"Skye! Willow! Get back up here! Now!" James voice echoed down the cliff. I looked back down at Sophie.
"Or what James? Go stand on some Lego!" I yelled back at them.
I heard a chuckle through my earpiece.
"You coming down yet?" Sophie asked me. She's at the ledge already isn't she?
I climbed further down the cliff and reached the ledge where Sophie sits. I sat next to her, dangling my legs over the edge.
Growls were sounded from above us, Sophie and I looked at each other, a smirk plastered on both our faces.
"We really piss off the wolves don't we?" Sophie said. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Knock know!" Sophie shouts.
"Er.. Sophie?" I question.
"Just go along with it" she whispers back.
Without a second thought I shout back.
"Who's there!?"
"Ow!"
"Ow who?!"
"OWOOOO!!"
I burst out laughing. That's not hilarious but those wolves are so easy to annoy! They just growled at our joke and we could feel their hated stares.
"Hey Sophie! Is it me or can you hear thunder?!" I shout.
"Yeah it sounds like someone's pissed off the Thunder God today!" She shouts back.
"I guess Thor realised a crazy werewolf mutt is trying to claim his girlfriend?!" I yell as loud as I can. We gave each other a quick fist bump and laughed.
"Woohoo! Ain't that going to be one HELL of a bitch fight! I'm bringing popcorn to that one!" Sophie yelled.

They turned silent up top. Please tell me they understood the reference. I looked up and saw three men, James, Zeke and the Alpha were looking over the edge at us. The Alpha had very visible muscles showing underneath his T-shirt, well defined check bones, icy blue eyes with brown to dirty blonde hair. He stared down at me, his eyes showing adoration, worry and a lot of anger.
Maybe he doesn't know who Thor is?

We sat for a few minutes, staring at the view laid before our eyes. It was beautiful, a forest bellow, fields further away and hills in the distance. The perfect scenery for a sunset. Snapping out of my daze I turned to Sophie.
"Listen" I said.
"What? I can't hear anything?" She replied.
"Exactly.." I said looking up at the cliff, they've gone? There isn't anyone looking down at us.
"Common, let's keep going before they get back, if we get back to the house quick enough we can grab our bags and leave. They don't know where we're staying at the moment so they won't have any idea we've left." Sophie said, pleased with her idea.
We descended further down the cliff and we had just gotten past half way when a word from earlier grabbed my attention.
"Hey Sophie, back there when we were with those wolves, they both said 'mate' right?" I asked.

"Yeah?" She replied suspiciously.

"Well, remember when we were in the Lincoln's Library and we were researching werewolves before our first hunting session?"

I continued "Well I saw something about mates in a book, and it said that mates are a werewolves' other half. Apparently when they find their mate they have to claim them and they are bonded for life. They hear each others thoughts and when they come into skin to skin contact apparently they receive tingling sparks? They said we were their mates, right? So would all that apply to us even though we aren't werewolves?"

"Ella, that book was probably written by some love struck writer, so werewolves are real but I wouldn't hold that mating business against them." Sophie replied.

I silently agreed and carried on climbing. Due to our training, we are very good at many sports and hiking and mountain climbing are some of them.
