Next morning  Trixie woke up, she spent a moment feeling a bit dazed. It was lovely being in a cozy warm bed. The plane rocked her like a mother holding a baby in her arms. Light was streaming in through the tiny portal, it was clearly morning. At this point Trixie noticed that she was in the cabin by herself. She got up ,dressed and climbed up to the pilots controls. Trixie was smart enough to realize they had arrived at a small island Somewhere. The plane was tied up in a cove. The plane was From the sea in a small natural harbor. A rope ran from the ship on to the beach beyond. Above, a cliff with trees hung over hiding the aircraft from passing planes. From the position of the pilots seat Trixie could see Fox Oswald and Kitty walking along the beach with some coconuts in hand. Kitty waved.

'We found some breakfast' she shouted.

Trixie scrambled down and ran on to the beach. After a breakfast of coconut, toast and something grey from one of Fox Oswald's cans. Kitty produced her folding pick axe and a coat.

Fox Oswald looked at Kitty 'what's the coat for' he asked? 'it's going to be a lovely day'.

'A pirate is always prepared' said Kitty. It was hard to tell with Kitty her cat face but Trixie was sure that Kitty was smiling. They walked along the beach and continued into up a narrow path that Kitty seemed to be familiar with. Above them Trixie could hear the screeching of birds. It was like an orchestra of fingernails dragging down a black board.

'What's that noise?' she asked as they climbed.

'Its just the birds, they nest at the top of the cliff.' said Kitty.

As they walked along, the sound got louder and louder.'is this just me' said Trixie 'or are these walls moving?'

They started to walk between two large cliff faces which were quite close.

'it's not just your average cliff face, it's covered in bird poo' said Kitty.

'yer' said Fox Oswald he had begun to reach out to steady himself with the wall, he pulled his hand back like the wall was burning hot.

As they walked further between the cliff faces Trixie could hear the birds above their heads. It was getting dim but Trixie could see that some tree branches had fallen down the gap. They had got stick between the two walls and word now acting like stair steps. Kitty climbed up stepping from branch to branch. Sometimes Kitty would skip a branch and Trixie would copy her. Fox Oswald tried each one before he stood on it.

'Why don't you just follow in my foot steps?' asked Kitty.

'because there hasn't been a pirate born yet that would easily take anyone to their treasure' said Fox Oswald.

'Well you're not just anyone but suit yourself' said Kitty going up.

They continued stepping form branch rock up narrow gap. Kitty pulled the coat over ahead and occasionally a drop of poo landed on it. Kitty Eventually stopped, there was a huge gap between the current branch and the platform beyond.

Kitty began to look for something on the wall. Finally with a lot of tugging she pulled a rope away from the wall and shock the muck off it.

'This gap is too big' she said 'so we used the rope to swing across to that far ledge.'

With that she swung across. Trixie followed her and Kitty grabbed Trixie. when she was close. Fox Oswald swung by himself but didn't like the creaking sound it made as her went over. There was only a couple of steps before Kitty got another rope.

'oh no' said Fox Oswald 'I'm going first this time, I for one don't believe going to swing that rope back'

'what don't you trust me?' said Kitty sounding slightly irritated.

'The day I start trusting pirates is the day you can call me Jonathan'

'Well I think you should know that this time you don't swing across you just slide down the right to the bottom' said Kitty.

Fox Oswald didn't look impressed. He grab the rope and swung across the landing on the far sides platform. There was a creaking and snapping noise followed by Fox Oswald going 'oh oh oh'.It was dark in the narrow gap between the cliffs but Trixie could hear Fox Oswald bouncing from branch to branch. Eventually the rope swung one back Kitten grabbed it and then slid down into the darkness below. Trixie followed and slid down the rope, it was dark below but the drop wasn't as far as she had thought. There was a cave beyond and Trixie was already using a torch to light the way. They emerged to find they were in a large round hole in the ground.

'Where is Fox Oswald?' asked Trixie 'is he OK?'

Kitty looked up, and that him coming down. Above them Trixie could hear shouts and screams then suddenly Fox Oswald shot out of the in the gap above them. He landed loudly on some bushes before hitting the ground.

'Glad you could join us Jonathan' said Kitty. 'maybe next time when I tell you there is an easy way, you'll believe me.'

Fox Oswald was covered in white bird poo and was completely miserable. Is Fox hair further was all matted like he had been fighting with some kind of glue monster. Kitty stood up and laughed.

'You came out, what the ancient tribesmen used to call, the giant's bottom.' She said handing over a small wet flannel.

'Terrific I've been poo-ed out by a giant'

'The treasurer is in there' said Kitty pointing out what looked to be an ancient temple.

'Where are we'? asked Trixie.

'In the center of an old dead volcano. The natives call this the temple of love' said Kitty.

'I'm surprised they let you in here' said Fox Oswald.

They walked up the steps into the old temple.

'The natives on the islands to the north come here to get married. The chief took me here and tried to marry me. But his other wives stopped him.'

'How many wives did he have' asked Trixie.

'Seven one for every day of the week'

'So did you marry him' asked Fox Oswald?

'No the other wives stopped him I when pointed out they would have to go on to a fortnightly rotor. But he was very sorry so he lets me hide my treasure here.'

Kitty knew the where hidden places sat, how the doors could be unlocked where traps were laid. They followed her and eventually reached the centre of the Temple. The treasure sat hidden under an ancient idol. Kitty pushed the idol back to reveal a staircase which lead down in a room which full of gold, silver and every other imaginable treasure.

Kitty looked round and found a leather bag. She began counting coins out for Fox Oswald.

Fox looked around at Kitty's treasure and announce that if he knew she had this much he would have charged her triple.

To this Kitty simply said 'I was willing to pay four times as much'. She then got another bag and counted out enough money to buy herself a new plane. Trixie looked at all the gold and silver jewels, Kitty noticed and came over and gave Trixie one of the gold necklaces.

'This is to say thank you for rescuing me' she told her. With that they took their treasure and began to walk back to the plane. Trixie was feeling happy now, Kitty had enough money for a new plane, Fox Oswald had his reward and he even offered to fly Trixie to a steamer home. They chatted as they walked back down the gap the tree branches groaning under the heavy weight of gold .

Then just when they reached an old stone idol near the beach near the corner to the beach Kitty stopped and held her hands up. Trixie rushed up to see what was wrong and as she did she regretted it. There in front of them was the Ram headed Nathan holding a gun at them.

They land on island. Something with poo ( bird poo).
