CHAPTER THIRTY FIVE [Dream ]

Elle's Pov

Nagising ako at inilibot ang paningin sa paligid."ugh."i mumble.my head hurts like hell.all i remember was the day when i got caught by Jarred's gang and the time that i let him escape.ginawa ko yun dahil hindi ko sya kayang patayin.wala naman syang kasalanan talaga sakin.love was never be wrong.it became when a person dares to do something bad to the person they love.

Dahan dahan akong bumangon.pamilyar ako sa paligid.im in the dorm.

"oh my God elle!thank God your awake."mimi rushed through me and hugged me tight.hinayaan ko lang sya.

"how did i get here?"i asked her while looking at the fruits that she brought.

"Syd carried you here last night elle,ano bang nangyaro sa inyo?pareho kayong duguan kahapon."she said looking at me intently na para ang nagsasabing don't you dare lie to me.

i sighed."We got into trouble last night.where's Syd?"tanong ko habang isinusubo ang isang orange na binalatan ni mimi.

"He's at the hospital,he got three shots.but he's fine so don't worry."

i cursed.that's because of me.

"You can visit him later elle.just eat first."she said saka inilatag sa harap ko ang iba pa nyang biniling pagkain.

I lost appetite kaya naman halos konti lang din ang nakain ko.I lie down in bed and release a long sigh.kanina pa umalis si mimi dahil malelate na daw sya sa klase namin.I asked her to bring me notes for me to cope up to our studies.

Hindi ko namalayang nakatulog na pala ako ulit.

"Dr.Greg,here are the components that you need."then he laid the herbs in the small circle table.

"thanks".then greg put a small amount of herb in the test tube and started to mix it continuously.then he gradually pour it in the flask.the substance started to bubble as the flame hit it.

he's wearing a lab gown.and doing his experiment again in the laboratory.this is the nth time because of failing again and again.he want to make it perfect this time.

He took a small amount of the substance and place it in the slide of the microscope.a small smile formed in his lips when he looked at the
substance under the microscope.

"Greg..what are you doing?"a woman asked him

"i'll going to test it to me."he said holding a syringe with a red substance inside of it.

"Are you insane Greg?your going to be the tester of your own formulation?"a woman tried to snatch it but Dr.Greg insist.

he slowly inject the formula in his arm."Aaarrgghh.."then he dropped the syringe and started to trembled.woman rushed to his side and panic.

"oh God Greg.what did you do."she said shocked with her wide eyes,directly looking at him.

Nagising ako sa mahinang pagpalo sa pisngi ko.i saw mimi trembling.

"God elle!kanina pa kita ginigising.your shouting in your dreams!nag-alala ako."tska nya ako binitawan ng mapansing okay na ako.napaisip ako sa panaginip ko.it was a very mysterious dream.a dream that made me shiver at the thought of it.

Dad your in my dreams,but why?i whisper to myself.

Napatingin naman ako sa bintana.malapit na palang gumabi.halos apat na oras din akong nakatulog.

bumangon ako at umupo sa gilid ng kama habang nakamata lang sakin si mimi.tumaas naman ang sulok ng labi ko.

"hey don't worry about me.im starving.let's get some food."she nodded and we headed in the cafeteria.halos konti nalang din ang tao since pagabi na din.karamihan ay nasa kani-kanilang dorm na since tapos na lahat ng klase.

Sinabi kong maghanap ng mauupuan si mimi at ako na ang bahalang umorder.
"two mango juice, two butterchicken with rice and a slice of chocolate cake please."

after i get my orders i look for mimi,her hands are in the air,swaying like an idiot.uh.what a pest.sino ba naman kasing matinong tao ang itataas pa ang dalawang kamay?kung pwede naman na isa lang diba?trip nya lang ganon?.psh.

dumiretso na ako sa table namin at inilapag ang mga inorder.we silently eat our food but mimi broke the silence when she dropped the spoon.lumikha ito ng kaunting ingay.

"ooopppss..sarreh.."what the hell.did she just said 'sarreh'? umiling nalang ako at nagumpisa na ulit kumain.pumunta naman syang counter para humingi ng another spoon.napaka careless talaga ng babaeng to.

we headed back to our dorm.i slack off in bed and let out a deep sigh.i decided to go to the hospital tomorrow to visit Syd.probably buying him some stuffs like fruits or soup maybe.

"elle,antok ka na ba?"tumingin ako sakanya at umiling."sakto noon muna tayo ng movie dali,may mga binili ako kanina eh."wala na akong nagawa ng hilahin nya ako pababa sa sahig.isinalang nya ang cd titled a walk to remember .kumportable kaming nakaupo ng bigla itong tumayo para kumuha daw ng snacks namin.

bumalik ito na may dala dalang chips and coke in can.napansin ko nalang na impit na syang umiiyak.hindi naman kasi ako nanonood masyado akong absorbed sa panaginip ko kanina.ni hindi ko nga namalayan na tapos na pala yung palabas.

Monday morning and we headed to our first class .sakto naman na magkaklase kami ni mimi.

"okay class open your books to page 125 .and Ms.Chan maiwan ka dito mamaya after class.you have many thins to catch up.i nodded and she continue to teach us about history.

As soon as the class dismissed. Mrs.Arnaiz handed me some textbooks to answer.

"Ms.Chan you need to finish this tomorrow evening and hand it back to me okay?"tinanguan ko lang ulit sya.saka walang ganang lumabas ng classroom.

im busy looking at the textbooks that why didn't notice someone that blocke my way.huli na ng makita ko na tumilapon ang ilan sa mga textbook na hawak ko.

"You should watch your steps young lady."i look up to see an angelic face bagay sa kanya ang eyeglasses na suot.she's well defined woman.i think bago to dito sa school.until her eyes locked to mine.and i blinked twice ng makita ko ang pagpula non.baka naman dinadaya lang ako ng sariling paningin?
