"1:30, we should make our way over to the boarder now" I spoke to Sophie whilst putting the potions in my rucksack with my knife and a pistol. I wore my combat boots, a silver knife was also planted into the side, easy for me to pull it out when necessary. Sophie grabbed her bag and joined me on the way out of the house, locking the door behind us.

We made our speedy journey to the forest, probably cutting the speed limit. We entered the woods, our faces disguised with our bandit masks. Our scent was transparent with our surroundings after we took the potions and our voices were silent to a wolf's ear. We darted through the trees, jumping over raised tree roots and dodging low branches. We stopped a few yards from the boarder, settling high in trees, propping our bags into the branches of the trees. Sophie was on the other end of my ear piece.
"So, how long left" I whispered.
"They should be here any minute now" Sophie replied down my ear com.
Silence. Scanning the perimeter, a brown blur crossed the corner of my eye. I snapped my head in it's direction, rouges. I faced Sophie signalling her with my hands to wait for the rogues to pass under us. Nodding in agreement, we waited.
5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. "Now!" I whispered down my ear piece.
We jumped from the trees, pulling out knives out of our boots before landing on top of rogues. Stabbing the wolf in the chest roughly, i twisted the knife around in circles until it fell to the ground. I spin on my feet, howls and growling heard from every direction. I watched as another rogue lunged at me, sliding underneath it I kicked it's stomach and plunged my blood stained knife its side. Straddling it I carved our symbol into its skin, smirking as blood oozes out the freshly cut lines. Sophie tackled a rogue and tightened her arm around its neck, before stabbing it in the back and letting go. More rogues lunged, snarled and jumped in our direction. Another rogue tried biting its teeth into my leg, but before its yellow canines could touch my skin I kicked it in its head with my boot, impaling its skull with my silver knife. Ripping my knife from its head I turned in my heel and quickly attacked another brown rogue. Sophie lunged towards the wolf and stabbed the thing in the heart with her knife, smirking in its face as it dropped dead In front of her. Two big rogues stood out from the rest, both gnarling at Sophie and I. The first one pounced at me, Sophie receiving the same action from the second one. I jumped in the air, wrapping my legs around its neck and flipping it over, pushing it into the ground as we landed. Straddling it, I pulled its jaw up until its neck made a clean snap. Sophie on the other hand ripped her knife from the rogue's chest she had previously killed and scored the large wolf with the blade in the neck, using her hands and twisting the head until a loud crack echoed from the wolf's body.
We turned, staring at the three remaining rogues snarling and flashing their canines at us in anger. They weren't as large as the previous ones we just killed, but they were fast and sprinted towards us with anger screaming through its eyes. Both Sophie and I jumped in synchronisation, pulling out our knives once again to kill the beasts. Both rogues leaped into the air, being stabbed underneath their jaws. Sophie and I both pulled our blades down the inside of their bodies at the same time, allowing the knives to be left in their wounds for them to land on top of it. Surely killing them instantly. I landed on my feet, Sophie too. We were both about to attack the last rogue when we saw its body lying flat on the ground with three other wolves standing behind it.

They were massive, the one in the middle was the biggest with midnight black fur. Following the other wolf standing to the left of it, who's fur was dark brown with white flecks. The third one to the right was smallest with light brown fur, but still bigger than any of the wolves we'd just killed. They were radiating so much power we froze and stared at the beasts. Growls like thunder emitted from their chests. Great. The Alpha, Beta and I'm guessing the third in command had to see that.

We should leave, we can't take on an Alpha and his pack of this territory. They helped kill the last rogue and I'd like to think they wouldn't kill us because we killed the other ones? However, they didn't seem like the caring type.

"Sophie"I whispered,

"We've got to go, that's this territory's Alpha" I said, not keeping my eye off them.

"We did them a favour, they should be thankful. But I guess we can't kill off this packs leaders, they haven't done anything wrong" she replied.

Great, now we have to find a way of getting out of here without them knowing who we are and why we're here.

"The trees?" I asked.

The Alpha let out a deep growl and barked twice.
Before I could answer Sophie, the light brown wolf ran to the right and behind a tree?
We stared as a man soon walked back out. He was around Sophie's height, quite tanned and skinny.
He walked back to the Alpha's side.

"Who are you?" His voice strict, you could tell he was trying to get his shit together.
I looked at Sophie, she looked back.
We can't speak to them or they'll hear our voices.
The air was silent.

"I said, who are you?!" His voice more impatient.

I shared one last glance with Sophie before I slowly crouched down to my knees, keeping eye contact with them. I pulled the silver knife from my boots out, elongated teeth as white as snow were now on display as they lowered their heads, staring at my hand. I held my arm out just above the ground, when I dragged the blade into the ground. I slowly drew out our symbol, smirking underneath my mask.

I saw their eyes widen in recognition, before their growls of hatred grew louder. I stood up, turning to Sophie, I could see she had raised an eyebrow at my move because she knew it had pissed them off even more. I replied with a smirk, which soon found its way into Sophie's face too. We looked back at the wolves, prepared to take them on. Sophie grabbed her silver knife from her boot too and the middle wolf stepped forward. I tapped my foot softly on the ground, signalling Sophie the count down before we would charge.
We weren't going to kill them, just knock them out so we could escape safely. I tapped my boot down a second time, 3.. 2.. 1.. stomping my boot in the 1, we sprinted forward.
