~Sakura~
I haven't gone to school in who knows how long and to be honest, I didn't really care. I know that going to school was something I really wanted to do after being home schooled for so long and under the protection program but now, there were just too many other things to do.
"But are you sure you ALL have to go back to the sand village? Remember last time you did that? I'm really not looking forward to that again. Besides, I thought the whole point of more of Gaara and Konkuro coming here was so that I wouldn't be left alone."
"I know, I know, trust me, I don't like it either. Our dad is calling all three of us back for some important kage stuff and of course, that information pertains to all of us. I also have to get that type of information you found to the best agents so that we can start removing the traitors and start getting a move on your parents. On top of us leaving, you happened to choose the worst time to pick a fight with your old friends-" I glared at her and she threw her hands up defensively, "I know, I know, not your fault but still, we don't even have them to help us out at all. Never the less, I promise we won't be gone for long and as long as you promise to not go on any wild adventures like the other day and to lock the doors we should be fine, especially since you have been obeying them for the time being. "
'Yeah yeah, I'll lock all the doors and stay on house arrest, making no noise and pretending like I don't exist."
She glared at me and I only shrugged. "It is what it is I guess, just sounds boring."
"Well, you could stop looking at those maps and actually go to school for once. I'm not questioning your educational ability but you are getting behind and it may be a bit overwhelming even for you."
I gave her a look that said it wasn't happening, especially since they were leaving and I was knee deep in having what you would see in the police offices with strings and tacks all over the place. I was also still totally avoiding Sasuke, Ino, Naruto and everyone else.
Temari rolled her eyes, "Well, we don't leave until tomorrow so why don't we go get some ice cream"
"Deal." I immediately pop up and usher her out the door. I text Gaara and Konkuro to meet us there and started dreaming of what flavor I was going to get today.
Gaara and Konkuro were already waiting for us in the parking lot when we got there which made me wonder how they got there so fast. . . maybe Temari gave them a heads up earlier?
I gave them each a hug as this was the first time we were together without bending over the map or being completely serious. The siblings started bickering which turned into joking in which made me laugh.
We walked inside, the door giving a little ding as we did so and walked up to the counter. I looked at all the flavors, overwhelmed with all the flavors because I seriously wanted them all. I decided to just go with a class double scoop, one scoop chocolate fudge and one scoop mint chocolate chip.
We waited around, joking and laughing while our ice cream was being made. They finally called out our names and I plunged my spoon happily into the perfectly round scoops of deliciousness.
We were about to find a booth to sit down in when my happiness was suddenly cut short. My smile slowly died and I felt the joy being sucked from my body. I made eye contact with Naruto, and then with Ino and TenTen and I looked away before I could look at anyone else.
"I'm gonna go," I muttered to Temari. I turned to leave out the door but before I could make it someone grabbed my arm.
"Sakura wait," I looked at Naruto and he seemed to be sincere but when he told me that he would be there for me no matter what, he was silent when everyone else was against me. "Who did that to you? Are you okay?"
