I looked at Sophie, I knew she found all this funny but I also knew we needed to find a way out of this.

Normally when we get into a situation like this one of us creates a distraction and the other kicks butt. But for some reason, it feels wrong. I want to kill him but I can't? This couldn't be the mate thing could it? I mean I don't even know him! I don't know his name, his age and for all I know he probably has a girlfriend. He looks a few years older than me, 20 or 21 years old maybe?

I wonder if Sophie feels this way about Zeke?

I looked at the two men behind the Alpha in front of me, they were leaning on both sides of the doorway. Man why do they have to be there?

Searching around the room, I thought of a quick escape plan to get away from these loonies and my own apparent home.

I pulled his hand from my neck walked away from the Alpha, keeping eye contact. There was a good distance between me and him but James and Zeke got suspicious and went behind the Alpha, staring at me carefully at my every move.
I took a quick look at Sophie, standing behind the three guys and has a clear pathway to the door.

I coughed "So er, it's a real shame we all met like this" I light heartedly laughed. I looked at the Alpha, his face shows all the confusion he feels.

The back of my head slowly pricks with pain where I fell and cut it. I hiss and bring a hand up to touch it, wanting to ease the pain.
I pull my hand back and see fresh blood on my fingers, I glance back at Sophie.

Sophie suddenly jumps at James, wrapping her legs around his neck and bringing him to the floor. Zeke stood back in amazement whilst the Alpha stares back at me.

Sophie continued dealing with James, who was fighting back at her. She got him into a head lock until he punched her in the stomach. At this move Zeke ripped off James and punched him repeatedly. Sophie glared at them for a few seconds before turning to me.

The Alpha approached me slowly, I put my hand out in front of me to stop him from getting closer. I grabbed the side of the counter to my left as I start feeling really dizzy.
I can feel myself loosing balance and quickly the Alpha moved my hand and wrapped his arms around my waist to stop me falling.

I saw a glint of silver when Sophie pulled out her knife from her boot, "James, Zeke, this really wasn't meant to be like this, we're meant to attack rogues and problematic wolves. But you seem to be a big problem at the moment..." Sophie mocked.

Zeke looked less than pleased to say the least. I tried squirming out of the Alpha's grip but he held me still. I can feel my head starting to droop and without a word the Alpha quickly pulls out a white cloth and carefully presses it against my mouth.

There is really no escape this time and Sophie's determined expression started wavering.

Zeke takes hold of Sophie and mirrors the Alpha's actions and quite soon, both of us fell to sleep.
