New chapter! Woo! We will be reaching the end soon my lovelies. I'm planning maybe another 4 or so chapters:) So let's get this going!

The spring spectacular is in this chapter! Above is a clip from So You Think You Can Dance I pull up from YouTube. Though some people may question the authenticity of this Samba, I couldn't help by like the idea of Kat and Luke having a routine similar to this. Especially since it is in a school setting:) I just changed Kat's outfit a bit. Enjoy!

Needless to say, after what transpired, Luke would not leave my side. He felt guilty that Marcus had even got as close as he did to me.

I was scared, of course, but at the same time, I did not want him or his threats to get to me. These past few months have not been easy. Going from a life of an average teenage girl to a young woman caught in the web of the supernatural was quite the transition. And hear I thought puberty would be the bitch.

"Twenty minutes til the stage lights go on and your whiny little rears dance for your life, maggots"! Coach Arma's screams were heard thoughout the restroom where all the girls of dance class were applying their make up, putting on their costumes, and preparing for The Spring Spectacular.

The time is now. We were given our weeks to prepare, and now the curtain was about to unveil our work. As I said, even through all this supernatural activity, I could not afford to put my life on hold. Graduation was now only days away and the school year was practically over. I only had a few small moments before my childhood has officially ended, I could not afford to at least somewhat live it.

Besides, as Marcus's threats did continue to haunt me and Luke's watchful eyes only added to my anxiety, I realized that there is nothing I could virtually do. Am I going to sit around and die? Of course not. But I can only do so much as a human. I can not let something that is out of my control cause stress on my life. That being said, it was difficult to not have a bloodthirsty psycho vampire hell bent on torturing and murdering me for his two hundred year old quest of vengeance to not cause some stress.

I sighed as I closed my make up bag and slipped it into my dance bag, taking one last look at myself in the mirror. Compared to the girls who had ballet, hip hop, or jazz, I felt a bit short on clothing.

The red dress I wore revealed my bare back and the sides of my the sides of my torso. The majority of the bottom portion of the dress was made of the shining red fringe that stopped just at my above the knee as I had to wear matching red shorts which did not hide my exposed legs. The outfit was completed with my black heels.

It truly is a wonder how this costume passed though the school administrators as appropriate, but when Coach Arma argued that these types of costumes were necessary for this type of artistry, they held off on dress code regulations.

I brushed my loose scarlet hair hoping it was not messed up after getting it done last night for the occasion as my hazel eyes scanned my make up from the black mascara to hot red lips.

Sighing, I placed my bag around my shoulder and let my heels click on the bathroom floor as exited. I was nervous about tonight. Yes I have far more meaningful problems in my life at the moment, but that did not take away from the nerves. I love ballroom dance. It was the dance style that made me feel powerful and sexy. It made me feel confident in myself. Me and Luke's routine was good, and he was a fantastic partner, but it did diminish my uneasiness about performing in front of a live audience that was full of my peers.

I finally arrived to the green room behind the stage. The open space was filled with the boys and their dance student partner as the would do last minute mini rehearsals or socialize. A few members of family, that Arma has not managed to kick out yet, were seen talking with their children, siblings, and relatives, supporting them on this night of dance.
