The light brown wolf from before returned and was towering over my head. I spat in its face before it brought its jaws down in my cheek. I seethed in pain and as he dragged backwards, successfully managing to pull my mask off my face. I stared into the eyes of the beast holding my mask in its mouth when it froze.

It stared at me straight in the eyes and stood backwards. I looked back to the massive black wolf who was still pinning me down, it was looking curiously back at the wolf who'd cowered backwards. I used this as an opportunity and kicked the Alpha in his privates, hoping it had the same affect as the last wolf. It seemed to have been caught it off guard and it growled and stumbled backwards, giving me time to free my arms and escaping its grip.
I ran to Sophie, tackling the beast that was pinning her down and stabbing my knife into its side. Sophie was free and stood up quickly, pulling me away from the wolf. I pulled my knife out its body quickly ran away form the wolves. The wolf who'd marked my cheek when taking my mask off was standing in front of us, blocking our way. We stepped backwards, feeling panting breath down our neck, we turned around once again, realising we were cornered.
We eyed each wolf, ensuring to keep some distance between us. My hair fell in front of my face, blocking my view of the piercing pairs of eyes staring at us with raw hatred. I looked at the wolf who'd blocked our escape. It was just standing there, staring at us. However it inched forward, growing at Sophie. It seemed like it wanted her to take her mask off. I whispered as quietly as I could
"He wants you to take off your mask, don't do it" into my ear piece. Sophie looked at me quickly, I nodded in response. She stared back at the wolf that was growling at her, suddenly it howled loudly.
"Wow hold on there fur balls! We weren't doing anything back there... Don't get your tails in a twist!" Sophie remarked.
It ran away behind a tree, we stood still confused as to what it was doing. There was a rustling before a fully grown man approached us. I looked him in the eye when reality hit hard, shit. It was James.
He strode over to with a forceful expression to his face. Sophie and I shared another look, Sophie rolled her eyes to say she knew it was James and that he was so going to get pissed knowing it was us who are the two werewolf hunters they feared.
