56. The Notes and Pictures

Lilly's POV
Okay, so we all get a one week break and while all of the boys did their shots for the movie, me and Zayn had the apartment to ourselves, but it was the second to last day we had there.
Anyway...
I remember waking up to the sweet smell of Zayn's cologne. I looked on my night stand to find a note and a picture of me and Z when we just met at age 3 saying, "Morning love, follows these clues to find your morning present...
Clue 1: You hid all of this stuff on the morning of the X-Factor Audition... -Z
P.S. Please bring the pictures..."
I went into the bathroom and sure enough, a note was on his hair products. A picture of me and Z at age 4, we were asleep in the same bed, there was a note that said, "Nice job, love, now, its gonna get tricky.
Clue 2: It was our favorite movie to watch together and you were always scared... -Z"
Paranormal Activity. I found the DVD with a picture of me and him starting school at age 5 and the next note said, "Nice, now, this is kinda straight forward...
Clue 3: Go to the place where you get changed and put on what I picked out for you, hope you like it! ;) -Z"

I found a simple blue shirt, skinny jeans, a woven, different shades of blue, beanie, a hoodie, my jean jacket, boots and my blue tye die sort of plaid scarf. I got ready and found in my boot was another note with a picture of me and Z dressed up in matching costumes. I was a princess and he was a prince, we were 6. Anyway the note said, "Nice boo, I bet you look beautiful. Okay, now your almost there. Speaking of the word Almost
Clue 4: The place where you shot Almost Is Never Enough..... -Z"
I drove to the studio with all of the notes, pictures, and my phone to see Paul calling me over and handing me a note with a picture of me and Zayn when we just started summer vacation at age 7... "Alright boo, you've got a few more to go...

I went up to the studio to find a picture of me and Zayn at Christmas wearing silly elf and Santa hats at age 8... and a note that said, "Your getting warmer sweetie, now...

I jogged to my studio and saw a picture of me and Z at age 10 celebrating my Birthday... The note said, "Perfect, keep it up boo...

I racked my brains for who could be there on my way to Starbucks. I went in, got a hot chocolate, and found Zayn's mom and little sisters. I hugged them and they gave me a picture of me and Zayn celebrating Thanksgiving... We were 11. anyway, the note said, "Stay and chat for a while, she won't let you leave until 11.
Clue 9: At 11, drive to the flat with mum, she'll take it from there... -Z"
It was 10:23 we drove back anyway, but we went out for breakfast beforehand. When we got back it was about 12, she dragged me up into Lila and Liam's bedroom and totally surprised me with the girls being home early.
Lila handed me a picture of me and Zayn starting Secondary School when we were 12, with a note saying, "Surprise, hope you liked the surprise. an easy one coming at you...

The girls dressed me up and by time we were done, it was about 2:34. They took me out for a agonizingly long car ride. Good thing we had a van. In the van was a picture of me and Zayn relaxing from the stress of homework, we were 13... with a note saying "Happy times... Another easy coming up...
Clue 11: Play my playlist I created for you, it's titled, "Lilly "
It was all of mine and Zayn's favorite songs to listen to together.
Then I finished all of the songs, the girls said we had a few hours to go. Then, Cindy handed me a picture of me and Zayn celebrating our 11 year friendship... we were 14... The note said, "Your really close... just 4 more...

I did and it turns out we were back in Bradford. On the door was a pic of me and Z at the dance we went to together as friends when were 15. The note said, "3 to go Lil.

I went to mine and Zayn's hill to find a candle lit dinner with him in a suit... On my plate was a picuture of me and Zayn at the Brits... It had a note that said, "I Love You... -Z XOXO"
During the dinner, the boys sang our songs that me and Zayn both love, then at the end, Zayn sang Half A Heart fron their new album and I was speechless. By desert, they left. Then it was just me and him.
We cuddled on the blanket by a river and it was amazing. We kissed, cuddled, and it was perfect. Then Zayn asked me a question. He said, "Where do you see us in the future?" I smiled and said, "As long as we're together, our future is bright." He smiled and kissed my lips softly, and then he said, "I mean like relationship wise, do you think we would be married, engaged, broke up?" I smiled and cupped his cheek. I stood him up and hugged him. His arms were around my waist and my arms was around his neck. I said, "Married, and together forever." He smiled and kissed me again. Then, he pulled away and said, "Good because I love you Lilly and I never, ever, want to be away from you, you are the best thing that has happened to me in my life and I never want to lose you. I want to wake up every morning knowing you will always be at my side and that you will always love me." I said, "You know I always will." He sighed and said, "Yeah, I know, but what I'm trying to say is..."
