Chapter 13

Phil's p.o.v

"Why don't we go back to mine?" I suggest to Dan. It felt good to talk to Dan. I don't know how just ignoring Jack and pretending he never said anything is going to work out though. He'll find out that Dan and I are seeing each other again. I don't know what I'll do, I'll think about it later.

"What about your dad?" Dan asks nervously. I pull out my phone and check the time, it's a little past noon.

"He's gone, out with his friends. And my mums out with him. They won't be home until around 6. So we'll have the whole house to ourselves,"I tell Dan.

"Ok, then let's go to yours," Dan says cheerily.

We stand up, brushing off the leaves and dirt, and start walking towards my house.

Dan takes my hand and intertwines our fingers. Our hands fit perfectly together. I smile up at Dan and give him a peck on the cheek.

Soon we arrive at my house. I unlock the door and step inside, kicking my shoes off.

"So, what should we do?" Dan questions.

"We could play video games? Or maybe watch a few films?"

"Let's watch some films," Dan smiles and walks into the living room. We search through the movies and shows for a few minutes, finally deciding to watch Death Note.

"Want some popcorn?" I ask Dan.

"Of course!" He answers. He gets up and starts walking towards the kitchen but I stop him.

"You can go sit down, I got the popcorn," I tell Dan.

"Are you sure? I can help you."

"Yes, I think I can handle making popcorn," I say with a chuckle. I walk off and into the kitchen.

"Don't burn the house down!" Dan calls after me.

"No promises!"

I walk in with a bowl of popcorn. Dan is already laying on the couch with a blanket.

"Come here," he smiles. He opens his arms and gestures for me to lay next to him. I set the popcorn on the table and click play on Death Note. Then I lay next to Dan on the couch.

Dan wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer and lays his head on my shoulder.

We just lay like that, cuddled together, watching Death Note. We take turns feeding each other some popcorn. I've never felt happier than when I'm with Dan. Soon I fall asleep.

I'm awoken by the sound of Dan's phone ringing. He slips it out of his pocket and answers the call.

"Hello?..... Yeah, I can ask..... Sounds good... Ok, love you to, bye," Dan says and hangs up.

"My mum called, she wanted to know if you and your parents wanted to come over and have dinner with us tomorrow night. They want to meet your parents," Dan smiles down at me.

"Yeah, I'm sure my parents would want to go. But, your parents know we're together and mine don't," I say.

"Don't worry, I can just ask my parents to not mention that we're together. I'll just tell them you haven't told your parents yet, they'll understand," Dan says.

"Ok," I say with a smile. I look down at my phone and see it's almost 6. "My parents should be home soon.."

I stand up off the couch and help Dan up. We walk towards the door but before I can open it Dan pulls me into a kiss. He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me closer. We pull apart and smile at each other. (A/N wow I used 'pull' way to many times)

"Love you," Dan says walking out the door.

"Love you more," I reply.

"Oh, and make sure you text me when you ask your parents about dinner. "

"I will!" I call back.

I lock the door and head upstairs.

After a while I hear the front door creak open. I suppose my parents are home. I walk downstairs and greet mum and dad.

"How was your day sweetie?" Mum asks me sweetly.

"It was good. Dan and his parents wanted to know if we could go over to theirs tomorrow for dinner," I tell her.

"Oh that sounds lovely! Of course we'll go!" Mum chirps. Dad smiles and nods.

"Thanks!" I say before turning and going upstairs. I pull out my phone and text Dan.

My parents said yes. We'll be there tomorrow night. What time?

Dan replies instantly.

Umm, you can come over around 6 x

Ok, see you there :)

-next day-

I check the time on my phone. It's about noon, and I have to be at Dans around 6. What am I gonna do until then? I can't just stay in my house, that's way to boring. Maybe I could go to the park. Yeah, I'll do that, just to pass some time.

I slip my shoes on and head out the door. I walk into the park and just wander around around. I pass the slide and see something written on it in marker. I step closer to see what it says. It says 'if you reading this I will kill your family'. Wow, that's not creepy at all.

I walk over to the empty swings and sit on one. I stay on the swing for a few minutes.

"Hey phil!" I hear someone say cheerily. I turn my head to see Charlie sitting on the swing next to me.

"Oh hi Charlie!" I reply. "What're you doin here?"

"Just wondering around, same as you I guess," Charlie chuckles. I nod and let out a small laugh.

"You have a cute laugh," Charlie says suddenly.

"Uh, thanks?" It comes out as more of a question than I intended.

"Well I have to go. Bye phil!" Charlie says.

"Bye!" I say standing up. Charlie then gives me a tight hug. I hug back, just not as tight.

"Your choking me," I say.

"Oh. Sorry, I just like to hug people," Charlie laughs.

We say goodbye again and Charlie heads off. I decide to go back to my house as well.

Here's another chapter guys. Yay!! Sorry it's been 87 years since I last updated, I procrastinate to much. I also didn't really know what to write, but now I think I might have some ideas. *grins mischievously*
