Friendship Knows No Bounds (a sasusaku fan fic)

Chapter 25

We arrived at the mall about 11:40.

I guess I should explain a little about what is really going on but the challenge is finding a way to explain it without getting you guys into any trouble. Trust me, if you know, in which they always know someone knows, they rope you in so you can't talk about it.

So for the sake of your safety we will talk in food items so try and stay with me. So this group, we will call them the Veggies because you know almost everybody hates their vegetables and veggies bad. Anyway the veggies aren't good and Temari and I, we will call ourselves pizza cuz almost everyone likes pizza, are kind of turned into a vegetarian pizza; drowned by the vegetables and ruining a totally good pizza. Besides the point, irrelevant.

Moving on. The veggies ask the pizza to do. . . certain things for them so nothing happens to their. . . pepperoni's (people they care about or themselves). But basically the pizzas are at the mall to create a distraction so that the veggies can steal supplies for their soup or whatever they need.

God, sorry I probably sound high but at least I'm keeping you out of it. That probably made no sense but that's all I got so hopefully it was enough to know whats going on in this situation now.

So we were in the east side of the mall, devising a plan to "cause trouble". We have even put on disguises so we wouldn't be found out, after all we would still have to answer to police and no one wanted that. I had gotten black hair spray and collared my hair black then added freckles to my cheeks. Temari let her hair down and sprayed her hair a bright blue and wore make-up and glasses to make her look a little less recognizable. Obviously they weren't great disguises but even a little helps so when people review the video cameras we will be harder to find, not that they will have any footage to look at but. . . . the less you know the better.

12:00 we got in place and as soon as 12:03 hit we were up and running. We shoplifted, among other things and drew the attention of the security guards, hoping it would be enough of a distraction for whatever the vegetables were doing. We knew we were being watched by them but we knew no one else would be except for anyone watching the commotion in the mall. Alarms still went off and Temari and I booked it.

The only way to do this was to pretend we were doing something for the greater good. We pretended we were something like a robin hood: stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. We had to pretend like we weren't doing anything wrong or else we wouldn't  be able to live with ourselves. We did it to save someone but damning ourselves in the process. So we didn't think about it and instead chose to laugh and have fun so it seemed like nothing was wrong.

I passed an object to Temari as we were eluding the mall cops. I laughed as I climbed on a ledge and jumped off. I went one way and Temari went the other all the while angry security guards yelled after us. No one took mall cops seriously though, unless you are Paul Blart, but those kind of guys are hard to come by.

I looked over my shoulder at the pathetic looking mall cop chasing me.

I laughed and turned the corner, only to bump into something hard. I tumbled over the person, or persons and landed hard.

I sat up and held my head, "sorry!" I say without looking up. The people I had knocked over were already standing up and I looked at them..... only to stare straight into the eyes of Naruto and Sasuke.

"Sakura!!??" Chorused a bunch of surprised voices. I looked around, everyone was there. Ino, Ten Ten, Hinata, Neji, Naruto and Sasuke. I gave them a slight awkward smile.

"What did you do to your hair!?" Ino says, devastated.

"Relax, it's just black hair spray," I respond. I held my hands out and both Naruto and Ten Ten helped me up.
