Song Of The Chapter: This Summer's Gonna Hurt Like A Mother Fucker by Maroon 5
Considering the past week was hectic enough, the boys and I had yet another concert to put on for our girls. After yesterday, I didn't really want to do anything but we had to go out there and do our jobs.
I was going to put on a smile and act like a perfectly happy man.
"Alright, huddle time, guys," Niall called and pulled us all in. Out of chance, Harry was pulled close by me to complete the circle.
However, he swerved away at the last second and stood next to Liam.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance because he was being quite over dramatic. It wasn't my fault that I loved Eleanor since the moment I laid my eyes on her. We wedded because we both felt the fire works everytime we kissed, our romance was great, and our love for each other was so utterly amazing. It wasn't like all the little flings I've had before. Eleanor was real and she was mine.
Or, atleast I thought it felt real.
I thought I loved her.
"Let's go make this show the best," Liam grinned and clapped his hands. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"We're up in 3," Harry counted down, "2," the girls began to cheer, "1!"
We all ran out to the stage as our ears perked up to the sound of girls cheering for us. They held their banners high in the sky as their lights shone bright white.
After years of doing what we do, one would think seeing all this gets old - but it never does. It's always so breath taking to see the people here just for us. Liam, Niall, Harry and I never felt so special before 2010.
He knows about you in every way.
Liam's voice knocked me from my thoughts.
He's memorized every part of your face.
Inside and out, baby head to toe.
He knows everything there is to know.
I stumbled forward when Harry lightly bumped past me. He glared back at me but kept on going. I didn't know what his problem was, but if he kept it up we were going to have a real problem. Just like last night.
I winced when his voiced boomed through the speakers.
Your secret tattoo.
The way you change moods.
The songs that you sing when you're all alone.
Your favorite band, the way that you dance.
But baby, baby!
Does she know you can move it like that?
Does she know you're out and I want you so bad?
Tonight you're mine, baby.
Does she know you'll never go back?
Oh, does she know?
I wanted to smack the tall one so hard for continuously saying she instead of he. Harold needed to get over himself and his life problems. The world didn't always have to revolve around him and what goes on in his day-to-day basis. If he kept doing dumb little things like that, people would start to catch on. I had a wife at home and a job to keep and I wasn't going to let him screw it up for me.
He glanced over at me and smirked.
"Knock it the hell off," I growled, but considering the arena contained scream girls and blaring music, he was only able to read my lips.
He simply chuckled and turned away.
Two can play at that game.
After we finished Does He Know, I took it upon myself to speak to the crowd.
"How is everyone doing tonight?!" I shouted and ran to the front of the stage. They all screamed in joy and waved their arms for my attention, which they excitedly recieved. Joy spread through the air, putting smiles on every single one of our faces.
I glanced at Harry.
Except him.
Of course he wasn't smiling.
He had to be a grump over nothing.
Instead, he watched me suspiciously with his head cocked slightly to the right. His face screamed curiousity. If Harry wanted to think too much, I would give him more to think about.
"So, so," I put my hands up to get the girls quiet, "I just want to talk to you for a moment."
"Let's listen to the hubby, yeah?" Liam hummed from the background somewhere. I chuckled and shook my head.
"Well, what a wedding, am I right?" I smiled and looked around. The screams of happiness answered an obvious yes. I was glad to know they were happy. Atleast they supported me, unlike some people.
"Didn't I look so hot in my suit?" I joked, but turned to the side and showed off my curves.
"My pants were mighty tight in all the right places, which I was okay with because I wanted to satisfy you." I winked and giggled. The crowd broke out in a ear piercing scream as I blew a kiss to them.
"And then me and Eleanor waltzed the night away." I sighed dreamily and twirled around the stage. A lot of the girls started to chant.
Elounor!
Elounor!
Elounor!
I clapped my hands and glanced over at Harry. He frowned slightly and shot his head in my direction. I smirked and laughed at him. I shrugged my shoulders.
Sorry.
It is what it is.
I turned to the other boys, "Let's sing some more!"
