on. We better start moving.” Alex said with a smile. Niall practically sprinted to the drivers seat while Alex began to assess our supplies. At this point we had so many blankets, they were everywhere around the bus. All the windows were closed, and we made an effort to keep the entire inside very warm and clean.

“I hate the cold,” Perrie grumbled. “I still want to do something before we go to Russia.”

Jason

“What is taking that thing so long!?” Dr. Armstrong practically screamed.

“Sir, when it bites someone it takes longer for that person to change then our regulars,” I informed.

“I don’t care! That thing has to test her! I need to record her progress! Ugh! I’m surrounded by idiots.” Dr. Armstrong said angrily throwing his hands in the air.

“Sir, the things are indeed taking longer than expected, but the flower and her group are actually going towards them,” I said.

“Oh Jason, I am so sorry about your father. I told Gil to be careful around the new ones,” Dr. Armstrong said, as he clamped a hand on my shoulder. I felt a ping of pain in the memory of my father. “Never mind, boy! When my flower arrives we will have a grand feast in her honor and you, dear boy, will be her Dr.!” Dr. Armstrong cried.

“Yes, sir.”

“Now then, would you be so kind as to bring me some tea?”
