Naruto >_< :3
I woke up today feeling like it was going to be a normal day. I got up and got dressed and hitched a ride with teme. We met up with the group and went to homeroom, but I guess now the normal day is sort of out the window.
I guess I had already felt off about the day before. There was another person looking at Sakura's house but something about her was just so damn familiar, we all felt it.
When we walked into homeroom, Kakashi sensei told us we would have new students joining us. I wasn't paying attention and continued to talk to Sasuke, who was really ignoring me and staring out the window. I eventually leaned forward and started a game of paper football with Kiba.
The door opened and the vice principal stuck her head in; I guess the transfer students were here. I sat back and decided to entertain myself with Sasuke again.
"You think it's going to be males or females?" I ask him.
"Hn" He replied.
"If it's girls I hope they are cute." I say. "Hey, are we still going to Ichiraku's after school?"
"Hn."
"Oh come on, cheer up Teme! You are in an extra bad mood today." I say shoving him.
". . . Sakura Haruno." I tensed at the name and my head snapped to the front; I hadn't even realized that the transfer students had walked in. One was tall and blonde with four pony tails. She wore ripped jeans and a blue shirt with lace. She was cute, yes, my attention wasn't drawn to her, it was drawn to the other girl.
She wore jeans and a white blouse with a knot at the stomach. She had red heels and a red headband in her hair. Her cherry blossom hair was short, incredibly short-a huge change from her waist length hair but it was definitely, unmistakably her.
My fist clenched, I didn't know whether to be completely pissed off or completely relieved, I had too many flurry of emotions to sort them out properly which just left me confused. She looked good, It was a relief to see her after all these years. We had all been worried, we hadn't heard from her at all and that scared us after the way she had left. I felt my heart flutter, I still had that crush on her but I was more relieved to see her okay. She was smiling as she introduced herself to the class.
I looked at Sasuke in complete surprise. He didn't bother to turn or anything but I could see that he was tense. I don't know what this will do to Sasuke, it's like reopening old wounds for him, his life was thrown in turmoil after she left and grew even more cold and distant than he usually was. I don't think he knew how to feel; I don't think any of us knew how to feel.
I looked around at everyone else and they seemed to have the same reaction. Confusion was on all of their features as inner emotions tried to battle it out. It all felt overwhelming and I couldn't help but just stare at her. It was really her, the missing girl we thought we might never see again, our best friend.
In a way she was kind of the glue that held our group together, especially for Sasuke. She started out as not having very many friends, always getting picked on and then slowly expanded her group. When she left it was hectic, we all didn't know what to do. Lot's of things went down and Sasuke almost lost it, especially what happened to his parents. . .
It took everything we had to try and pull him back and even that wasn't enough. He's here but he was in deep place for awhile.
Ino couldn't stop crying, most the time we would see her walking around with red and puffy eyes, sometimes we would see it with Ten Ten and Hinata too. We were all depressed, our group just didn't feel the same without Sakura anymore.
