The rain had cleared up by the time we left the house, we weren't spotted leaving the territory and got out quickly.

At the moment we are currently driving through human land, there aren't any werewolf inhabitants around here but once we cross the boarder line of this state, we'll be entering Blood Moon's territory. This is one of the largest packs in America and apparently their Alpha has no tolerance for intruders to their land. Hopefully, with our weak act they won't think much of us, and will leave us alone. The well known fact about that pack, is that many werewolf hunters have died during their missions there. Apparently it's because the Alpha has guards on patrol within every yard of their land, and they spy on any new comers until they think they won't bring any harm to the pack. Scared? Not in the slightest. Me and Sophie have been best friends since we were children, we were brought into the hunter society when we were spotted training together by werewolf hunters.
We work together like two peas in a pod. We know how each other think and use that to our advantage when dealing with rogue attacks.

I put my laptop on the dashboard, showing Sophie the coordinates and the route to our new house.
We drove on until it was 2 am, finally reaching the state boarder. We drive down a long straight road, no other vesicle was going up or down. It was so silent, like diving in a waste land where the closest sign of life was 5000 miles away.
We soon arrived in a village, the streets vaguely light from the street lamps. Very shortly, we drove up to our new house.
"Wow, you did good with this one Ella" Sophie said grinning.
As we unloaded the car, we were very aware of the Blood Moon pack's guards eyeing our every move. We kept up the weak act for every bag we picked up. I easily lifted the weapons bag out the back, ensuring nothing inside would make a clang that would make the wolves suspicious. We have to keep a low profile around here, especially within this territory.

"Finally, let's check out the rooms" Sophie said, but I knew it was a competitive comment. Our deal is that which ever bedroom is the biggest, we had to fight it out with a word association game. Normally Sophie wins the first few rounds but I tend to find loop holes and win. We rushed around the house until finding the biggest bedroom.
"Marvel" Sophie started.
"Ant Man"
"Wasp"
"The Avengers" I replied with excitement.
"Loki" Sophie replied smugly,
"Thor!" I sang,
"Jane" she said with a sly tone
...She just crossed the line.
"Meteor, boom! I won!" I say, slightly irritated but relieved I got the bigger room.
"Err cheating much?" Sophie said, but without arguing she rolled her eyes, a small smile plastered on her face.
You know that advert, where random people or animals fist bump the air? Well normally I doubt people would actually fist bump but I proved myself wrong and leaped in the air whilst fist bumping the air like it was a punch bag.

After settling in, Sophie and I both agreed that the wolves had left so we went to bed, knowing tomorrow we'd have to change our identities once again. We've never given our real identities to anyone, only me and Sophie know each other's names and background.
