Danni, to no surprise, is not talking to anyone in our pack, except for really Ian, as strange as that may seem. He went to her in the middle of the night and apologized, and even though we said no, he took her hunting on the full moon night.
It's a definate fact, though, that a vampire is in town. I can smell the blood on that thing from a mile away.
It has been almost a month since the last full moon. Danni, as Ian has told us, is very excited. She hasn't been pissed enough lately to phase, so the full moon is making her pumped.
"Apparently she can still smell the vampire, even though she's not able to phase whenever." Ian explains to us, coming out from his and Jake's room, where he lets Danni stay during the day time. "And no, if you are wondering, I still don't have any idea what that power of her's is." he sighs.
"It's something to do with her mind, definatly." Seth adds.
"Whatever the case may be, it's important we find out." Jake comments.
"She can hear us, you know." Ian rolls his eyes. "She has all the powers that we do in human form."
"I think I'm going to try and talk to her. To apologize." I whisper to Seth. He nods and I leave the living room, going down the hall to Jake and Ian's room.
I knock on the door but there is no answer. "It's Tyler. I want to talk." I say through the door. Again, there is no answer, so I decide to walk in.
But it's empty. It's as though no one had been there in a while. No even the sheets are messed up from someone sitting there. Nothing.
I stand there for a few seconds until I finally come to my senses and run down the hall, where everyone else is sitting down, eating again.
"She's.... Not there." I announce. Everyone whips their heads to me.
"She's... What?" Jake, who is absolutely in shock, asks.
"She's not in there anymore." I state again.
Seth stands up quickly, so fast that his chair falls out behind him. "It's a full moon."
He walks around the kitchen, running his fingers through his already messy dirty blonde hair. His eyes are searching around the room, and he is nervously pacing.
"Seth? Where do you think she went?" Ian asks him, sounding just as panicked.
"To the forrest so she can hunt down the vampires!" he yells, hitting a bottle off the table.
"We need to find her." I say, walking out of the door.
Anger builds up inside of me. What if the blood suckers find her and bite her? Then they use her to make hybrids? Or what if she just gets herself killed?
The painful feeling of chaning that I have become so accustomed to sets in as run through the forrest, my pack at my side.
Running at top speed, we make our way through the dense forrest. We can't pick up her scent anywhere... The only thing that you can smell is....blood.
But it's not human blood... It's wolf blood.
"She's hurt." Ian growls.
"Danni!" I howl. No response.
"Let's split up. Me and Jake will go this way, and you and Ian go that way." Seth commads us. I nod my head and watch both the brown and black wolves dissappear into the thick brush of the forrest.
"Stay quiet." I growl. We slowly walk around the forrest now, trying not to be heard in case we have to do a surprise attack.
A low rustling of leaves warns us that someone is close- either Danni or a vampire. I look around, but see nothing.
