"Tyler! Come here!" the gentlest voice calls me. I come running down the steps towards the source of the voice, where Danni is all giddy and pointing.

"What's up?" I ask quickly, fearing something is wrong.

"Noah's taking his first steps!" she cries happily.

I look down, and sure enough, a tan skinned boy, less than a year old, with shaggy black hair and hazel eyes is toddling, but then falls over. Danni sighs.

"It was amazing when it lasted," she says, a little crestfallen. I wrap my arms around her tightly.

"I'm sure if his Uncle Noah was here he'd still be proud," I say reassuringly.

I hear her sniffle softly, so I turn her to face me and hug her tight.

"I-I just miss him. I wish I'd known him longer," she sobs into my chest.

"Shhh. It's okay. He had a good life. Before your father and his mother got together, he had no one. But after that, he had you. He's a hero. He protected you, Dee," I say in a soothing voice.

She pulls away and looks at me, her eyes still misty.

"When's Joey, Seth, James, Ian, Peyton, Kristen, Lana, and Katie getting here?" she asks, changing the subject. I immediatly follow- The subject of her step-brother's death is a touchy one.

"They'll be getting here soon. Where's T.J. and Zoey?" I ask, noticing the kitchen is unusually quiet. She leans down and picks up Noah, carrying him into his high-chair.

On cue, the two menances- Tyler Junior, or T.J., and Zoey- come running in, Zoey chasing T.J.

"Momma! Dadda! T.J. took my teddy bwear!" Zoey says, crossing her arms over her chest. I gently grab T.J.'s arm as he tries running by me.

"Give it back," I say with a sigh. He nods, tears welling in his eyes. Danni bends down to pick him up.

Then, the doorbell rings, and Noah starts to cry. As Danni tries to calm everyone down, I head to the door, where the groups- Joey and Katie, Seth and Lana, Ian and Peyton, James and Kristen- are waiting eagerly behind. I open it and allow them in, and notice Peyton, Ian's wife, is carrying their son, Jake.

"I see you brought Jake," I say, gently ruffling his light brown hair. He laughs.

"Yeah, he wanted to see Noah," Peyton says fondly. I smile, allowing them to walk in. Danni immediatly comes to my side.

"Oh you brought Jake!" she says happily, kissing the top of his head. Once all of our hellos are done, the babies are in the playpen, and we're all seated around the table, we begin to make friendly conversation.

"So Kristen," Kristen, Seth's wife, starts. "When're the twins due? And did you decide on names yet?"

"They're going to be due in, what is it James, April?" she asks James, nudging his side.

"Uh, yeah, that's what the doctor last said. And Kristen, we're settled on Matt and Frankie," he says with a smile, but you can hear his voice strain.

There's another ring at the door. I get up, a little confused as to who it is, and then am greeted by a girl, nineteen years old, with curly blonde hair, bright green eyes, and freckles speckling her nose and cheeks.

"Emily? What brings you here?" I ask.

She takes a cautious step in. Biting her lip, she quietly says, "I heard it's the twins' birthday."

I smile. "Come in."

She enters slowly, nervously making her way into the dining room, closely following behind me.

"How can you age? You're immortal, right?" I ask, as she twirls her car keys in her fingers.

"She'll age until she's twenty," Seth says before she can answer. She nods.

"Yeah, so I have one more year to grow," she says, although you can she is sad. "And thank you for saving me, Tyler. I don't think I ever properly thanked you."

I shrug. "Don't mention it."

"When's Eli due?" Lana asks Joey, nudging him.

Joey shrugs, looking over at Katie. She rolls her eyes, but smiles.

"March," she says gleefully. "And Darian?" she adds to Lana.

"He's due in June," she sighs. "Still a few more months."

"I wonder if they'll be like us," James says, sighing.

"It's not bad if they're like you," Kristen says. "It's bad if Zoey is like Danni."

Danni nods. "I hope not. I don't feel like fighting off more vampires," she says with a small laugh.

"Yeah, I don't think my wrist ever healed right after that," I add, looking down at the scar that circles my left wrist. "Allie threw me pretty hard."

"Oh please. She kicked my ass," Joey laughs.

"But Tyler kicked hers," Ian joins in, brushing some of his unruly blonde hair from his eyes.

"She was around for almost a thousand years," Emily says quietly. We all turn to look at her. "That's why she was so strong."

"Let's not talk about it," Danni says quickly. "I don't want to think about it."

We quickly change the subject, talking about anything. Our lives, our kids, our homes in the safe area where the witches set up a protective charm- anything.

Being neighbors, we have become extremely close- closer then we were before. To show our respect for our fallen pack mates, we have named our children after them.

If anything has happened since Danni came into my life five years ago, it's this. A lesson.

Never trust what your eyes see. Never. Someone's soul is what attracts you, and the gift of being able to imprint finalizes this decision. It helps you make a choice. The right choice. The perfect choice.

That involuntary action was the best thing I never meant to do. It equalled my happiness; my maximum joy.

For five years, we've lived in peace, like the old days.

We live in peace.

We hunt in peace.

We are together in peace.

And I can love the woman that destiny sent me to, in peace.

All is well.

Okay! Imprint is officially over! Woohoo! It's kind of sad that it's over, but WOW. It's over.

When I started this, I was obsessed with Twilight. And Jacob Black. Aha :)

So what did you think? I'd like some feedback. Pweeeeeeease?

Now, Lalalaa, did this explain something? Like who Noah was? Yes/No? I'm hoping YES. :D

Sooo, I'm gonna finish this here... It's my first completed book without a sequel :( I'd like to do one, but since I have no ideas, I'm not, so.... yeah. :P

And thank you to all my readers! Everyone who has stuck with this story is awesome. Seriously awesome. Amazingly awesome. Supercalafragalisticexpedalious awesome. :) You get it, right? Haha.

Anyways, back to what I wanted to say. Everyone that has stuck with this story is amazing. It's the readers/voters/commenters like you that are what make me keep going. I know I didn't post in a while, but yeah, insomnia and no WiFi prevented me. But even though that happened, you all still kept with it and continued to be... awesome!

Bye guys!

With the most love,

Marisa <3
