The tall man growled before he charged at me, I ducked and he went over me, crashing into James. I crawled forward as fast as I could, turning to take a look back. The Alpha was on top of James, punching him in the face repeatedly.

The guy called Zeke was holding Sophie by her wrists whilst looking at James being beaten to a pulp. Did he think James was me? I pressed a button on my ear piece, Sophie's eyes shot to mine. I looked to Zeke and back, Sophie understanding what I meant, she elbowed him and turned around looking him in the eyes. They both froze, staring deeply into each other's eyes. I was mesmerised, she wasn't escaping him, James was being beaten up in the corner and I am just sat here watching it like I was at the cinema. Dam I need some popcorn right now.

'Mate'

I heard Zeke say as he stared at Sophie. Sophie on the other hand snapped out of her daze, looking back at me with a 'what-the-fvck-did-he-just-say' look. Sophie tried scrambling to her feet but Zeke grabbed her arm roughly.

"Get off me you freak!" She retorted, trying to snatch her arm back, failing miserably. I snarled and growled at Zeke, I know I wasn't a wolf but it's a warning sound they make at other wolves when they're angry.
I ran to Sophie, martial art chopping the connection between Sophie's arm as Zeke's hand. They broke apart, Zeke's eyes turned a deep colour when he faced me. He growled and pushed Sophie behind her, in a protective way.

"Give me my friend back you stupid mutt" I spat.
I tried reaching behind him to grab Sophie and leave but Zeke wrapped his hand around my neck, lifting my body off the ground.
"ZEKE STOP!" Sophie screamed trying to get past him, but his other hand was out to the side, preventing Sophie from moving.
I scratched at his hand, digging my nails in to his skin but he didn't loosen his grip. In fact I think it tightened. My legs dangled as I continued to attack his hands. I glared at him, "Let go mutt" my voice strained, an attempt of a smirk plastered on my face. I felt my wind pipe slowly closing, my neck aching from his tightening hold. That's probably going to leave a bruise. I could feel myself becoming dizzy and tiny little lights were flying across my vision.
"Mine!" He shouted, spitting in my face. I could feel my eyes wanting to close but I kept them open with all my will.

Suddenly, I heard bark that was as loud as a lorry crashing into concrete barriers on a motorway, before the hand around my neck released me and I dropped to the floor. Hitting head first onto the cold ground.
