Taehyung's point of view

"Would you like to come live with me?"

My mouth fell open at his words, and I accidentally spilled hot water on myself from the ramen. Immediately I hissed in pain, jumping up and brushing it off hastily. Jungkook sat helplessly, biting his lip, unable to do anything without touching me.

"Sorry. I didn't mean to startle you." He whispered, feeling guilty for being the cause of my stupidity.

"It's fine," I murmured.

Well, you're warm now.
Thanks sherlock.

I finally calmed down, lowering myself back to the ground. Jungkook was watching me, waiting for an answer. Of course I wanted to say yes. It wasn't the first time I had been invited to live with one of my cursed lovers. They took pity on me freezing to death. But this was complicated. Because of who Jungkook lived with

"Jimin..." I murmured, unsure of exactly how I could explain to him our ongoing conflict. It was more than just a disagreement; but I couldn't find it in myself to admit this. He furrowed his brow.

"I didn't think of that... but is that a yes?" He asked, giving a smirk when my cheeks flushed.

"I don't know..." I stammered, unable to meet his gaze. "I've lived here my whole life, and I seem to always come back here. No matter what." One exception; if I was falling in love. Of course I knew how to stop myself; break off contact and grow cold. But something in me didn't want to.

"You didn't when Namjoon arrested you. I thought the same thing, but you were there the next morning." I looked around at the old bus stop that had become my home. It had become my safe place, a place I could feel peaceful. I felt like leaving would be wrong. But it was also hard to live with the constant fear of freezing to death, and I could feel myself freezing, every night; even with the jacket.

"The nights have been so cold recently." He explained, looking at me earnestly. "I don't want you freezing to death out here."

"Don't worry. I won't freeze to death." I muttered, still pondering the thought. "I'll give you an answer tomorrow. But again. I am worried about Jimin."

"Leave that to me."

Jungkook's point of view

Now I thought this would be easy. I thought I could pull the dom card and get Jimin to give in. Surely this feud was just some childish pettiness ... right?

"You what?!" The plan didn't go as planned, and I flinched as my housemate's voice rose unsteadily in front of me.

"I said, Taehyung is going to move in with us." Squaring my shoulders, I fixed my posture and glared over Jimin, giving him a stern tone as I spoke. "This is my home and you are my guest. Taehyung is going to live here so he doesn't freeze to death."

This always worked, Jimin knew not to argue when I was serious. But I also forgot one thing ... Jimin could be serious too.

"No," he snarled, and I saw this deep traumatic fear in his eyes as he too pulled himself upright. "I will not live under the same roof as that bastard."
