"Sophie" a male's voice spoke. I looked to the door and Zeke was there looking at Sophie.
I sensed she stiffened but she replied none the less "Zeke look I'm sorry, you just wouldn't let me help Ella so I had to." She said.

Zeke took slow steps into the room, "You can't help her when Aiden's wolf is in charge, you will get hurt and I'm not allowing you to ever get hurt" he said, looking deeply into Sophie's eyes.

I coughed awkwardly, letting the two love birds know I'm still here. Zeke's eyes darted to me and they softened.

"Look, Ella?" He questioned. I nodded, I guess he'll have to know my real name.

"Ella, Alpha Aiden is very powerful. You're his mate and he doesn't want to hurt you, believe me, but if you piss him off he only gets angrier. What he did, no wolf should ever do to their mates. It hurt him to see you in that state and knowing he did that to you. Normally that noise would kill a wolf, but you're strong and he's not sure how he would deal with himself if he had killed you back there." Zeke continued.

I was angry. Aiden basically tried killing me and not even Zeke came to my rescue.

"Why didn't you come save me?" I asked angrily.

Zeke had sorrowful eyes "I had Sophie to protect, but she kicked my ass for keeping her away from you, so I know now that you two are very powerful, probably how you've managed to create such a name for yourselves, which only makes it clear to us that you can't see each other again" Zeke said.

Wow hold on there, twist ending! I was not expecting that!

"Er Zeke, hasn't all this just proven that you can't separate us?" I said in an obvious tone.

"No, it has proven to us that you can't be trusted together. You have killed so many wolves in the past that together you could easily take down half of our pack" he said with some authority.
Damn, I really shouldn't have drawn our sign in the ground that time they first met us, otherwise they probably wouldn't know we're werewolf hunters.

I got out of the bed and stood in front of Zeke, "Guess what, we're werewolf hunters, and what do we do? We kill your kind. If you want to separate us from ever seeing each other again, we'll go on a killing spree and destroy your pack until it burns in hell" I spat, venom poisoning my words.

"Yeah Zeke, I don't think you'd like to be the one held responsible for that misfortune, would you?" Sophie questioned, standing up next to me.

He looked between us for a moment, waiting for us to brake and show weakness but our facades didn't falter.

"Or would the two werewolf hunters like to see what we do to your kind?"
A low voice appeared from behind the door, as Alpha Aiden walked in.
