We're about 200ft from the ground now, the wind blowing so hard now and it isn't as steep.
When we get roughly 20ft from the ground, we stood on a huge ledge. I smiled at Sophie, she smiled back and rolled her eyes.

"I didn't expect our day to turn out quite like this" she sighed.

"Yeah me neither, I mean, who would've though that werewolves could have werewolf hunters as mates?" I said with a subtle laugh.

"Remember, hoes before bros. We ain't letting a couple of wolves who are messed up in the head, make us their "mates". We wouldn't be able to hunt ever again!" Sophie explained.

"You're right. Now let's leave this crazy territory before we get sucked into whatever this is. Jump on three?" I turned and faced Sophie.

"3" she said.

"2" I counted down

"1"

...

"Ella have you got the two weapon bags?" Sophie asked in a hurry.

"Yep, you got the laptops, voice coms. potions and our clothes?" I replied.

"Yep, right, chuck that all in the car and we'll go in a sec" Sophie insisted.

With the bags in my hand, I opened the door and walked down the drive to the car, keeping my head down to ward off any unwanted attention. I strode to the car, opened the boot and dumped the bags inside. As I shut the boot door, I caught a figure's reflection in the window. I look closer, the figure is hiding between the bushes. I lick my finger and rubbed circles on the window, appearing unaware of the figure.

"257" I whisper through my earpiece.

"What? Who is it?" Sophie replied.

I started walking back to the house, subtly humming to myself. I looked in the corner of my eye, it's gone?

"Gone" I reply, opening the door and slamming it behind me. I ran into the kitchen.

"Sophie it had to be them! They must have found out we're here! We have to leave n-"
Stopped mid-sentence, Sophie was standing in the corner with a hooded man holding her. He had one gloved hand around her mouth and a knife to her neck. She was panting as I assume she'd put up a fight.
I reached for my back pocket, wrapping my fingers around my hand knife. As I pulled it out I kept it hidden behind my back in my right hand, slowly walking forward to the masked man.

I gripped the knife tighter, "listen, I won't hurt you too much if you her go now." I say, nearing them. I scowled at him, I put three fingers by my side with my left hand, signalling Sophie a count down. I stepped closer, two fingers by my side. I curled the second finger into my palm and stopped edging forward. I clocked my head sideways, giving a questioning look.
"What's it going to be?" I questioned, a small smirk crept to my face.

Huh, I guess he wants to die?

As I curled my index finger into my palm I pulled the knife from my back, I tried lunging towards him but I couldn't move. What?
