A Mind of Mine

They kept saying,
"Just get a job that makes lots of money,
Marry a wealthy men,
And have a descendant before you become old enough to be a grandma."

I just kept my mouth shut
Because they won't understand
Heck, they won't even listen to me

"You're too young, too inexperienced to know your dreams,
Stop dreaming,
And start living."
But what if,
I want to live my dreams?

I want to go out
Explore this world
There's just too many places
I never even heard about
Seeing all the rivers and snow and bridges
Across the ocean, across the indigo sky

Anywhere is fine.

I'm so sick hearing these people
With their broken dreams
And unfulfilled desires
Throwing their failures at my face
Hoping that I, somewhere in the future
Will fail to catch my dreams and say

"They're right
I shouldn't even try."

One thing you should know
I would rather die
Than living those kind of life
